Description

[0001] Signaling device in aquatic environment

[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD

[0003] The present invention relates to the field of devices for signaling a person in an aquatic environment, more precisely a person located on a body of water. It finds a particularly advantageous application in the field of scuba diving.

[0004] STATE OF THE ART

[0005] In scuba diving, when the diver returns to the surface at the end of the dive, he or she must return to his or her boat. In practice, a recurring difficulty is that this diver can be easily located by the boat. Indeed, when members of the same group reach the surface, they are often located at a distance from the boat that prevents them from being easily located by sight from the boat. Moreover, currents contribute significantly to this distance.

[0006] This problem of locating a person on the water's surface is particularly acute when the swell obscures the diver or when the light is poor. Naturally, this problem is amplified during night dives. To address this issue, inflatable marker buoys are available. These inflatable buoys are deployed by the diver after reaching the surface. These buoys are taller than the part of a diver's body above water, typically over 50 cm. However, in the dark, this type of device can be insufficient. Some deployable buoys are coated with reflective strips to improve their visibility.

[0007] These deployable signaling buoys have low signaling efficiency, particularly in times of swell or when there is a significant distance between the boat and the divers.

[0008] There is therefore a need to propose a solution for improving the visibility of a person, for example a diver, positioned on the surface of a body of water. This is one of the objectives of the present invention.

[0009] Other objects, features, and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description and accompanying drawings. It is understood that other advantages may be incorporated.

[0010] SUMMARY

[0011] To achieve this objective, according to one embodiment, a signaling system is provided configured to be worn by a user on the surface of a body of water, the system is characterized in that it comprises a device for ejecting a fluid, the ejection device comprises:

[0012] - at least one first fluid inlet configured to allow the penetration of water from the body of water into a conduit of the ejection device,

[0013] - at least one second fluid inlet configured to be connected to a source of a pressurized gas, in order to allow the penetration of the gas inside the conduit, the ejection device being configured so that the water and the gas mix in the conduit,

[0014] - at least one fluid outlet of the conduit configured so as to allow the formation of a fluid jet and propagating outside the system in a main direction, the jet being formed from water and gas escaping from the conduit.

[0015] Thus, the system generates a jet of fluid formed by the water surrounding the user and by a pressurized gas, typically a pressurized gas contained in diving cylinders.

[0016] This system allows you to signal the presence of a diver who may be far from other members of their group, their instructor, or their boat. This system thus increases the safety of divers and facilitates the work of diving instructors and accompanying boat pilots.

[0017] In addition, it can be oriented in various directions. It can be moved manually by the user so as to produce a visual movement that will be particularly visible even from a distance.

[0018] This solution has the advantage of significantly improving a diver's visibility, while being less bulky than a deployable signaling buoy. Indeed, this system has the advantage of not significantly increasing the size or weight of the diver. Indeed, this system makes it possible to form a visual element by using the water surrounding the user as well as the gas that the user carries in their usual equipment.

[0019] Optionally, the system comprises at least one optical output, integral with the ejection device and configured so as to propagate a light beam delimited by an envelope in a secondary direction, the system being configured so that the envelope of the light beam emitted from the optical output intersects the envelope of the beam of the jet of fluid ejected from the fluid output.

[0020] The fluid jet is thus illuminated by the light beam. This illuminated fluid jet thus constitutes a visual element allowing the presence of the user to be signaled.

[0021] As a result, this system significantly improves the safety of divers during dives in low light conditions, or even at night.

[0022] The visual element formed by the illuminated jet can be of significant size, preferably greater than 50 cm.

[0023] According to one embodiment, an assembly is provided comprising a signaling system and a gas source, preferably under pressure, the system and the gas source being two separate elements and configured so as to connect fluidically via a connector, preferably flexible, so as to supply the second fluid inlet with gas.

[0024] Another aspect relates to a method of signaling a user, for example a diver, on a body of water using a system worn by the user, the method being characterized in that it comprises a step of fluidic connection to the second fluidic inlet of a pressurized air inlet conduit from a reservoir included in the user's equipment, typically a diving cylinder.

[0025] Optionally, use is made of one of the connections available on a bottle or a disconnection of a system that the diver no longer uses on the surface.

[0026] Optionally, the method comprises a step of switching on a light source so that the optical output emits a beam which diffuses into the water jet.

[0027] Optionally, the pressurized gas tank is a diving cylinder and the air inlet pipe is directly connected to an outlet of a regulator fitted to the cylinder.

[0037] DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0038] Before commencing a detailed review of embodiments of the invention, optional features which may optionally be used in combination or alternatively are set out below:

[0039] According to one example, the system comprising a housing, the housing incorporating the conduit with the first fluid inlet, the second fluid inlet, the first fluid outlet with the optical outlet.

[0040] According to one example, the jet has a height Hj preferably measured along the main direction X1.

[0041] According to an example, Hj is measured along the vertical when the main direction X1 is vertical. Naturally, it follows from the explanations which follow that Hj is measured beyond the surface of the water, that is to say in the air situated above the surface of the water body and not underwater.

[0042] Preferably the height Hj is greater than 50 cm, preferably greater than 75 cm, preferably greater than 150 cm.

[0043] According to one example, the system is configured such that the envelope of the light beam intersects the fluid jet at a height Hi, measured along the vertical, such that Hi > 0.5 * Hj. Preferably Hi > 0.7 * Hj, preferably Hi > 0.9 * Hj and preferably Hi > 0.95 * Hj.

[0044] Thus, a significant portion of the fluid jet is illuminated by the light beam. This further improves the visibility of the jet and therefore the signaling effectiveness of the user, preferably a diver at the water surface.

[0045] According to one example, the light beam propagates in the secondary direction and has a divergence angle a less than or equal to 45° relative to the main direction.

[0046] Preferably less than or equal to 30°, preferably less than or equal to 20°.

[0047] These values allow both to have a large overlap area of the fluid jet by the light beam, while concentrating the light energy on the beam. According to an example, the second fluidic inlet is configured to fluidically cooperate with a diver's equipment so as to supply the second fluidic inlet with the pressurized gas.

[0048] The second fluid inlet can, for example, be directly connected to an outlet of a regulator of a breathing gas cylinder, typically the outlet of the first stage of a regulator. This connection can be made using a dedicated flexible hose.

[0049] According to one example, the pressurized gas entering the conduit has a pressure greater than or equal to 5 bars, preferably greater than or equal to 8 bars, preferably greater than or equal to 10 bars. This pressure is generally less than 15 bars. Preferably, this pressure is between 10 bars and 12 bars.

[0050] According to one example, the pressurized gas penetrating inside the conduit has a pressure greater than or equal to 5 bars, preferably greater than or equal to 8 bars, preferably between 10 bars and 12 bars, so that said jet formed from the water and the gas escaping from the conduit has a height Hj greater than 50 cm, preferably greater than 75 cm, preferably greater than 150 cm.

[0051] According to one example, throughout the propagation of the fluid jet, the ejection device is continuously supplied with water from the body of water via the at least one first fluid inlet. The second fluid inlet can also be connected to a hose normally used to supply pressurized gas to the diver's stabilization jacket. Once the diver reaches the surface of the body of water, he no longer needs to inject pressurized gas into his jacket. He can therefore use this hose to inject pressurized air into the signaling system.

[0052] In one example, the second fluid inlet includes a thread or a slip ring connection. This could be another system used in scuba diving.

[0053] According to one example, the conduit has a narrowing of the gas inlet section, so as to suck in the water at the first fluid inlet by venturi effect.

[0054] According to one example, the system comprises several first fluid inlets. This advantageously makes it possible to suck in more water and therefore eject a jet of fluid with a higher flow rate.

[0055] According to one example, the system comprises several fluid outlets so as to create a plurality of fluid jets. Advantageously, the jets are distributed around the optical outlet.

[0056] According to one example, the system comprises several optical outputs so as to create a plurality of light beams. Preferably, the optical outputs are directed in directions substantially parallel to the ejection directions of the jets.

[0057] According to one example, the system is configured to emit multiple light beams and multiple fluid jets such that each light beam intersects at least one fluid jet. Preferably a single fluid jet. Thus, each fluid jet is associated with a light beam.

[0058] According to one example, the light beam is configured so as to intersect the jet at different distances. Preferably the light beam is conical.

[0059] According to one embodiment, the system comprises several light sources configured to emit several different beams and each beam intersects the jet at different distances so as to illuminate in portions, continuously or discontinuously. According to another embodiment, the beam comes from a single source, the source being configured to emit a beam whose shape and / or emission distance varies intermittently.

[0060] In one example, the light beam is flared and / or discontinuous so as to cover a larger area, at the same time, the jet has a diffuse shape in order to illuminate an area of microdroplets.

[0061] In one example, the optical output is configured to flare and / or discontinuously illuminate the fluid jet.

[0062] As a result, this allows for a larger illuminated surface area with a lower light output, thus allowing lighting for a longer period of time. This embodiment increases the safety of the user who will be able to signal his presence for a longer period of time without reducing his battery. According to one example, the system is configured to be worn on the arm, preferably on the user's wrist.

[0063] Preferably, the system comprises a wristband, a bra, a fastening strap so as to allow it to be held in position on the arm or wrist. According to one example, the system comprises a warning device configured to indicate the battery level. Preferably, this will be an indicator light.

[0064] According to one example, the system comprises a light source configured to emit the light beam. Preferably, the light source is integral with the signaling system. Preferably, the enclosure encloses the light source.

[0065] According to one example, the first fluid outlet is located at a distance less than or equal to 5 cm, preferably 3 cm, preferably 1 cm from the optical outlet.

[0066] In one example, the first fluid output is divided into several elementary outputs.

[0067] Preferably, the elementary outputs are distributed evenly around the light source.

[0068] In one example, the system includes multiple light sources.

[0069] In one example, the optical output forms a concentric ring around the first fluid output.

[0070] Alternatively, the system is configured to be optically coupled with a light source external to the system. This external light source is, for example, a lamp such as a diving flashlight.

[0071] According to one example, the system comprises hook openings which form an angle of between 30° and 60° with the main direction so as to allow the passage of textile bands to fix the system in a stabilized manner on one of the diver's wrists.

[0072] According to one example, the system is configured to continuously propagate said jet of fluid for a duration greater than 10 seconds and preferably greater than one minute.

[0073] In one example, the ejection device extends from the first fluid inlet and the second fluid inlet to the first fluid outlet.

[0074] It is specified that in the context of the present invention, the term jet is understood as the volume occupied by the pressurized fluid emitted by the system from the first fluid outlet. It may be a continuous or discontinuous volume such as, for example, droplets.

[0075] It is specified that in the context of the present invention, the term beam is understood as the volume crossed by the photonic emissions from the optical output and delimited by a contour.

[0076] The term "body of water" can be understood as a basin, a lake, a river, a sea or an ocean.

[0077] The term "principal direction" refers to the direction of propagation of a fluid jet. In the case of several fluid jets, there will then be several elementary principal directions.

[0078] The term "secondary direction" refers to the direction of emission of a light beam. In the case of several light beams, there will then be several elementary secondary directions.

[0079] As illustrated in Figure 1 and according to one example, the user 2 is a diver wearing equipment as well as the signaling system 1 according to the present invention. The system 1 is worn at the forearm and allows the use of the hands to be free.

[0080] As illustrated in Figures 2A and 2B and according to one example, the signaling system 1 can be included in an envelope 11 which is a housing, the housing being able to include ventilation reliefs as well as a set of buttons allowing the control of the different functions of the system 1.

[0081] The system 1 is advantageously used on the surface of the water. As is clear from the preceding paragraphs, use on the surface of the water means that the system is at least partly out of the water. The diver, when on the surface of the water, has a part of his body, typically at least his head and possibly a part of his arms, above the surface of the water and a submerged part, typically his legs. He can then activate the system 1 and its ejection device 13 to form the fluid jet 130 formed from the water coming from the body of water and the pressurized gas propagating outside the system 1. By leaving the fluid outlet through which the fluid jet 130 propagates outside the system 1 out of the water, the fluid jet 130 propagates in the air and can be visible to people located at a distance from the diver.System 1 is preferably configured so as to be kept during the diving phase in a pocket of the diver's equipment. Thus, system 1 is accessible to the diver once the latter is at the surface of the water and can breathe in the open air.

[0082] According to one example, system 1 includes a strap-like attachment system, configured to allow the diver's wrist to be equipped without risk of loss.

[0083] Advantageously, the system 1 comprises air cavities, sealed or filled with a material having a lower volume density than water, so as to allow the system 1 to float. Preferably, the diameter of the fluid jet is at least five millimeters so that it can be ejected to a significant height relative to the size of the diver and / or can be visible at a distance far from the diver.

[0084] SIZING

[0085] Advantageously, the outlet diameter of the first fluid outlet 13a is less than or equal to 20 mm and / or greater than or equal to 3 mm, preferably less than or equal to 15 mm and / or greater than or equal to 5 mm. Preferably the outlet diameter of the first outlet 13a is substantially equal to 7 mm.

[0086] EJECTION DEVICE

[0087] As illustrated in Figure 4B and according to one example, there is shown an ejection device 13 extending from a first fluid inlet 13b and a second fluid inlet 13c to a first fluid outlet 13a. Consequently, the first fluid inlet 13b is distinct from the fluid outlet 13a. The first fluid inlet 13b is advantageously configured to allow fluid to enter a liquid inlet conduit 131b, preferably a water inlet. This is the water in which the diver is partially immersed. The water enters the ejection device 13 from the first fluid inlet 13b and penetrates inside a conduit 131 of the ejection device 13. When using the system 1, that is to say when the system 1 propagates the fluid jet 130 outside the system 1, the first fluid inlet 13b is immersed or fluidically connected to the outlet of a water supply conduit of which one inlet is immersed. Thus, throughout the propagation of the fluid jet 130, the ejection device 13 is continuously supplied with water from the body of water via the at least one first fluid inlet 13b. The ejection device 13 is configured so as to propagate the fluid jet 130 for a duration d of several seconds, and preferably for a duration d greater than 10 seconds, preferably greater than 30 seconds, or even greater than one minute, or even greater than 5 minutes, or even greater than one hour, or even several hours. The fluid jet 130 propagates continuously for a duration allowing it to be visually observed by people at a distance from the diver. The propagation duration d of the fluid jet 130 is limited only by the quantity of pressurized gas available since the water used is available at will. The configuration of the ejection device 13 thus makes it possible to continuously propagate a jet of fluid 130 visible from a distance, consuming very few resources and only resources used by the diver even in the absence of triggering of the ejection device 13. The presence of the Venturi device makes it possible to further reinforce this advantage. It is therefore possible to generate this visual signal for a possibly very long duration, further reinforcing the safety and efficiency provided by this signaling system.

[0088] The second fluid inlet 13c is configured to be connected to a tank which may be a diving cylinder filled with gas, preferably pressurized air, so as to cause pressurized gas to enter the conduit 131. The gas enters the interior of the conduit 131 via the air inlet conduit 131c.

[0089] According to one embodiment, when the diver is at the surface of the water, he inflates his vest 3 so as to have positive buoyancy and therefore no longer needs to subsequently reinflate his vest 3. He can then disconnect the medium pressure quick connection, generally at 10-12 bar, from his vest 3 and use this connection to connect it to the system 1 for forming the fluid jet 130. This disconnection of the inflation system of the vest 3 does not result in deflation.

[0090] Preferably, the user 2 is equipped with at least one diving cylinder comprising at least one connection configured to allow the connection of a connector, for example a flexible hose, configured to connect to the second fluid inlet 13c. Thus, in this embodiment, the second fluid inlet 13c of the system is directly connected to an outlet of a regulator, typically the outlet of the first stage of a regulator.

[0091] Generally, the first stage of a diving regulator allows you to go from a so-called high pressure of 200 to 250 bars in the bottle to a so-called medium pressure generally between 5 and 20 bars and more often between 8 and 12 bars at the outlet of the first stage.

[0092] The pressurized air is advantageously blown into the interior of the conduit 131 until it mixes in a chamber. Preferably, and as illustrated in FIG. 4B, the inlet of the chamber from the second fluid inlet 13c comprises a narrowing 131d allowing, by venturi effect, to increase the pressure inside the chamber where the mixing takes place.

[0093] It is clear from the preceding explanations that the system is configured so as to continuously propagate said fluid jet when the at least one first fluid inlet is supplied with water from the body of water. And that it is also configured so as to continuously propagate said fluid jet when the at least one fluid outlet is arranged outside the water.

[0094] According to one example, the ejection device 13 is simultaneously kept partly submerged, in particular to keep the at least one first fluid inlet 13b submerged, and partly out of the water, in particular to keep the at least one fluid outlet 13a emerged. This makes it possible to supply the ejection device 13 with water continuously and to allow the fluid jet 130 to propagate freely in the air. The diver can hold the ejection device 13 so that the surface of the body of water is located between the first fluid inlet 13b and the at least one fluid outlet 13a. Advantageously, provision is made for the ejection device 13 to have two ends, for the first fluid inlet 13b to be located at a first end and for the fluid outlet 13a to be located at a second end. This is the case in the example illustrated in Figures 1 to 4B.When the ejection device 13 is configured to be attached to the handle or to the forearm of the diver, this facilitates this positioning, in particular, when the diver is partially submerged on the surface of the body of water.

[0095] Advantageously, the ejection device 13 comprises a chamber in which the mixing takes place between the gas and the fluid coming from the first and second fluid inlets 13b, 13c.

[0096] According to one example, the gas is pressurized air. Preferably, the liquid is water present in the environment of the user 2. It may in particular be sea water.

[0097] According to this same example, the ejection device 13 may also comprise, at the outlet of the first chamber, a second narrowing which, by venturi effect, allows the advantageous suction of the mixture and directs it via an evacuation conduit to the first outlet.

[0098] JET EJECTION

[0099] According to a preferred embodiment, the fluid jet 130 is ejected along a main direction X1 and more particularly along a median axis parallel to the main direction X1. Naturally, the fluid jet 130 is intended to propagate in the air located above the surface of the body of water. The ejection device 13 is configured, in particular the fluid passage sections and the pressure of the pressurized gas, so that the jet formed from the water and the gas escaping from the conduit 131 outside the system has a height Hj, measured along the main direction Xi in the air above the surface of the water, greater than 50 cm, preferably greater than 75 cm, preferably greater than 150 cm.

[0100] The invention provides a configuration in which there is a plurality of fluid outlets 13a. This allows in particular projection in different directions or even the use of an emergency fluid outlet in the case where one of the fluid outlets 13a is blocked. The fluid outlet(s) 13a are intended to be out of the water when the system is in use.

[0101] Advantageously, the fluid jet 130 is made of a mixture of water and air; it may be an optically non-homogeneous mixture. This makes it possible, for example, in the case of a backlit jet, to improve the diffraction of the beam and increase its illumination.

[0102] According to a particular embodiment, the jet is configured to diverge in a conical shape from the first fluid outlet 13a.

[0103] According to a particular embodiment, the jet is configured to be emitted in a concentrated jet of cylindrical shape.

[0104] Preferably, the system 1 is configured so that the median axis intersects the main direction X1 of propagation of the fluid jet. Alternatively, the median axis and the main direction of propagation X1 are parallel or even coincident.

[0105] Alternatively, the water jet and the light beam 120 are respectively ejected in the main direction X1 and emitted in the secondary direction X2. The main direction X1 and the secondary direction X2 may be parallel axes. Since the light beam 120 may tend to disperse and the fluid jet 130 may deviate from its trajectory due to gravity or wind, the light beam 120 and the water jet may easily meet although their emissions were initially in two parallel directions.

[0106] Preferably, the system 1 has a median axis intersecting the main direction X1 of propagation of the fluid jet 130 by forming an angle less than 45°, preferably less than 30° and preferably less than 10°. The system 1 is preferably configured so that the envelope of the light beam 120 intersects the fluid jet 130 over a distance Di, such that Di>30 cm, preferably Di>50 cm, preferably Di>100 cm, preferably Di>150 cm. This allows significant overlap of the fluid jet by the light beam 120, which increases the illuminated volume and therefore visibility. The signaling of the diver is improved.

[0107] According to a particular embodiment, the system 1 comprises a regulator configured to adjust the power and / or the flow rate of the fluid jet 130 of the ejection device 13.

[0108] According to another embodiment, the median axis and the main direction X1 do not intersect. For example, the median axis and the main direction X1 are parallel. Nevertheless, the size of the envelope 11, the size of the jet as well as the distance between the median axis and the main direction X1 allow the light beam 120 to intersect the fluid jet. This allows for example that the overlap length of the jet by the light flux is increased. In particular, this overlap can correspond to more than 70% and preferably to more than 90%, or even the entire height of the jet, substantially the entire height of the jet.

[0109] According to one example, the jet has a height Hj measured along the main direction X1, preferably measured along the vertical when the main direction X1 is vertical. Naturally, it is clear from the preceding explanations that Hj is measured beyond the surface of the water, that is to say in the air located above the surface of the body of water. The signaling system 1 is configured so that the envelope of the light beam 120 intersects the jet ejected from the first fluid outlet 13a over a height Hi, measured along the vertical, such that Hi > 0.5 * Hj, preferably Hi > 0.7 * Hj, preferably Hi > 0.9 * Hj and preferably Hi > 0.95 * Hj.

[0110] LIGHT PROPAGATION

[0111] According to a particular embodiment, the optical output 12a comprises a reflector, preferably a metal reflector, preferably of concave shape, preferably of parabolic shape, so as to reflect and focus the light, the optical output 12a may also comprise a lens so as to collimate the beam in a precise direction.

[0112] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention 12a, the optical output 12a comprises at least one LED, preferably a plurality of LEDs, preferably eight LEDs.

[0113] According to one example, the system 1 comprises a plurality of optical outputs 12a. Thus, the light emission is greater.

[0114] According to one embodiment, the optical system is configured so that the emission of the light beam 120 takes place over several meters, preferably over at least 50 cm. The present invention thus allows diffusion of several meters for a reduced footprint.

[0115] Advantageously, the system 1 is configured to emit a jet of fluid 130 having a dimension greater than at least 1 m, preferably at least 2 m, preferably at least 3 m, preferably at least 4 m.

[0116] According to a particular embodiment, the light beam 120 is configured to emit light over a distance greater than or equal to the same figures as for the water jet 30 cm, preferably greater than or equal to 50 cm, preferably greater than or equal to 75 cm, preferably greater than or equal to 1 m.

[0117] Preferably, the light beam 120 propagates along a median axis.

[0118] In Figure 5A, according to one example, the system 1 is configured to emit a fluid jet beam 130 and a light beam 120 which extend in a main direction X1 and a secondary direction X2 parallel to each other.

[0119] In Figure 5A, according to one example, the system 1 is configured to emit a fluid jet 130 and a light beam 120 which extend in a main direction X1 and a secondary direction X2 parallel to each other. The light beam 120 is wider than the jet 130 in a direction perpendicular to the main direction X1.

[0120] In Figure 5B, according to one example, the system 1 is configured to emit two fluid jets 130 extending in the main direction of extension of the system 1 and a light beam 120 which extend in a main direction X1 and a secondary direction X2 intersecting each other.

[0121] In Figure 5C, according to one example, the system 1 is configured to emit a fluid jet 130 and a light beam 120 which extend in a main direction X1 and a secondary direction X2 parallel to each other. The light beam 120 is narrower than the jet 130 in a direction perpendicular to the main direction X1.

[0122] In Figure 5D, according to one example, the system 1 is configured to emit a jet of fluid 130 and two light beams 120 which extend in a main direction X1 and a secondary direction X2 intersecting each other.

[0123] In Figure 5E, according to one example, the system 1 is configured to emit a fluid jet 130 and a light beam 120 which extend in a main direction X1 and a secondary direction X2 intersecting each other at a crossing angle a.

[0124] In Figure 5F, according to one example, the system 1 is configured to emit two fluid jets 130 and a light beam 120 which extend in a main direction X1 and a secondary direction X2 intersecting each other at a crossing angle a.

[0125] In Figure 5G, according to one example, the system 1 is configured to emit a jet of fluid 130 which extends in a main direction X1 and three light beams 120 which extend in secondary directions X2, X2', X2”, these secondary directions intersect the main direction X1 at crossing angles a, a', a”.

[0126] Preferably, the crossing angles a, a', a” are between 0° and 45°, preferably between 0° and 15°.

[0127] In Figure 6A, according to one example, the system 1 is configured to emit a fluid jet 130 from a fluid outlet which is surrounded by three light beams 120 extending in a main direction X1 and extending in secondary directions X2, X2', X2”, these secondary directions intersect the main direction X1 at crossing angles a, a', a”.

[0128] In Figure 6A, according to one example, the system 1 comprises eight optical outputs 12a distributed equiradially around a fluid output 13a in order to emit a jet of fluid 130 backlit by a series of light beams 120.

[0129] In Figure 6B, according to one example, the system 1 comprises eight fluid outlets 13a distributed equiradially around a fluid outlet 12a in order to emit a series of fluid jets 130 backlit by a light beam 120.

[0130] In Figure 6C, according to one example, the system 1 comprises eight optical outputs 12a distributed linearly next to a fluid output 13a in order to emit a jet of fluid 130 backlit by a series of light beams 120. GAS SUPPLY

[0131] According to one embodiment, the signaling system may be supplied with gas via the second fluid inlet 13c. Preferably, this is pressurized air, contained in a bottle comprising a breathable mixture.

[0132] ENERGY DIFFERENTIAL SWITCH

[0133] According to one example, the system 1 comprises a dimmer for changing the emitted light intensity. This variation in intensity can be continuous or discontinuous. In the latter case, the light beam is therefore discontinuous over time. The light beam can therefore emit in pulses. This allows in particular to save the battery as needed. Thus, in the event of an SOS call or in an emergency, the light intensity can be increased to its maximum so as to optimize the signaling. Alternatively, it is possible to provide for the duration of the light pulses to be predetermined, for example to emit an SOS light signal in Morse code. Illuminating the water jet with an SOS signal can allow better visibility thanks to sudden variations in brightness.

[0134] COLOR VARIATION

[0135] In one example, the optical device includes diodes configured to emit a color change to adapt the signal according to external brightness configurations or according to a color code.

[0136] CONTROL BUTTONS

[0137] According to one example, the system 1 comprises an SOS function configured to flash the light from the optical output 12a. Preferably, the SOS function can be triggered using a fourth button. Preferably, the fourth button 141d comprises a raised portion so that it can be grasped blindly by the user 2.

[0138] According to one example, the system 1 comprises a switch operable via a first button 141a. Preferably at least one of the buttons 141a, 141b, 141c, 141d is raised in order to allow blind apprehension by the user 2.

[0139] Alternatively, the system does not include physical buttons but an infrared switch configured to be activated by shuttering, typically by the user's finger passing over it which interrupts an infrared beam. ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM

[0140] According to one example, the system 1 integrates an energy storage device. Advantageously, this could be a rechargeable battery.

[0141] According to a particular embodiment, the device comprises an energy storage system embedded in the storage system which may be, for example, batteries, rechargeable batteries or a battery.

[0142] According to one example, the system 1 also integrates an induction coil so as to be able, for example, to allow induction charging of an energy storage element such as a battery while preserving the sealing of the portion of the casing 11 in which all of the electrical elements are housed. THE ENCLOSURE

[0143] According to a particular embodiment, the ejection device 13 is included in an envelope 11. Advantageously, the envelope 11 is a resin or silicone housing; the use of this type of material makes it possible to withstand high seabed pressures and advantageously validate the sealing conditions necessary for the proper functioning of an electrical system.

[0144] According to one example, the casing 11 comprises openings or grooves allowing water surrounding the user 2 to penetrate into the housing. This makes it possible to increase the heat exchange surface between the housing and the water so as to cool the housing.

[0145] According to one example, the casing 11 is a resin part, preferably obtained by molding or 3D printing.

[0146] Preferably, the ejection device 13 comprises a conduit 131 arranged inside an envelope 11, the envelope 11 also comprising an insulated compartment configured so as to be able to integrate electrical components in a watertight manner.

[0147] According to a particular relationship mode, the components are directly integrated into the casing 11 by casting a resin within a mold during the manufacturing step. As illustrated in Figures 2A, 2B and 3B and according to a particular embodiment, the casing 11 is of parallelepiped shape and comprises an outlet face 11a opposite an inlet face 11b, a lower face 11c configured to be positioned against the arm 21 of the plunger and an upper face 11d, preferably having a rounded or domed shape. As in the example illustrated, it can be provided that the outlet face 11a carries the fluid outlet 13a and that the inlet face 11b carries the first fluid inlet 11b. Thus, the diver can easily position the casing 11 so that the outlet face 11a and therefore the fluid outlet 13a are out of the water and so that, simultaneously, the inlet face 11b and therefore the first fluid inlet 11b are submerged.Preferably the upper face 11 d comprises grooves configured so as to form a cooler 141 b.

[0148] According to a particular embodiment, the envelope 11 comprises a whistle.

[0149] HANGING SYSTEM

[0150] According to one example, the signaling system 1 comprises at least one attachment opening 121 configured so as to pass a attachment system 21a, preferably straps configured to secure a part of the body of the user 2, preferably the arm 21, with the system 1. The straps may be elastic. Preferably, these fasteners are configured so as to be able to be positioned at the level of the forearm 21 of the diver so as to be able to leave the hands free to use, thus making it possible and compatible to wear a diving computer or a watch on the wrist.

[0151] According to a particular embodiment, the hook openings 121 can be arranged at an angle relative to the main direction X1, so as to intersect. For example, making an angle between 30° and 45° with the main direction X1. This allows the system 1 to be used as a very stable camera support during diving. Thus, the illuminated surface corresponds to the shooting field of “action” type cameras. The hook openings 121 are preferably configured to allow the passage of “Velcro®” type straps or other watch bracelets.

[0152] According to a particular embodiment, the hook openings 121 are not perpendicular to the main direction X1, preferably they are configured to attach to one of the diver's wrists. Thus, in the case where the diver puts his two arms 21 in front of him while clasping his hands, he in fact creates an extremely stable position for filming.

[0153] This allows you to have the camera viewfinder in front of you, without effort or twisting your wrist, when filming underwater. The position of a diver underwater is very special and this type of mount responds very precisely to stability issues.

[0154] According to a particular embodiment, the envelope comprises an additional attachment opening 122 configured to pass a wrist strap.

[0155] PROCESS

[0156] According to an example, the signaling of user 2 on the surface of the water comprises several steps which can, if the technique allows, be interchanged with each other:

[0157] - a first step of fluid connection to the second fluid inlet 13c of an air inlet duct 131c coming from the tank,

[0158] - a second step of switching on a light source 12 so that the optical output 12a emits a beam which diffuses into the water jet. During this step, the light source 12 may be integrated into the system. Alternatively, it may be an independent light source, such as a diving torch handled by the user. In the latter case, it may be provided that the user holds the signaling system in one hand and holds a torch in the other hand. The fluid connection step may comprise a step of triggering the air flow via a switch.

[0159] Among one of the connections available on the bottle or by disconnecting a system 1 which the diver no longer uses on the surface.

[0160] The invention is not limited to the embodiments previously described and extends to all embodiments covered by the claims.
