Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a facade element of a unit facade with a frame formed from profiles in which at least one filling element is held.
[0002] DE 20 2019 102 117 U1 discloses a unitized façade with several façade elements, each comprising a frame to which at least one infill element is attached. The individual façade elements are movable relative to each other, allowing for a certain degree of compensation for thermal expansion. Wind loads due to suction or pressure can also lead to deformation.
[0003] DE 10 2023 109 239 discloses a unitized façade in which the façade elements are arranged in a single plane and sealing profiles and an elastic foam are provided between the façade elements, allowing the façade elements to remain movable relative to one another. Such movements can have a detrimental effect on the stability of a façade element's frame.
[0004] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a facade element of a unit facade which has increased stability.
[0005] This object is achieved with a facade element having the features of claim 1. In the facade element of a unitized facade according to the invention, a frame formed from profiles is provided, in which at least one filling element is held. An angular corner piece is arranged on an outer side at at least one corner of the frame, which is secured to two adjacent angularly arranged profiles of the frame. The frame can thus be reinforced in the corner area via the angular corner piece, which creates increased stability of the frame against forces, in particular forces due to weight loads or wind loads. In addition, the corner piece can offer burglary protection due to the frame's greater stability.
[0006] Preferably, the profiles comprise two metallic profile sections which are connected to each other via at least one insulating web, in particular an insulating web made of plastic, wherein the corner piece is only connected to the metallic
[0007] Profile section is connected on an outer side. The corner piece can preferably be connected to each of the two profiles via at least one fastening means, for example screws, whereby the screws are only screwed into the outer profile section so that no thermal bridge is created by screws that extend as far as the at least one insulating bar. The fastening of the angle piece via fastening means thus takes place exclusively on the outer metallic profile section. Instead of screws, other mechanical fastening means, such as rivets, can also be used. It is also possible to glue the angle piece to the profiles or to connect it using locking means. Several fastening means can also be combined with one another.
[0008] The corner piece is preferably designed as a one-piece angle. This allows for easy manufacture and assembly. The corner piece can preferably be made of metal, for example, from sheet metal, but can also be made of aluminum, steel, stainless steel, or plastic, especially glass-fiber-reinforced plastic.
[0009] In a preferred embodiment, the corner piece is covered by two cover strips, so that in the installed position the corner piece is not visible from the outside. The cover strips can be U-shaped in cross-section and overlap one leg of the corner piece. The cover strips are preferably connected to the two profiles and / or the corner piece by locking means, so that cover strips are easy to install. A sealing profile can be fixed to each cover strip, which clamps against the filling element. Optionally, the sealing profile can also be attached to a leg of the corner piece or to another profile instead of to the cover strip.
[0010] For a particularly stable design, the corner piece has a profile on the side facing the profiles that engages with the profiles. Such a profile can be designed, for example, as a tongue-and-groove connection or have a ribbed or waved shape, creating a positive fit that prevents the corner piece from shifting relative to the profiles.
[0011] Preferably, the two legs of the corner piece each have a greater cross-section width than an adjacent outer metal profile section of the profile in a direction parallel to the plane of the filling element. The leg section, which preferably protrudes on the inside, creates a particularly rigid connection. This projection of the protruding leg section can, for example, extend between 3 mm and 25 mm.
[0012] To ensure the facade element's particularly stable construction, corner pieces are fixed to the two lower corners of the frame. Optionally, corner pieces can also be provided at all four corners. The corner pieces can also be connected to form a continuous support frame.
[0013] The facade elements are preferably used to form a prefabricated facade, with the individual facade elements mounted on the building in a single plane, with sealing profiles provided between adjacent facade elements. The individual facade elements are fixed directly to the building.
[0014] The invention will be explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show: Figure 1 is an exploded view of a facade element according to the invention; Figure 2 is a detailed view of a corner area of the facade element of the Figure 1without cover strips; Figure 3 a detailed view of the corner area of the facade element of the Figure 2 with cover strips; Figure 4 a sectional view through the facade element of the Figure 2 , and Figures 5-12 show several sectional views through modified facade elements.
[0015] A facade element 1 comprises a frame 2 formed from several profiles 3 that are mitered in the corner area and lie against one another. A plate-shaped filling element, for example an insulating glass pane or other plate-shaped component, can be held in the frame 2. A corner piece 4 is fixed to at least the two lower corners of the frame 2. The corner piece 4 has two legs 5 and 6 that are attached to the profiles 3 via fastening means in the form of screws 7. The corner pieces 4 reinforce the frame on an outer side, i.e. on the side that is arranged on the outside in the assembled position on an element facade. In the assembled position, the corner pieces 4 are arranged under cover strips 8 that are fixed to the frame 3.
[0016] In Figure 2a corner region of the frame 2 with two profiles 3 is shown. Each profile 3 comprises an inner metallic profile section 10 and an outer profile section 12, between which one or more insulating webs are arranged. This reduces the heat flow from an outer side and the outer metallic profile section 12 to the inside. The metallic profile sections 10 and 12 can be produced, for example, by extrusion, in particular from aluminum. The corner piece 4 is fixed to the outer metallic profile section 12 and is secured to the outer metallic profile section 12 by fastening means in the form of screws 7. The screws 7 penetrate a wall section of the outer metallic profile section 12 and do not extend as far as the insulating webs 11.
[0017] The corner piece 4 is made of a structurally load-bearing material, preferably metal, and is formed in one piece. The corner piece 4 comprises two legs 5 and 6, which are the same length but can also be of different lengths. Each leg 5 and 6 has a substantially rectangular cross-section and rests on an outer side of the profile 3. The legs 5 and 6 protrude from the outer metallic profile section on an inner side parallel to the plane of the filling element 9, in particular by at least 10% of their width, and can thus provide a high degree of stiffening in this area.
[0018] The metallic profile section 12 features a profile in the form of an outwardly projecting rib 13, which is received in a groove 14 on the corner piece 4. Such a tongue-and-groove connection prevents slipping of the corner piece 4 relative to the profiles 3 through positive locking, which further increases stability. Other profiles can also be used to improve the stability of the corner piece 4 and the profile 3.
[0019] In Figure 3 The corner of frame 2 is shown with the cover strips 8. The cover strips 8 have a substantially U-shaped or C-shaped cross-section and form a receptacle in which the legs 5 and 6 of the corner piece 4 are received. The cover strips 8 are also mitered and completely cover the corner piece 4 on the outside.
[0020] In Figure 4A sectional view through the profile 3 is shown, on which a filling element 9 in the form of an insulating glass pane is arranged in the plane of the insulating strips 11. The filling element 9 is clamped between two sealing profiles 19 and 20. The inner sealing profile 20 is held on the inner metallic profile section 10. The cover strip 8 comprises a first leg 18, on which the outer sealing profile 19 is held, which rests clamped on an outer side of the filling element 9. The cover strip 8 comprises a second leg 28, which engages with a hook in an undercut groove of the metallic profile section 12 and is supported by a support web protruding perpendicular to the plane of the filling element 9. The cover strip 8 is thus fixed to the profile 3 and serves as a glass retaining strip for securing the filling element 9.
[0021] In the Figures 5-12Modifications of the facade element 1 are shown, whereby only the modification is described and the design can otherwise be designed as in the first embodiment.
[0022] In Figure 5 Instead of the groove 14, two protruding webs 15 are formed on the legs 5 and 6 of the corner piece 4, and the metallic profile section is received with an edge region between the two webs 15. This creates a positive connection, and the corner piece 4 is secured against displacement on two angularly arranged profiles 3.
[0023] In Figure 6 the corner piece 4 is provided on the two legs 5 and 6 with only one protruding retaining web 16, which engages in a groove on the metallic profile section 12 in order to create a positive connection between the corner piece 4 and the two profiles 3.
[0024] In Figure 7The legs 5 and 6 of the corner piece 4 are rectangular in cross-section. At least one screw 7 passes through each leg 5 and 6, which engages with a threaded portion in the metallic outer profile section 12. A front end of the screw 7 is arranged in a hollow chamber of the metallic profile section 12.
[0025] In the Figure 8 In the illustrated embodiment, the corner piece 4 is provided with legs 5 and 6 that are not rectangular in cross-section, but rather angular. Thus, each leg 5 and 6 is fixed to an outer side of the profile 3 with a first screw 7 and laterally to it by another screw 7, which is aligned perpendicular to the first screw 7. Such an angular design of the legs 5 and 6 can further increase the stability of the corner piece 4. Figure 8The web projecting to the inside extends on the leg 5 to the metallic profile section 10 and is fixed there by another screw 7. It is of course also possible to make the web shorter and to screw it only in the area of the outer metallic profile section 12.
[0026] In Figure 9A profiling 21 is formed on the corner piece 4 on the legs 5 and 6 so that the outer sealing profile 19 can be fixed there. The surface element 9 in the form of the insulating glass pane is thus clamped between the inner sealing profile 20 on the inner metallic profile section 10 and the sealing profile 19 on the legs 5 and 6. Furthermore, each leg 5 and 6 comprises profilings for locking a modified cover strip 8', which is again U-shaped in cross-section, with the two legs 18' and 28' being locked to the legs 5 and 6 via a locking profiling. Thus, the filling element 9 is not fixed via the cover strip 8, but via the corner pieces 4.
[0027] In Figure 10 A groove 14 is again formed on the leg 5 and a protruding strip 13 is formed on the metallic profile section 12. Otherwise, the embodiment corresponds to that of the Figure 9 .
[0028] In Figure 11The corner piece 4 is fixed to the profile section 12 with the legs 5 and 6 via a snap-in connection. Flexible locking rods 42 are formed on an inner side of each leg 5 and 6, which can be inserted into an undercut groove on the metallic profile section 12. The legs 5 and 6 are covered by the cover strips 8, which are fixed to the metallic profile section 12 with one leg 28 and fix the outer sealing profile 19 with the other leg 18.
[0029] Figure 12 corresponds to the embodiment of the Figure 11 , however, at least one screw 7 is additionally screwed into each leg 5 and 6, which at least partially penetrates the metallic profile section 12.
[0030] In the illustrated embodiments, the legs 5 and 6 of the corner piece 4 each have a greater width than the adjacent outer metallic profile section 12 in a direction parallel to the plane of the filling element 9 and can thus provide significant stiffening. The legs each protrude beyond the outer metallic profile section 12 on an inner side, preferably by between 3 mm and 25 mm.
[0031] The illustrated embodiments can be combined with one another as desired. Furthermore, in addition to the mechanical fastening means, it is also possible to provide for adhesive bonding of the corner piece 4, which can be fixed, for example, alternatively or additionally, to the metal profile section 12 with adhesive. Furthermore, a support frame can optionally be formed from several corner pieces 4 and profiles. List of reference symbols
