Description

Title of the invention: COSMETIC CUP AND COSMETIC CONTAINER technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to a cosmetic cup and a cosmetic container, and in particular, relates to a cosmetic cup capable of storing cosmetic products of different capacities and a cosmetic container that stores the cosmetic cup. Technical background

[0002] For example, under one of the cosmetic containers for eyeshadow, lipstick, face colors, etc., the cosmetic containers are configured to store a plurality of cosmetic products of different colors in one cosmetic container, the cosmetic containers being formed in a size that is easy to transport, are used in large numbers (for example, patent literature 1).

[0003] In such cosmetic containers in which a plurality of cosmetic products of different colors are stored, it is often observed that the user more frequently uses a cosmetic product of their favorite color from among the stored cosmetic products.

[0004] Citation list

[0005] Patent literature 1: published unexamined Japanese patent application 2012-10928. Summary

[0006] However, not only cosmetic products of a color that are consumed in large quantities, but also cosmetic products of a color that a user needs even in small quantities, are stored in cosmetic containers, and the capacity of a cosmetic cup used as a base is sometimes too long to use. Even for cosmetic products of such a color, the user has no other option than to use the cosmetic cup of the capacity used as a base.

[0007] Taking this problem into consideration, the present invention proposes a cosmetic cup with which a user can more freely choose the capacity of a cosmetic product, and a cosmetic container that stores the cosmetic cup.

[0008] In order to solve the problem described above, in one aspect of this disclosure, a cosmetic cup is configured such that a hollowed-out portion on the front surface side capable of storing a cosmetic product is formed on one side of the front surface, and a hollowed-out portion on the rear surface side capable of storing a product cosmetic is also formed on one side of the rear surface, the hollowed part of the front surface side and the hollowed part of the rear surface side are formed in positions in which the hollowed parts are not brought into contact with each other and so that the storage quantities are different from each other, and a cosmetic product is stored only in one of the hollowed part of the front surface side or the hollowed part of the rear surface side.

[0009] According to this feature, it is possible to choose one of the hollowed-out sections of varying capacities formed on the front and rear surfaces to store the cosmetic product, and a user can select a desired capacity. This allows for greater freedom in choosing the cosmetic product's capacity. Furthermore, for a manufacturer, there is no need to produce as many cosmetic cups of different capacities as there are units, thus reducing production costs.

[0010] Furthermore, in one aspect, the cosmetic cup is configured by having a border portion which divides, in a non-uniform manner, a volume in two, so that the hollowed portion on the front surface side is formed on the front surface side of one region with the border portion serving as a border, and the hollowed portion on the back surface side is formed on the back surface side of the other region with the border portion serving as a border.

[0011] Moreover, in one aspect, the cosmetic cup is configured so that engagement parts are formed on two lateral surfaces in central positions in the height direction and even in a state in which the front surface is a top surface, or even in a state in which the rear surface is a top surface, the engagement part is engaged with an engagement part in the horizontal direction.

[0012] Furthermore, in one aspect of this disclosure, one or two or more of said cosmetic cups are intended to be stored in an attachable and detachable manner in a container body in which a lid is opened and closed by sliding.

[0013] Furthermore, in one aspect of the present disclosure, a lateral surface provided in the direction of sliding of the lid among the lateral surfaces of the container body is open, and the cosmetic cup is stored in an attachable and detachable manner by sliding through the open lateral surface.

[0014] Furthermore, in one aspect of the present disclosure, in a fully open state of the lid, at least a portion of the rear surface side of the recessed portion of the front surface side in which the cosmetic product is stored, or the front surface side of the recessed portion of the rear surface side in which the cosmetic product is stored, is covered by the lid.

[0015] Furthermore, in one aspect of this disclosure, a cosmetic container comprising a cosmetic cup in which a recessed portion on the front surface for storing a cosmetic product is formed on one front surface, a recessed portion on the rear surface for storing a cosmetic product is also formed on one rear surface, the recessed portion on the front surface and the recessed portion on the rear surface are formed in positions in which the recessed portions are not brought into contact with each other and such that the storage quantities are different from each other, and a cosmetic product is stored only in one of the recessed portion on the front surface or the recessed portion on the rear surface that is arranged towards the upper side, a container body in which the cosmetic cup is stored, and a slidingly engaged lid, attachable and detachable with the container body, the lid being intended to open and close the container body, wherein in a fully open state, the lid is provided to cover at least a portion of the rear surface side of the recessed portion of the front surface side arranged towards the bottom, or the front surface side of the recessed portion of the rear surface side arranged towards the bottom, of the cosmetic cup stored in the container body.

[0016] As is clear from the above description, it is possible to provide a cosmetic cup with which the capacity of a cosmetic product can be chosen more freely, and a cosmetic container that stores the cosmetic cup. Brief description of the figures

[0028] A preferred embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to the drawings. The embodiment does not limit the invention but represents an example. Not all features and combinations of features described in the embodiment are necessarily essential to the invention. Furthermore, in the following description of the embodiment and the modified examples, the same configurations have the same reference numerals, and recurring descriptions are appropriately omitted.

[0029] (Method of embodiment)

[0030] Figures IA and IB are perspective views of a cosmetic container 1 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. Figure IA illustrates a state in which the cosmetic container 1 is closed. [Fig. 1B] illustrates a state in which the cosmetic container 1 is open.

[0031] The cosmetic container 1 is a cosmetic container capable of storing cosmetic products such as eyeshadow, lipstick, and face paint, and an applicator that applies the cosmetic products simultaneously. As illustrated in Figures IA and IB, the cosmetic container 1 comprises a plurality of cosmetic cups (30, 30, 30') that store the cosmetic products in the hollowed-out portions, a container body 20 in which the cosmetic cups (30, 30, 30') are arranged in an attachable and detachable manner, and a lid 10 that is slidably attached, attachable, and detachable to the container body 20 and opens and closes the container body 20.

[0032] An applicator storage part 23 recessed in a rectangular shape is formed in a front lateral region of the upper surface of the container body 20 and the applicator which applies the cosmetic products as a tip applicator and / or various brushes, is stored in the applicator storage part.

[0033] Regarding the cosmetic cups (30, 30, 30'), two cosmetic cups 30 with a relatively large storage capacity for the cosmetic product and one cosmetic cup 30' with a relatively small storage capacity for the cosmetic product, i.e., three cosmetic cups are used in total, and stored to form a line in the width direction of the container body 20. Although this will be described later, the cosmetic cups 30 are reversible, and the cosmetic cups 30 and the cosmetic cup 30' are the same, only their states differ. Therefore, hereafter, except where a cosmetic cup in a particular state is specified, they will be collectively referred to as cosmetic cups 30.

[0034] The lid 10 is a covering element that covers an upper surface of the container body 20 and is arranged on the upper surface of the container body 20 and engaged with the container body 20 by sliding it forward and backward. By sliding the lid 10 forward and backward, the cosmetic container 1 is opened and closed.

[0035] Fig. 2 is an exploded top perspective view of the cosmetic container 1 and mainly illustrates the parts constituting the cosmetic container 1. Fig. 3 is an exploded bottom perspective view of the cosmetic container 1 and mainly illustrates the rear surface side of the constituent parts. Fig. 4A is a plan view of the cosmetic container 1. Fig. 4B is a side view of the cosmetic container 1. Fig. 4C is a cross-sectional view taken along line IV(C)-IV(C) of Fig. 4A. Fig. 4D is a cross-sectional view taken along line IV(D)-IV(D) of Fig. 4A.

[0036] As illustrated in Figures 2 to 4D, the container body 20 comprises left and right container side surfaces 51,51, a container front surface 52, a container bottom surface 54 and a central wall surface 53 designed to extend in the width direction to separate a region into a front region and a rear region, the surfaces being respectively configured by substantially flat plates, and a rear surface and the top surface are open.

[0037] The container body 20 has two spaces comprising an applicator storage part 23 configured by the left and right container side surfaces 51, 51, the front container surface 52, the bottom container surface 54, and the central wall surface 53 and a cosmetic product storage part 56 configured by the left and right container side surfaces 51, 51, the central wall surface 53 and the bottom container surface 54.

[0038] The applicator storage part 23 constitutes the front region of the container body 20 and as described above, the applicator which applies the cosmetic products is stored in the applicator storage part 23.

[0039] In the cosmetic product storage portion 56, which forms the rear region of the container body 20, the partition walls 55, 55 extending in the front and rear directions are provided to divide the cosmetic product storage portion 56 at equal intervals in the width direction. In this embodiment, the cosmetic product storage portion 56 is divided equally into three parts in the width direction by the two partition walls 55, 55, and the cosmetic cups 30 are stored respectively in the three separate spaces.

[0040] On the inner surfaces of the container's lateral surfaces 51, 51 and the partition walls 55, 55 that form the cosmetic product storage portion 56, grooves for engaging the cosmetic cup 25 extending horizontally (front and rear) are formed in the center in the vertical direction. On the left and right lateral surfaces of each of the cosmetic cups 30, protruding portions of the cosmetic cup 31 are formed to engage with the grooves for engaging the cosmetic cup 25. The cosmetic cup 30 is inserted into the cosmetic product storage portion 56 from the rear side of the open cosmetic product storage portion 56, and stored in the container body 20 by engaging the protruding portions of the cosmetic cup 31 with the grooves for engaging the cosmetic cup 25 and sliding forward.

[0041] The cover 10 is configured by a cover ceiling surface 18, cover side surfaces 12, 12 and a cover rear surface 19. In a lower edge portion of each of the cover side surfaces 12, 12, an internal flange portion 13 is formed towards the inside. In the internal flange portion 13, A cutout 14 is provided in a position closer to the front side in the longitudinal direction (front and rear). Hereinafter, a front lateral portion of the internal flange portion 13 divided by the cutout 14 is designated as a cover engagement projection 15. The cover engagement projection 15 has a greater inward projection than a rear lateral portion of the internal flange portion 13 divided by the cutout 14.

[0042] On the external surfaces of the container's lateral surfaces 51, 51 of the container body 20, the lid engagement grooves 21, with which the internal flange portions 13 can engage, are provided along their entire length in the longitudinal direction (front and rear). A cutout 22 passing through an upper surface is formed in each of the lid engagement grooves 21. Among an upper lateral portion of the container's lateral surface 51 constituting the lid engagement groove 21, a rear lateral portion divided by the cutout 22 is designated as a projecting container engagement portion 24.

[0043] In a case where the lid 10 is engaged with the container body 20, the protruding lid engagement parts 15 are inserted from the upper side through the cutouts 22 of the container body 20. At that time, the protruding container engagement parts 24 of the container body 20 are also provided to be inserted through the cutouts 14 provided in the internal flange parts 13. Thus, the internal flange parts 13 are slidably engaged with the lid engagement grooves 21, and the lid 10 is engaged with the container body 20 in an attachable, detachable and slidable manner.

[0044] A stop 27 is provided in a rear end portion of each of the lid engagement grooves 21. Even when the lid 10 slides towards the rear end portions in the lid engagement grooves 21, the protruding lid engagement portions 15 abut against the stops 27. Thus, the lid 10 does not fall from the container body 20. Furthermore, when the lid 10 is attached to the container body 20, with respect to the cosmetic cups 30 stored in the container body 20, the rear surfaces of the cosmetic cups 30 also abut against an internal surface of the rear surface of the lid 19 of the lid 10. Thus, the cosmetic cups 30 also do not fall from the container body 20.

[0045] In a case where the lid 10 is detached from the container body 20, it is possible to detach the lid 10 by aligning the protruding parts of the lid gripping mechanism 15 with the cutouts 22 of the container body 20 and pulling them upwards and inserting them through these cutouts. When the lid 10 is detached from the container body 20, the cosmetic cups 30 can be attached to and detached from the container body 20.

[0046] On an internal surface of each of the internal flange parts 13, a projection 17 is formed in a position close to the rear surface of the lid 19 and separated from the rear surface of the lid 19 (see [Fig. 3]). When a user closes the lid 10, the container body 20 must be displaced relatively while passing over the projections 17. Thus, the lid 10 is closed with a clicking sensation as it passes over the projections 17.

[0047] A smoothly hollowed recess 11 is formed in the center of a front edge of the lid ceiling surface 18 of the lid 10. The user can open the cosmetic container 1 by placing a finger on the recess 11, pushing the lid 10 and sliding the lid 10 backwards.

[0048] The rear surface of the lid 19 abuts against a rear surface of the bottom surface of the container 54 of the container body 20 and is closed. A bottom surface of the rear surface of the lid 19 is configured to be substantially flush with a bottom surface of the bottom surface of the container 54. Therefore, in a state in which the cosmetic container 1 is mounted while open, the bottom surface of the rear surface of the lid 19 rests on a support surface and supports the lid 10, in order to prevent the cosmetic container 1 from tilting, and the application of a load on a leading end portion of the lid 10 and the subsequent breakage of the protruding lid engagement parts 15 that lock the lid 10.

[0049] (Cosmetic cup)

[0050] The cosmetic cup 30 will be described in detail with reference to Figures 5A to 5C. Figures 5A to 5C illustrate the cosmetic cup 30. [Fig. 5A] illustrates the front surface side of the cosmetic cup 30. [Fig. 5B] illustrates the cosmetic cup 30 in a state in which the rear and front are reversed by rotating 180 degrees around the axis of the front and rear direction from the state of [Fig. 5A], i.e., the rear surface side of the cosmetic cup 30. [Fig. 5C] illustrates a cross-sectional view of the cosmetic cup.

[0051] As illustrated in Figures 5A to 5C, the cosmetic cup 30 has an external shape of a flat rectangular parallelepiped. The protruding parts of the cosmetic cup 31 are provided on the left and right lateral surfaces of the cosmetic cup 30 in the horizontal mid-height positions, substantially along the entire length in the longitudinal direction (front and rear).

[0052] On an upper surface 38 of the cosmetic cup 30, a recessed portion of the rectangular front surface 33 is formed in a region approximately two-thirds of the way up the upper surface 38 closer to the front side. Furthermore, on a bottom surface 39 of the In the cosmetic cup 30, a rectangular recessed portion on the rear surface side 34 is formed in a region approximately one-third of the way along the bottom surface 39, closer to the rear side. The recessed portion on the front surface side 33 and the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34 are positioned so that the recessed portions do not come into contact with each other.

[0053] As illustrated in [Fig. 5C], a border portion 35 existing between the recessed portion on the front surface side 33 and the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34 and extending in the width direction, in which neither the recessed portion on the front surface side 33 nor the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34 is provided, separates the recessed portion on the front surface side 33 and the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34 as a separation. By forming the recessed portion on the front surface side 33 and the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34, the thicknesses of both the six surfaces constituting the cosmetic cup 30 and the border portion 35 are substantially fixed.

[0054] The recessed portion on the front surface side 33 and the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34 are provided for storing the cosmetic product. The cosmetic cup 30 is stored in the container body 20 while the cosmetic product is stored in one of the recessed portion on the front surface side 33 and the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34, and the storage recessed portion is placed on the upper surface side and on the front side.

[0055] In this way, the cosmetic cup 30 is reversible so that the cosmetic cup 30 can also be used by inverting it, and both the front and rear surface sides can be used. The rim portion 35 provided to separate the cosmetic cup 30 into a front and a rear region is not located at the center of the front and rear directions but closer to the front or rear side of the cosmetic cup 30, and divides, in a non-uniform manner, an external rectangular shape, in other words, a volume of the cosmetic cup 30 in two. The hollowed portion of the front surface side 33 and the hollowed portion of the rear surface side 34 are formed to have different capacities. The cosmetic product is loaded into each of the recessed portion on the front surface side 33 or the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34, i.e., the one in which the recessed portion is arranged towards the upper side.

[0056] The protruding parts of the cosmetic cup 31 are provided at central heights on the lateral surfaces of the cosmetic cup 30. Even when the front and rear of the cosmetic cup 30 are rotated, the protruding parts of the cosmetic cup 31 can engage with the engagement grooves of the cosmetic cup 25. That is to say, even when the front surface side where the hollowed part of the front surface side 33 is provided, serves as the upper side, or even when the rear and front are turned around, and the rear surface side where the hollowed part of the rear surface side 34 is provided, serves as the upper side, the cosmetic cup 30 is stored in the container body 20 without any problem.

[0057] In a region on the upper surface 38 of the cosmetic cup 30 where the recessed portion on the front surface side 33 is not provided, and in a region on the bottom surface 39 of the cosmetic cup 30 where the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34 is not provided, a plurality of (in this embodiment, three) linear projecting portions 32, slightly projecting in linear shapes, are provided. The linear projecting portions 32 are formed to extend in the width direction orthogonal to the sliding direction of the cosmetic cup 30 and assist the sliding of the cosmetic cup 30 so that when the cosmetic cup 30 is stored in the container body 20, the cosmetic cup 30 is brought into contact with the bottom surface 54 of the container body 20 and smoothly stored in the cosmetic product storage portion 56.In a case where there are no linear protruding parts 32, and when the cosmetic cup 30 is stored, the cosmetic cup 30 and the container body 20 come into surface contact with each other, the friction is increased, which does not allow the cosmetic cup 30 to be stored smoothly in the cosmetic product storage part 56. Thanks to the slightly protruding linear protruding parts 32, the cosmetic cup 30 is pushed into the cosmetic product storage part 56 with slight force.

[0058] Furthermore, both the protruding parts of the cosmetic cup 31 and the gripping grooves of the cosmetic cup 25 are shaped so that a cross-section becomes an arc shape. Thus, friction between the protruding parts of the cosmetic cup 31 and the gripping grooves of the cosmetic cup 25 is reduced, and the cosmetic cup 30 is stored smoothly in the cosmetic product storage section 56.

[0059] The cosmetic cup 30 can be used as a cosmetic cup with different capacities on either the rear or front surface. Using this configuration, the user can choose the capacity on the rear or front surface for each cosmetic product. For example, in the cosmetic container 1 shown in Figures IA and IB, the cosmetic cups 30, in which the cosmetic product is stored in the recessed portion of the front surface 33, and the cosmetic cup 30', in which the cosmetic product is stored in the recessed portion of the rear surface 34—that is, the cosmetic cup 30 in a state where the rear and front are reversed—are stored in the container body 20. Cosmetic products of different capacities can be stored in the container body 20 thanks to the cups. 30 cosmetics without any problem. For a manufacturer supplying cosmetic products, there is also no need to manufacture a cosmetic cup for each capacity, and it is possible to eliminate production costs.

[0060] When the cosmetic cup 30 is stored in the container body 20 and the lid 10 is engaged, at least a portion of the area of the cosmetic cup 30 where the recessed section is not present is covered by the lid 10. Thus, the cosmetic container 1, in which the lid 10 slides open and closed, is a preferable method for storing the cosmetic cup 30. This will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. [Fig. 6] illustrates a state in which the three cosmetic cups 30 are stored in the container body 20. The dashed lines represent the lid 10 in a fully open state. The cosmetic container 1 in a fully open state, as illustrated in [Fig. 1B], should also be referenced.

[0061] A rear lateral portion of the upper surface 38 of the cosmetic cup 30 where the recessed portion of the front surface side 33 is not formed, i.e., the front surface side of the recessed portion of the rear surface side 34 is provided as a rear lateral portion of the front surface 38a. A front lateral portion of the bottom surface 39 of the cosmetic cup 30 where the recessed portion of the rear surface side 34 is not formed, i.e., the rear surface side of the recessed portion of the front surface side 33 is provided as a front lateral portion of the rear surface 39a.

[0062] As illustrated in [Fig. 6], the two cosmetic cups 30, in which the recessed portion of the front surface 33 is positioned facing upwards, are stored so that the recessed portion of the front surface 33 is directed forwards, and the rear lateral portion of the front surface 38a is directed backwards. The cosmetic cup 30', in which the recessed portion of the rear surface 34 is positioned facing upwards, is rotated 180 degrees and is stored with the recessed portion of the rear surface 34 directed forwards, and the front lateral portion of the rear surface 39a directed backwards.

[0063] The lid 10 is engaged with the container body 20 by sliding in the front and rear directions. Even when the lid 10 is in a fully open position, a portion of the lid 10 covers a rear side portion of the container body 20. Thus, a portion of the cosmetic cup 30 arranged on the rear side is covered and concealed by the lid 10. That is to say, in a state where they are stored in the container body 20, the rear side portion of the front surface 38a and the front side portion of the rear surface 39a are largely covered by the lid 10.

[0064] A large part of the rear lateral portion of the front surface 38a serving as the front surface side of the recessed portion of the rear surface side 34 which is arranged in The bottom surface of the cosmetic cup 30 and a large portion of the front side portion of the rear surface 39a, which serves as the rear side of the recessed portion of the front side 33 arranged as the bottom surface of the cosmetic cup 30', are respectively covered by the lid 10 even when the cosmetic container 1 is in a fully open state. The rear side portion of the front surface 38a and the front side portion of the rear surface 39a are respectively the parts where the linear protrusions 32 are formed, and as illustrated in [Fig. 1B], the linear protrusions 32 are not exposed but covered by the lid 10 even when the cosmetic container 1 is in a fully open state.

[0065] If the cosmetic cup 30 is stored in a cosmetic container with a hinged lid that opens and closes by turning, such as a compact, a portion where a cosmetic product is not stored is also completely exposed when the lid is fully open. In the cosmetic container 1, where the lid 10 opens and closes by sliding, it is possible to conceal the rear side portion with front surface 38a and the front side portion with rear surface 39a, which are the parts of the cosmetic cup 30 where the cosmetic product is not stored. With the cosmetic container 1 of a type in which opening and closing are achieved by sliding, it is possible to arrange the portion of the cosmetic cup 30 where the cosmetic product is not stored in a discreet position and conceal this portion with the lid 10.Cosmetic container 1 is a preferable way to store cosmetic cup 30.

[0066] (Modified examples)

[0067] The configuration of this disclosure is not limited to the above description. Modified examples will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The same configurations have the same reference numerals, and recurring descriptions are appropriately omitted. Figures 7A to 7C illustrate a second cosmetic cup 130 serving as a modified example of the cosmetic cup 30.

[0068] As illustrated in Figures 7A to 7C, the second cosmetic cup 130 is a cosmetic cup having an external shape that is substantially twice the width of the cosmetic cup 30. Similar to the cosmetic cup 30, a hollowed portion on the front surface side 133 is formed on a top surface 38 and a hollowed portion on the rear surface side 134, having a different size than the hollowed portion on the front surface side 133, is formed on a bottom surface 39. The widths of the hollowed portion on the front surface side 133 and the hollowed portion on the rear surface side 134 are formed to be twice the widths of the hollowed portion on the front surface side 33 and the hollowed portion on the rear surface side 34. Therefore, the storage capacity of both the rear and front surfaces of the second cosmetic cup 130 is substantially double that of the rear and front surfaces of the cosmetic cup 30. The linear protruding portions 32 formed on the upper surface 38 and the bottom surface 39 are also formed in two separate rows in the width direction. Similar to the cosmetic cup 30, the second cosmetic cup 130 can store a cosmetic product in both the recessed portion of the front surface 133 and the recessed portion of the rear surface 134 and is reversible so that both the rear and front surfaces can be used.

[0069] Figures 8A and 8B are perspective views of a cosmetic container 101 that stores the second cosmetic cup 130. [Fig. 8A] illustrates a state in which the cosmetic container 101 is closed. [Fig. 8B] illustrates a state in which the cosmetic container 101 is open. Figures 8A and 8B correspond to Figures IA and IB. [Fig. 9] is an exploded top perspective view of the cosmetic container 101. [Fig. 9] corresponds to [Fig. 2].

[0070] As illustrated in Figures 8A and 8B and [Fig.9], the cosmetic container 101 stores two cosmetic cups of the cosmetic cup 30 and the second cosmetic cup 130 in a cosmetic product storage part 56. In the cosmetic product storage part 56 of the cosmetic container 101, there is only one partition wall 55 on one side, and the second cosmetic cup 130 is stored in a space for the two cosmetic cups 30.

[0071] The cosmetic cup 30 is stored in a container body 120 while storing the cosmetic product in one of the hollowed portion on the front surface side 33 or the hollowed portion on the rear surface side 34. The second cosmetic cup 130 is also stored in the container body 120 while storing the cosmetic product in one of the hollowed portion on the front surface side 133 or the hollowed portion on the rear surface side 134. In both the cosmetic cup 30 and the second cosmetic cup 130 illustrated in Figures 8A and 8B and 9, the hollowed portion on the front surface side 33 and the hollowed portion on the front surface side 133 serve as upper surfaces. However, a user may also choose to have the cosmetic product stored in the hollowed-out part on the rear surface side 34 in the cosmetic cup 30 and the cosmetic product stored in the hollowed-out part on the front surface side 133 in the second cosmetic cup 130.

[0072] In this way, the second cosmetic cup 130, having a double width, can be used. Thus, the number of choices for a cosmetic product capacity that the user can choose is increased, and the number of possible combinations between the The color and capacity of the cosmetic product are also increased. The user can choose each cosmetic product in their desired color and capacity.

[0073] Figures 10A and 10B illustrate further modified examples. As shown in [Fig. 1OA], a third cosmetic cup 230 with a width three times that of the cosmetic cup 30 can be used. In this case, only one third cosmetic cup 230 with a width three times that of the cosmetic cup 30 is stored in a cosmetic product storage area 56, which does not have a partition wall 55. Similarly, a fourth cosmetic cup 330 with a width 1.5 times that of the cosmetic cup 30 shown in [Fig. 1OB] can be used. In this case, two fourth cosmetic cups 330 with a width 1.5 times that of the cosmetic cup 30 are stored in a cosmetic product storage area 56.

[0074] In addition, there is also a preferable mode which lies in the fact that, in the container body 20, the separating wall 55 is not provided and the cosmetic cups are inserted into the cosmetic product storage part 56 as they are.

[0075] In the present embodiment, the rim portion 35 of the cosmetic cup 30 is positioned such that the volume of the cosmetic cup 30 is divided 1:2 in the front and rear directions. The present invention is not limited to this; the rim portion 35 may be arranged in a position closer to the front or rear side, provided that the ratio of the capacities between the recessed portion on the front surface side 33 and the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34 is not 1:1. Furthermore, the shape of the rim portion 35 is not limited to a straight line but may be wavy or inclined. The depths of the recessed portion on the front surface side 33 and the recessed portion on the rear surface side 34 may be different. The shapes of the hollowed portion on the front surface side 33 and the hollowed portion on the rear surface side 34 are not limited to a rectangular shape but may be a circle, or a regular polygon, etc., and moreover, the shapes may not be substantially the same, but for example, one of the shapes may be a rectangular shape and the other shape may be a circle.

[0076] The preferred embodiment of the present invention and modified examples are described above. Furthermore, the embodiment described above is an example of the present invention, and it is possible to combine those based on the knowledge of a person skilled in the art; such embodiments are also included within the scope of the present invention.
