Description

Description Title of the invention: Method for dismantling a component of carpentry, and corresponding dismantling device 1. Scope of the invention

[0001] The field of the invention is that of the dismantling, or dismantling, of elements of carpentry for the purpose of their repair or end-of-life treatment. 2. Prior art

[0002] — A joinery generally comprises components made of materials different. Thus, an entrance door, for example, may include a frame made of wood or composite material, sheet metal cladding panels covering the frame on both sides. The space between the frame and the facing panels can be filled with one or more insulating materials. A door can also to include one or more panes of glass.

[0003] = Such a door may have to be dismantled, totally or partially, at during his life for various reasons.

[0004] — In particular, it may happen, during the manufacture of a door, that it is partially damaged, for example that a facing sheet of the door is damaged. Rather than throwing away the entire door, it may be preferable to remove the damaged facing sheet metal in order to recycle and replace it by another facing sheet. This reduces waste and costs.

[0005] It may also happen that a door is partially damaged during its use- information, in particular that a facing sheet is damaged. Here again, rather than Instead of throwing away the entire door, it may be preferable for cost reasons. and environmental impact, to replace the damaged facing sheet with a plate new facing.

[0006] At the end of a door's life, it may also be appropriate to dismantle it from in order to be able to separate the components made from different materials so that they can be sent to recycling channels. Ideally, we would like to preserve the integrity of the various components, that is to say, not to destroy them or the to damage, so as to obtain, after dismantling, unmixed materials promoting their reuse and possibly components still in working order functions that can be reused.

[0007] Several methods for the partial or total dismantling of a joinery are known.

[0008] | A first method consists of crushing the joinery as a whole. The various components (mainly metals, plastics, polyurethane foam) are crushed and then separated, for example by eddy current separator, before being transported to dedicated processing channels. Where possible, materials are recycled or used for energy recovery. The expanding gases (CFCs, HCFCs) contained in polyurethane foam are recovered and treated as hazardous waste in a specific channel (very high temperature incineration). This dismantling method by crushing has the advantage of being industrially deployable and quick to set up and implement. This method, however, is only suitable for end-of-life recycling of non-ferrous materials. It cannot process all window and door frames, particularly those containing at least one pane of glass, especially if the glazing is insulating, multi-pane, laminated, or contains fiberglass, as shredders are not designed to handle these materials. Furthermore, shredding does not allow for the recycling of all materials, especially non-ferrous materials, as this type of process leads to a loss of material quality (known as "downcycling"). Indeed, the different materials shredded cannot be separated from one another after the process. Thus, for example, a pane of glass cannot be recycled into new glass, and the non-ferrous / sterile materials are, in most cases, landfilled.Furthermore, this technique is difficult to internalize within a joinery production site, particularly due to its cost, the space required for its implementation, and the noise generated during its operation. A second method, used for dismantling sandwich panels which generally have an insulating core, for example made of polyurethane foam or extruded polystyrene (XPS), housed or not in a frame, and covered on both sides by facing sheets, involves sawing the panels. A saw, which may be a band saw, mechanically cuts the different components along the horizontal and vertical axes of the panels, allowing the components to be separated. This method has the advantage of being scalable for industrial deployment and allows for the rapid separation of panel components. It also enables the separate separation and recycling of metal cladding sheets and insulation. Furthermore, it achieves a higher recycling rate than the shredding method. This method is only useful at the end of a product's life cycle for recycling all materials, but it does not allow for the reuse of components damaged during sawing. It is difficult to implement when the uprights and crossbars are made of aluminum or pultruded (fiberglass), and when the panel contains glazing, especially if the glazing is insulating, multi-pane, and / or laminated. A third method involves manually separating the different components of a piece of joinery. This method has the advantage of allowing the different components to be separated. without damaging the joinery, thus ensuring its repair during production or after-sales service. It is also easily deployable on a production site. This method, however, has the drawback of requiring operators to perform repetitive movements that can cause pain and musculoskeletal disorders. The use of tools such as hammers, chisels, and crowbars also carries a risk of accidents. Finally, this method is time-consuming and only allows for the complete or partial dismantling of about ten joinery units per day, requiring two operators. This method also carries a risk of damaging some or all of the components and preventing their subsequent reuse. Therefore, there is a need to optimize current dismantling methods. 3. Objectives of the invention The invention aims in particular to provide an effective solution to at least some of these different problems. In particular, according to at least one embodiment, an objective of the invention is to provide a joinery dismantling technique that is industrializable. Description of specific embodiments 6.1. Device for dismantling a joinery element In relation to figures 1 to 22, an example of a dismantling device for a joinery element according to the invention is presented. A joinery element 1 classically comprises a support 10 covered on at least one side, and generally on two opposite sides, by one or more facing sheets 11. A joinery element, for example, may belong to the group comprising: the doors; the windows; the portals; sandwich panels. In the case of a door or window, the support 10 may, for example, be a frame made of wood, metal, or fiberglass composite material, covered on both sides by facing sheets 11. The frame may, for example, comprise two side stiles connected by a top rail and a bottom rail. The space delimited by the frame 10 and the sheets 11 may contain one or more layers of thermal and / or acoustic insulation 12 and / or one or more panes of glass 13. In the case of sandwich panels, the core can be an insulating material, for example polyurethane foam or extruded polystyrene (XPS), housed or not within a frame, and faced on both sides with metal sheets. Such sandwich panels can be used, for example, to construct gates or cold storage room walls, interior building partitions, and for insulating building roofs. A dismantling device allows one or more sheets fixed to a support of a joinery element to be separated. As shown, such a device includes a work table 20. This work table 20 includes a base 21 on which rests a tilting platform 22 along a horizontal axis. This table 20 includes means for securing a joinery element 1 to the tabletop 22. These securing means include two fixed front stops 23, two fixed lateral stops 24, located on one side of the tabletop, and two movable lateral stops 25 located on the other side of the tabletop from the side where the stops are located. fixed lateral stops 24. Rather than lateral, the movable stops could be rear and located on the other side of the platform than the one where the fixed front stops are located 23. The movable stops 25 are translationally movable in a plane parallel to the plane of the platform 22 towards the fixed stops 24 located on the other side of the platform. The stops 23, 24, and 25 ensure the positioning and securing of a joinery element 1 on the platform 22. As will be explained in more detail later, the movable stops 25 can take: a position of disengagement (see figures 7, 10), and a position of solidarity (see figures 8, 9). When in their disengagement position, the movable stops 25 are away from the plate 22 to allow the placement of a joinery element on the plate or to allow it to be removed from it. When in their locking position, the movable stops cooperate with the support so that the joinery element is correctly positioned on the tabletop and / or locked to it. In the case where the joinery element is a door 1 whose frame 10, which constitutes a support covered on both sides by facing sheets 11, has longitudinal grooves 100 on its periphery, the stops, fixed 23 and 24 and movable 25, will be shaped to cooperate with these grooves 100 to position and fix the joinery element 1 to the plate 22. The movable stops 25 cooperate with these grooves 100 only when they are in their position of attachment so that the joinery element is correctly positioned on the plate and / or attached to it. In a variant in which the joinery element is a door with a wooden frame, the stops 23', 24', 25' will have grooves 200 suitable for inserting into the wood when the movable stops are placed in their locking position. When in their locked position, the movable stops 25 can assume: a locked state, and an unlocked state. The device includes conventional locking mechanisms such as screw-nut systems, pins, cams, etc. The stops [fixes 23, 24 can also take a locked state and an unlocked state. The movement of the movable stops from one to the other of their fixed position can, for example, be achieved by moving the stops along slides substantially perpendicular to the side of the platform towards which they can slide. The transition of fixed and movable, non-grooved stops from one of their states to the other is obtained by a translational movement of the fixed stops 23, 24 and movable stops 25 along an axis orthogonal to the platform. In the locked position, the stops act on the grooves 100 of the frame 10 to press the joinery element 1 against the platform 22. The fixed stops 23, 24 and movable stops 25 can be moved manually from one position to another and from one state to another by an operator. In an alternative, they can be moved from one position to another and from one state to another by motorized means. The device includes means for detaching a sheet metal part attached to the support of the joinery element. As will be described in more detail later, these means of separation include: means of detaching the support, from one end of the sheet metal; means of gripping the detached end of the sheet metal; means for winding the sheet metal, starting from the detached end of the sheet metal, along a winding axis, the winding axis being parallel to the platform and mobile in translation along the support. The means for detaching one end of the sheet metal from the support include means for separating an edge or corner of the sheet metal to be removed from the support. For this purpose, the detachment means include at least one wedge-shaped element 30 intended to be inserted between the end of the sheet metal to be removed and the support to separate the end of the sheet metal from the support. To detach one edge of the sheet metal, the detachment means may include a pair of wedges 30, spaced apart, the point of which is oriented towards the joinery element, and mounted at the end of pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders 31 to be moved between: a withdrawal position in which they are away from the joinery (cf. [Fig.11] a)), an attack position in which their 300 tip is inserted between the sheet metal and its support (see [Fig.11] b)), and a spacing position (cf. [Fig.11] b)) in which the corners 30 are embedded in the joinery element between the sheet metal 11 and the support 10 of so as to move the edge 111 of the support sheet away to generate a space E between them (cl, [Fig.11] c). In this case, the corners 30 are movable in translation along axes essentially perpendicular to the edge of the end of the sheet metal to be removed and parallel to the plate. To separate the edge of a sheet metal, the detachment means may alternatively comprise a single wedge 30 whose point 300 is oriented towards the joinery element, and mounted at the end of a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder 31 for to be moved between: a withdrawn position in which it is away from the carpentry workshop, an attack position (see [Fig. 11] a)) in which its tip 300 is inserted between the sheet metal 11 and its support 10, and a spacing position (see [Fig. 11] b) in which the wedge 30 is pressed in in the joinery element between the sheet metal 11 and the support 10 so as to spread apart the edge 111 of the support sheet to generate a space E between them (cf. [Fig.11] c). In this case, the wedge is mobile in translation along an axis essentially parallel to the edge of the end of the sheet metal to be removed and parallel to the plate. To spread the corner of a sheet metal, a single wedge 30 can be used and mounted to move in translation between the withdrawal, attack and spreading positions, along an axis essentially parallel or essentially perpendicular to the end of the sheet metal to be removed, and essentially parallel to the plate. The gripping means include a rotating chuck which can be implemented in several variations. According to a first variant, the gripping means comprise a rotating mandrel 40 with rods. In this case, the mandrel 40 includes at least two, and preferably three, retaining elements 41 spaced apart and parallel to the winding axis, Le, and the axis of rotation of the mandrel. These retaining elements define one or more gripping spaces within which the end (or edge 111) of the sheet metal to be removed, separated from the support, can be inserted. The retaining elements may, for example, be made of rods or tubes. The rod chuck may preferably be radially expandable. In this case, the chuck can assume an expanded and a retracted state, with the distance between the rods being greater in the expanded state than in the retracted state. According to a second variant, the gripping means include a rotating chuck with collet(s) 50. In this case, the chuck 50 includes a drum 51 on the periphery of which is mounted one or more collets 52 each comprising at least two jaws 53 suitable for gripping the spread edge 111 of the sheet 11. The collet(s) 52 may be manual but preferably motorized. In either of these two variants, the chuck is mounted to rotate freely around an axis essentially parallel to the plate. It is also mounted to move linearly along the plate. When the release means allow an edge of a sheet to be moved apart, the chuck can move linearly longitudinally (see [Fig. 19]) or diagonally (see [Fig. 20]) relative to the plate. When the release means allow a corner of a sheet to be moved apart, the chuck can move linearly diagonally (see [Fig. 20]) relative to the plate. To rotate the chuck, it includes a shaft 500 which is rotationally connected to the rotor of an electric or hydraulic motor when the chuck's movement is motorized. Alternatively, the chuck can be moved manually. In this case, the chuck shaft preferably includes handles 510 on either side. The translational movement of the chuck results from the rolling effect along the table induced by the rotation of the chuck. Thus, to ensure effective translational guidance, particularly when the movement of the chuck is motorized, the ends of the chuck axis are guided in rails placed along two opposite sides of the table, preferably its longer sides. Each mandrel includes at least one side flange 70 which acts as a stop for the sheet metal to prevent it from slipping laterally relative to the mandrel during winding. If two flanges are used, one of them may be removable to allow the sheet metal to be laterally released after winding and thus separated from the mandrel. When the joinery element is a door whose facing sheets 11 have lateral folds 112 that fit into grooves 101 in the frame uprights 10, the device includes spreader wedges 60. One spreader wedge 60 is placed on each side of the panel. They are moved along the edges of the panel by the mandrel. These spreader wedges 60 are positioned so that, during their movement, their thin end 61 encounters the folds 112 and pushes them out of the grooves 101. 6.2. Method for dismantling a joinery element An example of a method for dismantling a joinery element according to the invention is presented in relation to Figures 23 and 24. Such a method can, for example, be implemented using a dismantling device as described above. Such a process includes a step 80 of tilting the tabletop 22 of the work table 20 relative to the base 21 so as to tilt the tabletop 22 for example to about 85° relative to the horizontal. The process also includes a step 81 of transporting a joinery element 1 to be dismantled close to the work table 20. This transport can, for example, be carried out by an operator using a trolley or be automated. The process then includes an installation step 82 during which a joinery element 1 to be dismantled is placed on the platform 22. The process continues with the implementation of a tilting step 83 during which the platform 22 is pivoted around its axis to rest on the base 21. The platform 22 then extends substantially horizontally. The process then includes a step 84 of positioning the joinery element 1 to be dismantled on the platform 22. During this step, the joinery element 1 is pressed against the front fixed stops 23 and lateral stops 24. The process then includes a step 85 of securing the joinery element 1 to be dismantled to the plate 22. During this step, the lateral or rear movable stops 25, which are then in the disassembled position, are moved into their secured position against the frame of the joinery element to be dismantled. The movable stops 25 and fixed stops 23, 24 are placed in their locked state so that the joinery element is correctly positioned on the plate and held securely to the plate. Locking the movable stops consists of lowering them so that, while they cooperate with the grooves 101 of the frame, they press the joinery element 1 against the plate 22. In the variant where the stops have grooves, the locked state does not require lowering the stops. The process then includes a step 86 of separating the support 10 from the sheet metal 11 to be removed. This separation step 86 includes: a step 861 of detachment of the support 10, from one end of the sheet metal 11; a step 862 of gripping the detached end 111 of the sheet metal 11; a step 863 of winding sheet metal 11, starting from the detached end 111, along a winding axis, the winding axis being parallel to the plate 22 and moving during the winding step along the support 10. Step 861 of detachment from the support, of one end 111 of the sheet 1 consists of moving away from the support one edge of the sheet. The detachment step 861 includes the insertion of at least one wedge-forming element 30 between the end of the sheet 11 and the support 10 to move the end 111 of the sheet 11 away from the support 10. If two wedges 30 are used, this detachment step 861 consists of translating them along an axis perpendicular to the end 111 of the sheet 11 and parallel to the plate 22 to move them from their withdrawal position to their attack position in which their point 300 is inserted between the sheet 11 and its support 10 and then to their spreading position in which the wedges 30 are driven into the joinery element 1 between the sheet 11 and the support 10 so as to spread the edge 111 of the sheet away from the support to generate a space E between them. If a single wedge 30 is used, it is moved from its retraction position to its attack position and then to its spreading position by translating it along an axis parallel to the end of the sheet and parallel to the plate. In one variant, step 861 of detachment from the support, of one end of the sheet 11 consists of moving away from the support 10 an angle of the sheet 11. In this case, only one wedge 30 is used, which is moved from its retraction position to its attack position and then to its spreading position by being moved in translation along an axis perpendicular or parallel to the end of the sheet, and parallel to the plate. The corner(s) 30 are then brought back into their retraction position to leave a space E between the edge or corner of the sheet metal 11 to be removed and its support 10. According to the first variant implementing a rotating mandrel with rods 40, the gripping step 862 includes inserting the spread end 111 of the sheet metal 11 into a space located between two retaining elements 41 of the mandrel in an expanded state. In the second variant implementing a rotary chuck with collet(s) 50, the gripping step 862 consists of grasping the spread end 111 of the sheet 11 to be removed between the jaws 53 of at least one collet 52 of a chuck 50. To detach the sheet metal 11 from the support 10, step 863, which involves winding the sheet metal around the mandrel, consists of rotating the mandrel 40, 50 around its axis and simultaneously translating it longitudinally to the plate 22 if the edge of the sheet metal has been moved aside, or diagonally if a corner of the sheet metal has been moved aside. The sheet metal 11 is thus detached from the support 10 by being wound around the mandrel 40, 50. When the device uses spreader wedges 60 to dislodge the sheet metal folds 112 from the grooves 101 of the frame 10, the movement of the mandrel 40, 50 along the joinery element 1 is accompanied by the interaction of the spreader wedges 60 and the folds 112 of the sheet metal 11 to extract them from the grooves 101. The process then includes a step 87 of dissociating the mandrel 40, 50 from the sheet metal 11 wound around the mandrel 40, 50. In the case of a mandrel with rods 40, this step includes lateral clearance of the sheet metal 11 wound around the mandrel 40 from the mandrel 40. If the mandrel is expandable, it will be placed in its retracted state before lateral clearance of the sheet metal. This clearance is achieved by laterally translating the sheet metal 11 wound around the mandrel 40 along its axis of rotation so as to free the wound sheet metal 11 from the mandrel 40, with, where applicable, prior removal of the removable side flange 70. In the case of a collet chuck 50, a preliminary step of loosening the jaws 53 is implemented, with, where appropriate, prior removal of the removable side flange 70. In one variant, the dissociation step 87 includes a step of unwinding the sheet 11 wound around the mandrel 40, 50. This step is obtained by driving in rotation and translation of mandrel 40, 50 in the opposite direction to that which led to the winding of the sheet 11. The process then includes a step 88 of recovering the sheet metal 11 detached from the support 10. The face of the removed sheets 11, initially oriented towards the support 10, can be brushed to remove residues of glue and / or insulating materials during an optional cleaning step 89. The process then includes a step 90 of storing the detached sheets 11 in a dedicated area such as a specific skip for their processing and recovery, including the recycling of the material constituting them (step 91). The process also includes a step 92 of disengaging the joinery element | from the plate 22 during which the movable stops 25 and fixed stops 23, 24 are placed in their unlocked state and the movable stops in their disengaging position. When it is desired to detach a sheet metal 11 located on the other side of the support 10, the process includes a step 93 of turning the joinery element 1 over on the platform 22. This turning can be carried out manually or automatically. The steps of the process described previously are then implemented to detach the other sheet metal 11 from the support 10. The process also includes a step 94 of recovering the joinery element without the removed sheet metal 11. The joinery element from which one or two facing sheets have been removed can, after recovery step 94, benefit from a maintenance step 95 during which the removed facing sheet(s) are replaced with new sheets. Alternatively, the joinery element | from which the facing sheet(s) 11 have been removed can, if it is not possible to restore it through maintenance, be completely dismantled. In this case, the process includes a step 96 of manual separation of the various components of the joinery element. In particular, the profiles constituting the frame, such as wood, pultruded, PVC, or aluminum profiles, thermal and / or acoustic insulation, glazing, and possibly the hardware (hinges, locks, etc.) are removed from the joinery element 1 and recovered (recovery steps 97). A step 98 of checking the condition of the disassembled components is implemented to verify whether these components are in new condition or not. Components not in new condition are stored (storage step 980) in dedicated areas such as various skips for processing and recovery (step 981), including the recycling of the material they are made of. The components in new condition are stored (step 982) for reuse (step 983). The technique according to the invention can be implemented in production to detach damaged or defective components from a joinery element, without de- to deteriorate its other components, to allow the replacement of damaged or defective components and to produce a new joinery element while retaining the others and revaluing the defective components. The technique according to the invention can be implemented in after-sales service to repair a damaged joinery element by replacing the defective components rather than throwing it away and to revalue the defective components. The technique according to the invention can be implemented at the end of life to separate the different components of a joinery element so as to recover them through recycling or reuse.
