Description

Title of the invention: Position and temperature sensor assembly

[0001] The present invention relates to a sensor assembly comprising an inductive position sensor and a temperature sensor. This assembly is intended to measure the position and temperature of an inverter in an electrical machine used in a mobility device such as an electric vehicle or an electric bicycle.

[0002] Typically, this type of assembly consists of an inductive sensor housed within a casing and a temperature sensor located outside the casing. Such an assembly requires either two independent wiring harnesses or a single complex wiring harness with at least one connector for the temperature sensor, at least one connector for the position sensor, and at least one connector for the inverter. The use of this harness system increases the cost of the sensor assembly.

Sensor assembly comprising a position sensor with so-called inductive technology (30) and at least one temperature sensor (40) for an electric machine, characterized in that the sensor assembly is arranged in a housing (10) and in that a single group of connections (21) comes out of the housing (10) to make the connection with an inverter of the electric machine.

2. Sensor assembly according to claim 1, wherein the position sensor with so-called inductive technology (30) is disposed in the housing (10) and connected to a first (31) conductive output and at least one temperature sensor (40) is disposed in the housing and connected to a second (41) conductive output, these two outputs are connected together inside the housing, to form a single group of connections (21) which comes out of the housing and allows connection to an inverter.

3. Sensor assembly according to any one of claims 1 or 2, wherein the housing (10) is made of plastic.

4. Sensor assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein at least one temperature sensor (40°C) is an NTC thermistor.
