Abstract

A pillar with a removable capital and helix for macro-tunnels, characterized by comprising three main elements: a pillar (1) of variable length and square cross-section, a removable upper capital (2) fixed to the pillar by means of screws, and a lower helix (3) also fixed by means of screws; the assembly is entirely free of welded joints, all its components being bolted and removable, and because the lower end of the pillar is extruded, adopting a star shape.

Description

PILLAR WITH DETACHABLE CAPITAL AND HELIX FOR MACROTUNNELS TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention falls within the sector of the construction of macro-tunnels for greenhouses, specifically it is one of the pieces used in the construction of this type of macro-tunnels, being a structural pillar with capital, and helix for its attachment to the ground, which is made up of totally detachable components and without welded joints, which improves the structural resistance, facilitates its transport, and allows repairs or partial replacements of its elements. The system consists of: • A pillar with a square cross-section, • A removable capital, • A screwed-on lower helix that facilitates insertion into the ground and prevents the pillar from recoiling. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Circular section pillars are common in macro-tunnels, but all of them, instead of the removable capital that we will describe below, have welded elements known as "horns"; these horns were welded to the pillar, resulting in a structural disadvantage, since the use of welding in a device of these characteristics weakens the steel in the areas surrounding it. Similarly, the fact that the entire assembly comes from the factory as a single unit presents a major transportation inconvenience, both domestically and for export. Furthermore, the model with welded "horns" has a limiting factor in its design, which does not allow the easy implementation of reinforcements or other elements that may be added under the arch. The present invention aims to improve the system currently used with welded parts, constituting a solution to the problems mentioned. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a structural pillar with capital and helix for macro-tunnels of variable length, completely demountable, manufactured using bolted elements, without welding, and with a quadrangular section, thus improving: -Structural rigidity -Modularity -The transport of the set -The ease of replacing damaged components It consists of a square-section pillar, a bolted upper capital, and a lower helix fixed by screws. The pillar comprises three main elements: -A pillar with a square cross-section -A detachable capital, -A screwed-on lower helix that facilitates insertion into the ground and prevents the pillar from recoiling. We will now describe the 3 elements: 1.- Square section pillar, which consists of a square tube of variable length depending on the needs whose lower end is extruded, adopting a "star" shape that facilitates its entry into the ground, the pillar has perforations, both at the top to attach the capital, and at the bottom to fix the helix. 2. Removable capital, is the element used to attach the arch to the pillar, although it can also be used to fix other elements of the macro-tunnel, the capital has perforations for fixing these elements using screws. 3. The lower helix, a spiral-shaped element attached to the pillar by self-tapping screws, is made from a circular plate. Two tabs with holes are folded from its center for fixing it to the pillar with screws. It is inserted into the ground by rotating it, and its function is to prevent the pillar from coming out once buried. The device has a number of objectives, such as: - The elimination of welded joints, which will reduce their associated costs. -Ease of carrying out repairs or replacements of the elements that make it up, since, as all its joints are screwed, it is easy to intervene specifically in the damaged element. -Easy assembly. -Because the section of the body of the assembly is quadrangular, the structural behavior of the pillar is improved. -The detachable nature of the device provides great transport convenience. -It makes design changes more flexible, since it is not necessary to alter the entire assembly, only the specific component that needs to be modified. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS To complement the description, by way of example and without limitation, the description will be supplemented with a set of drawings: • Figure 1. Shows an overview of the pillar with its three elements: the pillar (1), the capital (2) and the helix (3). • Figure 2. Shows a view of the pillar with the capital mounted and the arches attached to it. • Figure 3. Shows a view of the pillar with the capital being dismantled where we can see the different holes and screws used for its assembly and for joining the arches to the capital. • Figure 4. Shows a view of the propeller with its tabs to be screwed to the pillar. • Figure 5. Shows a view of the pillar with the helix and its ground placement system, rotating the structure. • Figure 6. Shows a view of a macro-tunnel, indicating with a circle the location of the capitals that support the arches. PREFERRED MODE OF EMBODIMENT A preferred embodiment of the three parts of the pillar is described below: -Pillar Macrotunnel Square section tube of variable length which is perforated at one end for the placement of the flange and extruded at the other which gives it its characteristic star shape that facilitates its placement. -Capital for Macrotunnel It is produced from a 2.5 mm thick steel sheet by means of punching using a die with the desired shape. -Helix for Macrotunnel: Starting with a laser-cut circular sheet, successive folds are applied until the desired spiral shape is achieved. Two tabs are folded from its center, and two holes are drilled in each tab to attach the helix to the pillar with screws.
