Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Container for a cosmetic product Field of invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a container for a cosmetic product.
[0002] In particular, it refers to a container of a cosmetic product such as a cream, a powder (for example, face powder) and the like, even medical. State of the art
[0003] Different types of container are known, formed by a pot, inside which is provided, securely fixed to the opening of the pot, a plastic container in which a cosmetic substance is housed.
[0004] The pot normally provides a thread for coupling with a cap which allows the container to be hermetically sealed when not in use.
[0005] Known pots are not environmentally friendly, since it is impossible (or very difficult) to separate the container inside the pot. If the pot is made from glass, this is a big problem in that it is impossible to make a correct differentiation of the container.
[0006] Furthermore, when the substance contained inside the container is exhausted, the container must be discarded. Summary of the invention
[0007] The object of the present invention is to provide a container which is improved over the known art.
[0008] Another object of the invention is to provide a container which is more ecological than those which are known.
[0009] This and other aims are achieved by a container produced in accordance with the technical teachings of the appended claims.
[0010] Advantageously, the container of the present invention is refillable. Brief description of the drawings
[0011] Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge more clearly from the description of a preferred, non-exclusive embodiment of the container, illustrated by way of example and therefore non-limiting in the attached drawings, in which:

[0021] [Fig. 10] is a simplified section taken on line XX of [Fig.9]. Detailed description of the invention
[0022] With reference to the figures cited, a container of a cosmetic product is shown, indicated, as a whole, by the reference number 1.
[0023] The product or substance present in the container may be of any type, preferably of the cosmetic type such as a cream, a makeup powder (for example, a face powder), etc., a hair gel, an anti-wrinkle cream, a moisturizer, etc.
[0024] In this text, the term cosmetic product also means a product with possible medical properties.
[0025] The container 1 comprises a pot 2 and a lid 3 ([Fig.5]).
[0026] Pot 2 is made from glass.
[0027] Of course, the pot 2 can be decorated or printed on one or both surfaces, its internal and / or external surface by means of conventional techniques.
[0028] Between the pot 2 and the cover 3, means 4A, 4B for reciprocal coupling are provided.
[0029] For example, such means may provide a thread 4A produced on the pot 2 configured to engage with an opposing thread 4B produced on the cover 3. But it is also possible to envisage a coupling of another type, for example simply by snap-fastening.
[0030] Between the lid 3 and the pot 2, a disc with a seal function can be provided, for example made of paper or HDPE, LDPE, AL, PP. The disc 10 can rest on a flange 5A of the container 5, which will be described below.
[0031] As already mentioned, the container 1 comprises a receptacle positioned at least partially inside the pot 2. Specifically, the major portion of the receptacle is positioned inside a cavity of the pot 2.
[0032] The container 5, in an embodiment not shown, may provide more than one compartment in its interior. For example, a diametrical partition may be provided which divides the cavity of the container into two mutually isolated compartments.
[0033] It is possible to provide more than one partition, for example two (placed in a cross), three, placed along the diagonals of a hexagon, or the partitions can be "radial" and arranged for example in a star, in order to form, between the two partitions bordering radials, a containment compartment isolated from the others.
[0034] The container 5 is made from plastic material, for example by injection molding. Suitable plastic materials may include one or more of the following: PP, HDPE, LDPE, PET, PETG.
[0035] The pot 2 comprises, in correspondence with its opening 2A, at least one tooth 6, 6A, 6B projecting laterally (and perimetrically) relative to said opening 2A.
[0036] In the embodiment of the figures, pages 1 and 2 of the drawings, the tooth is a continuous half-ring which surrounds, externally, the wall of the pot 2 which defines the opening 2A. This is adjacent to a free edge of the pot 2.
[0037] The tooth is advantageously closer to the free edge compared to the coupling means 4A mentioned with the cover 3.
[0038] The container 5 comprises a flange 5A supported on a free end of the opening 2A of the container. More specifically, the flange 5A is supported on the free end of the wall of the pot 2 which defines the opening 2A.
[0039] Advantageously, in plan, the flange can project slightly relative to the perimeter of the opening 2A. The projection of the flange 5A relative to the wall which defines the opening 2A is clearly highlighted in [Fig.5].
[0040] From the flange 5A, extends, in the direction substantially perpendicular to the flange itself, at least one skirt 7A, 7B provided with at least one opposing tooth 8 which engages, by undercutting, with said at least one tooth 6.
[0041] The skirt 7A, 7B is interrupted, from the perimeter point of view, in at least one part, to expose at least one part of the flange 5A (which may project, from the perimeter point of view, from the free edge of the wall which defines the opening of the container).
[0042] In this way, it is easier for a user to remove the container 5 from the pot 2.
[0043] The user can, with the fingers (for example by introducing them into the area indicated by arrow F, when the container is hooked to pot 2), hook the exposed part of flange 5A and pull container 5, thus separating it from pot 2.
[0044] The separation takes place by releasing tooth 6 from the opposing tooth(s) 8.
[0045] In this way, it is possible to make a correct differentiation between the pot and the container (e.g. separate the plastic from the glass). Or it is possible to obtain a new internal container 5 (full of product) and reposition it inside the pot 2, thus reusing the container 1.
[0046] The container 5 comprises a film 9 which can be removed at first use, which hermetically seals the container itself.
[0047] The film 9 is also useful for isolating the contents of a possible refill container 5.
[0048] Of course, as an alternative to the film 9, it is possible to provide any other removable closure means, such as for example a rigid cap. airtight, etc.
[0049] As seen in [Fig.7], the skirt 7A, 7B may be interrupted, from the perimeter point of view, in more than one position, for example in at least two parts, in order to define at least a first 7A and a second wall 7B angularly spaced along the perimeter of the skirt itself.
[0050] Of course, it is also possible to provide a different number of “interruptions” of the skirt, such as for example three (thus being the origin of three walls), four interruptions (being the origin of four walls), and so on.
[0051] It is useful that the angular distance between one wall of the skirt and the one which accompanies it, is large enough to be able to conveniently introduce either a thumb (to push the container from the pot) or three fingers (to remove the container from the pot).
[0052] Advantageously, as seen in [Fig.7], the first and second walls 7A, 7B are symmetrical with respect to the center C of the container and angularly spaced apart at a first angle a of between 30 and 170°, preferably of between 80 and 110°, preferably 85°.
[0053] Such a configuration can be effective in case of an equal number of interruptions on the skirt.
[0054] In the case of a different number of interruptions on the skirt 6, the walls (for example three, for three interruptions) are preferably arranged in an organized manner, for example with a true center at the vertices of an equilateral triangle, or of a pentagon (in the case of five walls and 5 interruptions) and so on.
[0055] According to one aspect of the invention, specifically suitable for a glass pot 2, the tooth 6 extends along the entire perimeter of the opening 2A of the pot 2.
[0056] Alternatively, as seen in the figures, page 3 of the drawings, the tooth 6 comprises at least a first 6A and a second peripheral segment 6B mutually spaced apart. This configuration is more expensive, if it is produced on a glass pot 2, but can be easily obtained in the case of a plastic pot 2.
[0057] In this case, the internal container 5 can still be "snapped" onto the tooth but, more advantageously, is fixed to the pot by means of a rotation, achieving a semi-bayonet attachment.
[0058] For this purpose, the first 6A and the second perimeter segment 6B of the tooth 6 can be symmetrical with respect to a center D of the pot 2.
[0059] They can be angularly spaced at a second angle [3 greater than the first angle a (see [Fig.7]).
[0060] The greater width of the angle [3 relative to the angle a allows, following a relative rotation between the pot 2 and the container, the unhindered extraction of the container.
[0061] It goes without saying that if the container has a skirt 7A, 7B with more than two interruptions, even the tooth 6, 6A, 6B may be interrupted at several points, pre- specifically to facilitate release following the mentioned rotation.
[0062] Several embodiments of the invention have been described, but others could be envisaged based on the same innovative concept.
