Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: A dyeing kit technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to a dyeing kit for dyeing, in particular for dyeing keratin fibers, in particular human keratin fibers, for example, hair. Context
[0002] Dyes are widely used in various applications and fields, such as printing, paper, textiles, cosmetics, medical sciences, painting, and others. In many situations, rapid dyeing may be desirable. However, in some other situations, slow dyeing may be desirable. In particular, slow dyeing may result in a "reversible" dyeing effect, allowing for the modification or reversal of some undesirable dye.
[0003] For example, many people have long sought to change the color of their hair, and in particular to dye it in order, for example, to cover gray hair. The dyeing product may comprise at least one oxidative dye and at least one oxidant. For best results, the oxidative dye and the oxidant may be placed in a multi-compartment container and mixed together immediately before use.
[0004] Consumers wish to use dyes to color only the target area. However, in many cases, for example, when dyeing hair, other areas may be undesirably dyed (stained), such as the hands, face, ears, and others. Consumers must pay more attention to avoid unwanted areas and have sought products that help them remedy unwanted dyeing. Summary of the invention
[0005] The inventors have now discovered that the use of a specific retarder in a dye composition makes it possible to obtain a composition which can overcome the above disadvantages, in particular by reducing or even substantially avoiding the undesirable formation of stains by dyeing on a non-targeted position.

[0051] wherein Ri and R2 are each independently an H, a hydroxyl, a C1-C30 alkyl, unsubstituted or substituted, a C2-C30 alkenyl, unsubstituted or substituted, a cycloalkyl, an unsaturated heterocyclic group, a heterocyclic group or an alkoxy, such as a C1-C10 alkyl or a halogen-substituted C1-C10 alkyl, preferably a C1-C6 alkyl or a halogen-substituted C1-C6 alkyl, a C3-C10 alkenyl, a C3-C10 cycloalkyl, a C3-C10 heterocyclic alkyl or a C3-C10 epoxy alkyl; and R3 is an H, or an unsubstituted or halogen-substituted C1-C10 alkyl, a C3-C10 cycloalkyl, an unsaturated C3-C10 heterocyclic group, a C3-C10 heterocyclic alkyl, or a C3-C10 alkoxy, such as a C1-C6 alkyl or a C1-C4 alkyl, preferably an H, in which the halogen is preferably an F, a Cl, or a Br.
[0052] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, Ri and R2 are each a lower alkyl group, such as a C1-C6 alkyl group, or a C1-C4 alkyl group. For example, Ri and R2 may be the same alkyl group, for example, each being a methyl, ethyl, propyl, or butyl group. According to one embodiment, R3 may be a hydrogen atom. Accordingly, examples of pyrazolidine-3,5-dione compounds of formula (1) may include l,2-dimethyl-pyrazolidine-3,5-dione, l,2-diethyl-pyrazolidine-3,5-dione, l,2-dipropyl-pyrazolidine-3,5-dione, and l,2-dibutyl-pyrazolidine-3,5-dione.
[0053] The pyrazolidine-3,5-dione compound of formula (1) according to the invention is generally present in quantities in the range of 0.001% to 25%, by weight, or 0.0001% to 10% by weight, or preferably 0.005% to 5% by weight, or in particular 0.01% to 3% by weight, or preferably 0.1% to 2% by weight, by weight relative to the total weight of the kit. Dyeing kit including component A)
[0054] The dyeing kit comprising component A) according to the present invention can be useful for dyeing for various applications, such as printing, paper, fabrics, cosmetics, medical sciences, painting, and others.
[0055] According to one embodiment of the invention, the dyeing kit according to the present invention can be used to create an undyed area / pattern or a lighter-colored area / pattern for an article, such as a fabric or paper product, to be dyed. Specifically, component A) of the dyeing kit can be used to coat an area not to be dyed or to create a desired pattern on the article. Then, the dye from the dyeing kit is applied to dye the article. By controlling the time period, a washing step is then applied to the article. As a result, the area coated by component A) is either undyed or only slightly dyed. When component A) is in a light form or has a color identical or substantially similar to the article to be dyed, the dyeing kit may include a washable dye, particularly in cases where artificial dyeing is required. For example, in order to dye a white textile or paper, but leave an area of it also white within a specific pattern—for example, a yellow-dyed textile with a white bird pattern—a person skilled in the art can first mix the washable dye with component A). [0100] The colorant composition I) may optionally include an antioxidant.
[0101] The antioxidants used may include natural exogenous phytochemical antioxidants such as phenols and carotenoids.
[0102] The antioxidant may include flavonoids. Flavonoids constitute an important class of over 5,000 polyphenolic phytochemicals with antioxidant properties that act by directly scavenging free radicals. Flavonoids have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-allergic, anti-mutagenic, anti-thrombotic, anti-tumor, and vasodilatory effects, and these modes of action can also be used to prevent, mitigate, or eliminate oxidative damage to dental instruments. Flavonoids also exhibit chelating properties with metal ions and can mitigate oxidative damage to metal ions by chelating ions. The formation and stability of the flavonoid-metal chelate depend on the function of the structure.Flavonoids with a catechol group and a hydrogen bond between the hydroxyl groups at positions 5 and 3 have chelating properties.
[0103] Vitamin C and its derivatives may be used, including ascorbic acid, erythorbic acid, or derivatives thereof, for example, sodium ascorbate / erythorbate and fat-soluble tetrahexyl decyl ester ascorbate / erythorbate, ascorbyl palmitate, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, ascorbyl glucoside, glucosamine ascorbate, ascorbyl acetate, and others. In addition, it is also possible to use plants containing a high amount of vitamin C, such as extracts of Myrciaria dubia, acerola, Emblica officinalis, and bioflavonoids from rose and citrus fruits, including water-soluble bioflavonoids such as hesperidin methyl chalcone.

These compounds can be isolated from natural sources, prepared synthetically, or blended. A tocotrienol-rich vitamin E preparation can be obtained by fractionating the vitamin E preparation to remove a portion of the biophenol and recover the more concentrated tocotrienol product. Useful tocotrienols are natural products isolated, for example, from wheat germ oil, cereal oil, or palm oil using high-performance liquid chromatography, or from barley, distillers' grains, or oats by alcohol extraction and / or molecular distillation. The term "tocotrienol" as used here includes a tocotrienol-rich fraction obtained from these natural products as well as a pure compound.
