DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0033] The following description is purely exemplary and is not intended to limit this disclosure, its application or its uses.

[0034] With reference now to the drawings, a new and improved device for distributing a liquid product incorporating the principles and concepts of the present invention and generally designated by the numerical reference 1 will be described.

[0035] With reference to [Fig. 1], a device 1 for dispensing a liquid product is shown according to an exemplary embodiment of the present application. The device 1 is to be grasped by the user to enable them to perform a scalp massage and apply the liquid product to be treated to the scalp using at least one massage element. The massage element is, for example, a ball or a sphere that is applied to the user's body surface. In one example, the massage element is a nozzle 51 of the applicator 5. In another example, as shown in Figures 1-2, the massage element is a massage head 6 which is fitted onto the applicator 5. In one example, the massage head 6 includes multiple massage protrusions 61 corresponding to the number of multiple nozzles 51, and the massage protrusion 61 is made of elastomeric material and has a ball or oval shape. In one example, the massage protrusion 61 and / or the massage head are made of TPE material, preferably with a Shore hardness of A. In another example, the massage protrusions 61 can be made of materials selected from the TPE group, elastomeric plastics, PU (polyurethane), and silicone rubber. In one example, the Shore hardness of the massage protrusion 61 is between 20 and 90. In one example, the applicator and / or the nozzle are made of PP and TPE using a bi-injection molding process. In such a situation, the liquid product dispensing device 1 will provide a gentle and comfortable massage sensation to clients.

[0036] In one embodiment of the present application, the container 2 can be squeezed to facilitate the flow of the liquid product when it is in the open position. Furthermore, the multiple nozzles 51 are advantageous compared to a single nozzle in that the product is distributed more uniformly in a smaller volume for each nozzle.

[0037] In the present application, the device for dispensing a liquid product includes a scalp massage applicator, and this applicator has 3~5 nozzles. Thanks to a flexible material (TPE / elastomer / PU) with bi-injection technology for the scalp massage applicator, this liquid product dispensing device offers precise formulation delivery combined with a massage function. Furthermore, this applicator is easy to maneuver across the scalp, featuring four nozzles for formula delivery and a soft elastomer for scalp massage. The gentle touch of the massage applicator helps improve scalp blood circulation.

[0038] The device 1 for dispensing a liquid product includes an external screw cap 3, which is configured to be mounted on the container 2. In particular, in one example, as shown in Figures 4, 4A and 6-7, the external screw cap 3 has a cap body 31 having a skirt portion 312 for attachment to the opening of the container and a cap 311 formed at the upper portion of the skirt 312. In addition, the external screw cap 3 has a collar 32 extending axially from the cap 311 in a direction opposite to the skirt portion 312, and the collar 32 forms a portion of the external screw cap 3 for engaging with the internal cap 4. As shown in Figures 6-7, the skirt portion 312 has a female thread on its inner peripheral surface, and the skirt portion 312 is attached to the opening of the container by means of the female thread.

[0039] With reference to [Fig. 5] and further reference to Figures 2 and 6-7, the liquid product dispensing device 1 also includes an internal stopper 4, which can be engaged with said external screw stopper 3 and moved thereon from an open position in which the liquid product is dispensed from the container 2, to a closed position in which the liquid product is prevented from flowing. In one embodiment of the present application, as shown in Figures 4-5 and [Fig. 6-7], the device 1 for dispensing a liquid product ...4A], a channel 321 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the collar 32 of the external screw cap 3 and preferably midway along the outer peripheral surface of the collar 32, and a slide 413 is formed on the inner cap 4 and the slide 413 slides along the channel 321 during the rotation of the inner cap 4 relative to the external screw cap 3 between the open and closed positions, and during rotation towards the open position, the inner cap 4 will move axially away from said external screw cap 3. In one example, the inner cap 4 and / or the external screw cap 3 is made of PP material by an injection molding process.

[0040] In one embodiment as shown in [Fig. 5], the internal plug 4 comprises an external peripheral skirt 41 and a base portion 40 which is formed as a ceiling or a high plate at the upper end of the external peripheral skirt 41. The slide 413 extends radially inward along the surface internal peripheral of the external peripheral skirt 41, and during a rotation of said internal plug 4 relative to said external screw plug 3, the slider 413 will slide within said channel 321 of the external screw plug 3.

[0041] In this way, the present application uses a simple internal / external sliding system to open and close the liquid product dispensing device 1. The internal / external sliding system can also be called an on / off system, and it would have a simple rotating motion and would allow for multiple functions (e.g., closing / opening / dispensing formula). Furthermore, this on / off system also includes a formula dispensing function and would ensure the formula is dispensed until it is applied to the scalp for blood circulation. Thanks to the gentle massage applicator, the reason the consumer presses the applicator during the massage and formula dispensing is to apply pressure. This would be more useful for ensuring scalp blood circulation during the application of the formula to the scalp. In addition, the 61 soft massage protrusion in the shape of a ball or oval, which is made of elastomer, will offer clients a feeling of comfort and allow them to enjoy the functional benefit of the liquid composition for scalp / hair for scalp health.

[0042] Furthermore, the liquid product distribution device 1 includes an applicator 5. In one embodiment as shown in [Fig. 3], the applicator 5 includes an outer skirt 52 and multiple nozzles 51. In one embodiment, the outer skirt 52 includes a pair of axial extension ribs 521 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the outer skirt 52. In one embodiment, the outer skirt 52 also includes a circumferential lip 522 on its inner peripheral surface, and the circumferential lip 522 is interrupted at the position where the pair of axial extension ribs 521 is located. In one example of an embodiment as shown in [Fig.3], the outer peripheral skirt 41 of the inner cap 4 includes a pair of axial extension edges 411 in positions corresponding to the pair of axial extension ribs 521 of the applicator 5.The pair of axial extension edges 411 will press against the pair of axial extension ribs 521 during operation to prevent the applicator 5 from rotating relative to the inner plug 4. In one embodiment, the inner plug 4 includes a circumferential rim 412 on its outer peripheral surface, and when the applicator 5 is coupled to the inner plug 4, the circumferential lip 522 of the applicator 5 will slide on the circumferential rim 412 of the inner plug 4, so as to prevent the applicator 5 from moving axially away from the inner plug 4. In this way, the applicator 5 is restricted in its rotation or axial displacement relative to the inner plug 4. In other words... In terms of the design, the applicator 5 is coupled to the inner plug 4 without any movement by means of the corresponding axial extension rib, the edge and rim, and the circumferential lip on the applicator 5 and the inner plug 4, respectively. In this way, the applicator 5 and the inner plug 4 are formed as if they were a single unit, so that the liquid product dispensing device 1 is more convenient to use.

[0043] In an example of an embodiment as shown in Figures 4-5, a stop 35 in the external screw cap 3 extends axially the ceiling 311 of the external screw cap 3, and an internal peripheral skirt 42 extends axially the base part 40 of the internal cap 4 and coaxially the external peripheral skirt 41 on the internal cap 4, and a corresponding stop 44 in the internal cap 4 extends axially the base part 40 and radially the external periphery of the internal peripheral skirt 42, and when the internal cap 4 is turned into the closed position, the corresponding stop 44 will press on the stop 35 with a clear click or an audible sound.

[0044] Thus, the present application uses a simple internal / external sliding system in combination with the corresponding stops which creates an audible click or sound, the user can be reminded that the device is already in the closed position and that no fluid product will flow in this closed position.

[0045] In one example of an embodiment, with continuous reference to Figures 4-5, the external screw cap 3 has a curved axial groove 310 formed on the ceiling 311, and the curved axial groove 310 is coaxial with the collar 32 and the depth of the groove changes in the axial direction A, and the internal cap 4 has a cantilever 421 extending axially from the internal peripheral skirt 42, and during a rotation of said internal cap 4 relative to said external screw cap 3, the cantilever 421 will slide within said curved axial groove 310, accompanied by the slide 413 within the channel 321.

[0046] With reference to Figures 6-7 and further reference to Figures 4-5, in one embodiment, the collar 32 has at least one, and preferably two, axial slots 322 at each end of the channel 321. When the internal stopper 4 is rotated to the open or closed position, the slider 413 will slide in one of the two axial slots 322 accordingly. Thus, when the liquid product dispensing device is in the open or closed position, the user will have tactile feedback because the slider slides in the axial slots 322, which are deeper than the channel 321.

[0047] In one embodiment, the collar 32 comprises two or four axial slots 322 spaced at its circumference, and two channels 321 are formed diagonally from the outer peripheral surface of the collar 32, and two necks The 413 grooves are formed diagonally on the inner plug 4, so that the inner plug 4 rotates approximately 90 degrees to 180 degrees from the closed to the open position. This 90-180 degree rotation will help the device operate more easily, and the user can even operate the device with one hand.

[0048] Furthermore, the symmetrical diagonal arrangement of the slides and channels allows for more precise movement or rotation during operation of the device, which promotes perfect guidance to the open position. In one example, the four axial slots 322 are equally spaced at the circumference of the collar 32, and the internal plug 4 preferably rotates approximately 90 degrees from the closed to the open position.

[0049] In one embodiment, with continuous reference to Figures 4-7, the inner cap 4 and the external screw cap 3 comprise respectively a recess 43 and a complementary recess 33, and the recess 43 extends axially from the base portion 40 and is coaxial with the external peripheral skirt 41 of the inner cap 4, and the complementary recess 33 extends axially from the top 311 and is coaxial with the collar 32 on the external screw cap 3. In one example, a post 34 extends axially from the top 311 and is located at the center of the complementary recess 33. In one example, when the inner cap 4 is in the closed position as shown in [Fig. 6], the post presses against the internal peripheral surface of the recess 43 so as to prevent the liquid product from flowing out; when the inner cap 4 is in the open position as shown in [Fig. 6], the post presses against the internal peripheral surface of the recess 43 so as to prevent the liquid product from flowing out.[7], the liquid product will pass between the amount 34 and the recess 43 and will flow out, as shown in [Fig.7].

[0050] In one embodiment, as shown in Figures 4 and 6, the upright 34 is formed with a straight dome 341 at the free end, and when the internal plug 4 is in the closed position, as shown in [Fig.6], the straight dome 341 presses on the internal peripheral surface of the recess 43, so as to block the passage of the fluid product.

[0051] In one embodiment, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, the holes 340 are formed in the ceiling 311 and located between the outer peripheral surface of the upright 34 and the inner peripheral surface of the complementary recess 33, and the openings 430 are formed in the base part 40 and within the recess 43. In one embodiment, the right dome 341 engages in cooperation with the recess 43 to block the openings 430 when the inner plug 4 is in the closed position, as shown in [Fig. 6].

[0052] In one embodiment, as shown in [Fig. 7], the collar 32 has a circumferential edge 324 on its outer peripheral surface, and the outer peripheral skirt 41 has a corresponding circumferential edge 414 on its internal peripheral surface to engage with the circumferential edge 324, so as to prevent the internal plug 4 from moving axially away from the external screw plug 3.

[0053] In one embodiment, as shown in [Fig.4], the collar 32 has one or more reinforcing ribs 323 extending axially over the internal peripheral surface of the collar 32 at the position corresponding to the channel 321. This prevents the channel 321 or the collar 32 from being destroyed after several openings and closings of the device, because the reinforcing ribs 323 add rigidity or strength to the channel 321 or the collar 32 of the external screw cap 3.

[0054] In one embodiment, as shown in [Fig. 6], when the inner plug 4 is in the closed position, the axial distance between the lowest end of the outer peripheral skirt 41 of the inner plug 4 and the top 311 of the external screw plug 3 is at its smallest, and this axial distance is denoted "dl" in [Fig. 6]. Conversely, as shown in [Fig. 7], when the inner plug 4 is in the open position, the axial distance between the lowest end of the peripheral skirt 41 of the inner plug 4 and the top 311 of the external screw plug 3 is at its largest, and this axial distance is denoted "d2" in [Fig. 7]. By way of example, the range of dl could be between 0.2 and 3 mm, and this small distance would be useful for ensuring a proper position between the inner plug 4 and the external screw plug 3.Furthermore, the range of d2 can be between 2.2 and 5 mm, and this small distance would prevent any twisting when pressure is applied in a horizontal direction. As another example, a range of "d2 - dl" could be from 0.2 mm to 5 mm. In one example, d2 - dl = 2 mm. In other words, when the internal stopper 4 rotates from the closed position in [Fig. 6] to the open position in [Fig. 7], the internal stopper 4 will rise by approximately 2 mm during the rotation. Such axial lifting will help create sufficient space or passage for the liquid product to flow (even in bulk flow) for dispensing.
