Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a monitoring device for detecting a locking or closed position of a sash of a window, a French window or the like that can be pivoted relative to a frame, with a signaling magnet to be fastened to one of the components of the sash or the frame, with a signaling reed contact to be fastened to an opposite component for detecting the signaling magnet in a predetermined position and with at least one safety reed contact for detecting an external magnet in the area of the signaling reed contact.
[0002] A magnetically actuated detector with a reed contact is known, for example, from DE 199 14 568 A1. To monitor the closed state of a window, at least one safety reed contact is provided in addition to a signaling reed contact for detecting a switching magnet. A magnetic response lobe of the safety reed contact projects into a freely accessible surface of the detector, but not into the path of movement of the switching magnet. The signaling reed contact and the safety reed contact are each elongated and arranged parallel to each other. Separating the response lobes requires a large distance between the reed contacts, which are aligned in the same space.
[0003] Furthermore, DE 10 2008 001 194 A1 discloses a monitoring device in which a receiving unit for detecting a transmitting unit has a base part and a receiving part. The receiving part is adjustable relative to the base part.
[0004] The invention is based on the problem of developing a monitoring device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it is of particularly simple construction and enables reliable separation of the response lobes.
[0005] This problem is solved according to the invention in that the safety reed contact has a different spatial orientation to the movement path of the signaling magnet than the signaling reed contact.
[0006] This design allows the alignment of the various response lobes to be determined by the spatial orientation of the various reed contacts. This allows the safety reed contact to be positioned very close to the signaling reed contact and yet align the response lobe in a different direction. The response lobes are separated by the different orientations of the reed contacts. This prevents the safety reed contact from detecting the movement of the signaling magnet, despite the close structural arrangement of the reed contacts. Since no additional components are required apart from the different spatial orientation of the reed contacts, the monitoring device is particularly simple in design. The signaling reed contact and signaling magnet can be arranged on any component of the sash or frame or a lock or drive rod fitting that can be moved differently relative to one another, thus ensuring tamper-proof monitoring of the position of the components relative to one another.
[0007] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the magnet can be detected in a particularly narrow spatial area if the signaling reed contact is elongated and arranged orthogonally to the movement path of the signaling magnet. As a result, the switching cone of the signaling reed contact extends in the direction of the movement path of the signaling magnet in the form of a narrow, directed beam. Thanks to the invention, a tamper magnet held from outside does not lead to detection by the signaling reed contact. Furthermore, the response beam of the signaling reed contact is symmetrical from the position of the signaling magnet and therefore reliably detects the approach of the signaling magnet from both directions.
[0008] According to another advantageous development of the invention, an external magnet held from outside can be detected over a large area if the safety reed contact is designed to be elongated and arranged parallel to the movement path of the signaling magnet.
[0009] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the monitoring device's security against tampering can be increased by having a safety reed contact projecting in opposite directions from the signaling reed contact. This design allows the monitoring device to be symmetrical and thus suitable for right- and left-hinged doors.
[0010] The intended alignment of the signaling reed contact to the at least one safety reed contact is designed according to another advantageous development of the invention if a T-shaped housing is designed with a base for receiving the signaling reed contact and with at least one leg for receiving the at least one safety reed contact.
[0011] For example, the safety reed contact could have particularly large dimensions compared to the signaling reed contact. However, this requires the provision of different components. According to another advantageous development of the invention, the monitoring device is particularly cost-effective if the signaling reed contact and the at least one safety reed contact are identical parts.
[0012] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the assembly of the monitoring device is particularly simple if the base of the T-shaped housing forms a cable duct for connecting cables of the signaling reed contact and the at least one safety reed contact.
[0013] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the sides of the legs of the T-shaped housing facing the base have a flange for support on a rebate surface of the sash or frame to further simplify the installation of the monitoring device. The flange can have a square contour, be offset according to the rebate surface, or have grooves and webs.
[0014] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the housing has bores or elongated holes for screwing to the sash or frame to further simplify the installation of the monitoring device.
[0015] The monitoring device can be used either to monitor the closed position of the sash in the frame or to monitor the locking of the sash in the frame, provided the signaling magnet has a magnet carrier for attachment to a drive rod of a drive rod fitting for locking the sash in the frame or for attachment to the component of the frame or sash opposite the signaling reed contact. This makes the monitoring device particularly versatile.
[0016] The invention permits numerous embodiments. To further clarify its basic principle, several of them are shown in the drawing and are described below. This shows in Fig. 1 a window with a monitoring device according to the invention, Fig. 2 enlarged the monitoring device from Figure 1 , Fig. 3 a perspective view of the monitoring device from Figure 1 , Fig. 4a signaling reed contact of the monitoring device Figure 1 with schematically illustrated response lobes.
[0017] Figure 1shows a window with a sash 2 that can be pivoted against a frame 1 and with a connecting rod fitting 3. The connecting rod fitting 3 has a longitudinally displaceable connecting rod 5 that can be driven by a handle 4 to control a plurality of locks 6. The locks 6 serve to lock the sash 2 in the frame 1. The window also has a monitoring device 7 for detecting a locking or closed position of the sash 2 relative to the frame 1. The monitoring device 7 has a sensor carrier 8 arranged on the frame 1 and a magnetic carrier 9 connected to the sash 2. The sensor carrier 8 is connected to a control device 11, such as an alarm system or a smart home control center, via a schematically shown connecting cable 10.
[0018] Figure 2 shows an enlarged view of the monitoring device 7 with a partial area of the drive rod fitting 3 from Figure 1In the illustrated embodiment, the magnet carrier 9 is attached to the drive rod 5 arranged on the leaf 2. In an embodiment not shown, the magnet carrier 9 can also be attached directly to the leaf 2. The sensor carrier 8 has a T-shaped housing 12, from which the connecting cable 10 is led.
[0019] Figure 3 shows the monitoring device Figure 1in an enlarged perspective view with components shown in dash-dotted lines within the sensor carrier 8 and the magnet carrier 9. To simplify the drawing, the components of the drive rod fitting 3 are not shown. A vertically arranged signaling reed contact 13 and two horizontally arranged safety reed contacts 14, 15 are mounted in the T-shaped housing 12 of the sensor carrier 8. The reed contacts 13 - 15 are elongated and, due to their horizontal and vertical arrangement, are aligned differently from the movement path of the magnet carrier 9, shown in dash-dotted lines.
[0020] The magnet carrier 9 has a signaling magnet 16. When the leaf 2 is locked in the frame 1, the signaling magnet 16 moves via the T-shaped housing 12 by the drive of the drive rod 5.
[0021] The signaling reed contact 13 is arranged in a base 17 of the T-shaped housing 12 and thus orthogonal to the path of movement of the signaling magnet 16. The safety reed contacts 14, 15 are arranged in legs 18, 19 of the T-shaped housing 12 projecting from the base 17 and thus parallel to the path of movement of the signaling magnet 16. The legs 18, 19 of the housing 12 also have elongated holes 20, 21 for attachment to the frame 1 made of Figure 1 The side of the legs 18, 19 of the T-shaped housing 12 facing the frame 1 has a flange 22 for support on a rebate surface of the frame 1. This allows the base 17 to be received in a bore (not shown) in the frame 1.
[0022] Figure 4shows the signaling reed contact 13 of the monitoring device 7 with schematically illustrated response lobes 23, 24. It can be seen that the response lobes 23, 24 depend essentially on the orientation of the signaling reed contact 13. The signaling magnet 16 from Figure 3 is only detected by the signaling reed contact 13 if it is located in one of the illustrated response lobes 23, 24. The signaling reed contact 23 switches contacts 25 when the signaling magnet 16 is inserted and removed, which is controlled by the control unit 11. Figure 1 recorded and evaluated. The data in Figure 3 The safety reed contacts 14, 15 shown are constructed like the signaling reed contact 13, so that the same applies to their response lobes and the switching by contacts. The response lobes of the safety reed contacts are located outside the Figure 3shown path of movement of the signaling magnet 16, so that switching of the safety reed contacts 14, 15 indicates an attempt at manipulation with an externally attached magnet.
