Description

Title of the invention: Spraying device with positioning indication

[0001] The present invention relates to a spraying device comprising a body and a spray head, the spray head being mounted on the body and capable of pivoting in rotation around an axis of rotation relative to the body, the device comprising a positioning element and an indication element.

[0002] Since the spray head is mobile in rotation relative to the body, the angular position of the spray head can be adjusted to obtain the desired spray.

[0003] An incorrect angular position is likely to cause defects in the application of the sprayed product.

[0004] This adjustment is notably achieved by successive spray tests in an angular position and observation of the result to adjust the position for the next test. This is tedious and generally requires numerous trials.

[0005] In addition, the spray head is, for example, capable of being removed from the body, in particular for its maintenance or replacement or any other maintenance operation.

[0006] When the spray head or a new head is fitted to the body, it must then be repositioned to its previous angular position to obtain the same spray pattern. This requires repeating the tedious adjustment process.

[0007] In addition, such an adjustment method is also necessary in the event of misalignment of the angular position for any other reason.

[0008] Document EP 4 052 797 A1 describes an alignment tool comprising a body configured to surround a spray head cap and an indicator disposed on the tool body. The indicator is configured to show an angular position relative to a vertical axis of the spray gun. The alignment tool includes two passages to allow passage of two tabs on the cap, so as to exert a rotational force on the cap by rotating the tool and change the angular position of the cap relative to the vertical axis of the gun.

[0009] The tool allows both the spray head to be rotated relative to the body and the spray head to be aligned to an angular position by means of an indicator.

[0010] However, the measurement taken by the indicator is particularly inaccurate. Indeed, there is a gap of almost 3° between the tool and the spray head.

[0011] An object of the invention is therefore to propose a solution to allow the adjustment of the angular position of the spray head relative to the body in a precise and simple way.

[0012] For this purpose, the invention relates to a device of the aforementioned type, in which one of the positioning element or the indication element, said to be the first element, is arranged on the body or a part fixed in rotation about the axis of rotation with the body, and in which the other of the positioning element or the indication element, said to be the second element, is arranged on the spray head or a part fixed in rotation about the axis of rotation with the spray head.

[0013] The first element is fixed in rotation around the axis of rotation of the body, while the second element is fixed in rotation around the axis of rotation of the spray head. Thus, the angular positioning around the relative axis of rotation of the positioning element and the indicator element corresponds precisely to the angular positioning of the spray head and the body, allowing for precise and rapid adjustment. In particular, if the head is removed or misaligned, the angular positioning can be noted beforehand, so that the head and body can easily be replaced in the same angular position.

[0014] A spraying device according to the invention may further comprise one or more of the following features, taken alone or in any technically possible combination:

[0015] - the second element is arranged on the spray head.

[0016] - the first element is arranged on a fixed part rotating about the axis of rotation with the body.

[0017] - the first element is arranged on a part movable relative to the body between a reading position, in which the indication element indicates a position on the positioning element, and a withdrawal position.

[0018] - the moving part is fixed to the body or to a part fixed relative to the body by via a pivot joint, the moving part being able to pivot relative to the body around a pivot axis, preferably orthogonal to the axis of rotation.

[0019] - the integral part includes a complementary indexing element of a surface complementary to the body, the integral part being arranged so that the indexing element extends against the complementary surface.

[0020] - the indexing element comprises a flat surface, the complementary surface being a flat surface parallel to the axis of rotation.

[0021] - the integral part comprises a ring, the ring forming a ring around the axis of rotation and surrounding a neck of the body, the head being mounted at the level of the neck.

[0022] - the first element is arranged on a protrusion of the ring, said protrusion extending opposite the spray head, the second element being arranged on the spray head.

[0023] - the first element is arranged on a sleeve surrounding the spray head, the the sleeve being held in a given angular position relative to the body.

[0024] - the indication element includes a pointer, the positioning element including a marking, the pointer being adapted to point to the marking at a location relative to the angular position of the spray head relative to the body.

[0025] The invention will be better understood upon reading the following description, given solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying figures, among which:

[0031] Examples of spraying device 10 according to the invention are partially shown in figures 1 to 5.

[0032] The spraying device 10 is here a spraying device for the application of a coating product, here a spray gun, for example automatic, for example mounted on a robot or a flatbed machine.

[0033] The spraying device 10 is adapted to spray a jet of coating product for application onto a substrate.

[0034] The spraying device 10 comprises a body 12 and a spraying head 14.

[0035] The body 12 is, for example, adapted to be mounted on a support, for example on a robot. Alternatively, the body 12 is suitable for being manipulated by a user.

[0036] The body 12 comprises a front part 16 and at least one lateral side 18.

[0037] The lateral side 18 here comprises a flat surface 20.

[0038] The body 12 includes an interface for mounting the spray head 14, more particularly at the front part 16.

[0039] More particularly here, the body 12, more particularly the front part 16, includes a neck 22.

[0040] The collar 22 here exhibits rotational symmetry, more particularly around a main axis D.

[0041] The principal axis D is here parallel to the flat surface 20.

[0042] More particularly, the collar 22 comprises a wall exhibiting rotational symmetry about the principal axis D.

[0043] The collar 22 extends, along the longitudinal direction X, between a bound edge, here attached to a face of the front part 16 of the body 12, and a free edge.

[0044] Col 22 forms the opening of a housing.

[0045] The body 12 is adapted to receive at least one stream of coating product, and in this case, spray air. The housing is adapted to be supplied with pressurized coating product from the streams received by the body 12.

[0046] The spray head 14 includes a spray nozzle 26 intended for spraying the coating liquid in the form of a jet.

[0047] The jet is emitted around a spray axis.

[0048] The spray nozzle 26 is here suitable for spraying an elongated jet orthogonally to the spray axis.

[0049] The spray nozzle 26 has, for example, a slot 28 as a spray orifice.

[0050] The spray head 14 further includes here a hood 30 receiving the spray nozzle 26.

[0051] The hood 30 has, for example here, two lugs 32, the lugs 32 being adapted to be supplied with pressurized air. This makes it possible, in particular, to modify the shape of the jet, flattening the jet further by supplying the lugs.

[0052] The ears 32 are here spaced apart from each other in a direction perpendicular to the direction of extension of the slot.

[0053] The spray head 14 is mounted on the body 12, here by means of a sleeve 24, and is able to pivot in rotation around an axis of rotation D relative to the body 12.

[0054] The axis of rotation is here coincident with the principal axis D.

[0055] The spray axis is here coincident with the rotation axis D.

[0056] The rotation of the head causes a rotation of the direction in which the jet is extended.

[0057] The sleeve 24 extends here between a first end portion linked to the body 12 and a second end portion linked to the head 14.

[0058] The sleeve 24 has a symmetry of revolution about an axis, said axis being coincident with the principal axis D when the sleeve 24 is mounted on the body 12.

[0059] The sleeve 24 here surrounds the collar 22 and is able to pivot relative to the body 12 around the collar 22.

[0060] More specifically, the first end portion of the sleeve 24 comprises a complementary internal surface of the neck 22, for example a complementary thread or circumferential grooves.

[0061] The spray head 14 is received in the sleeve 24 at the level of the second end portion.

[0062] The spray head 14 is here able to rotate relative to the sleeve 24 around the axis of symmetry of revolution of the sleeve 24.

[0063] More particularly, the spray head 14 includes a base received in the second end portion of the sleeve 24.

[0064] The sleeve further includes, for example, on its external surface, a textured surface to facilitate its gripping, in particular for pivoting the sleeve.

[0065] In a particular embodiment, only one of the spray head 14 and the body 12 is movable in rotation relative to the sleeve 24.

[0066] The spray head 14 is here further removable from the body 12, more particularly by disassembling the spray head 14 and the sleeve 24 from the body 12.

[0067] The device 10 further comprises a positioning element 34 and an indication element 36.

[0068] The indication element 34 includes, for example, at least one pointer 38.

[0069] The pointer 38 is, for example, the tip of a finger or any pointed shape, or an arrow.

[0070] The positioning element 36 here includes a marking 40.

[0071] Marking 40 includes, for example, an angular graduation at regular intervals, for example between 0 and 90° or between 0 and 180°. Marking 40 here includes a reference mark for each value of the graduation. Each value of the graduation is indicated here.

[0072] The angular graduation corresponds to the angular offset corresponding to the rotation around the axis of rotation D with respect to a reference plane. The reference plane includes the axis of rotation D.

[0073] The pointer 38 is adapted to point to the marking 40 at a location relative to the angular position of the spray head 14 with respect to the body 12.

[0074] One of the positioning element 36 or the indication element 34, said the first element, is arranged on the body 12 or a part fixed in rotation about the axis of rotation D with the body 12.

[0075] The other of the positioning element 36 or of the indication element 34, called the second element, is arranged on the spray head 14 or a part fixed in rotation about the axis of rotation D with the spray head 14.

[0076] In the first embodiment shown in [Fig. 1], the first element is the indication element 34 and the second element is the posi- function 36.

[0077] The second element, here the positioning element 36, is arranged directly on the spray head 14, more particularly on the hood 30.

[0078] More specifically, the hood 30 is graduated at regular intervals, here between 0 and 90°.

[0079] Alternatively, the hood is graduated at regular intervals between 0 and 180°.

[0080] The graduation is arranged on an arc of a circle centered on the axis of rotation D.

[0081] More specifically, the graduation is arranged on a portion of a circumference of a front face of the hood.

[0082] The first element, here the indication element 34, is arranged on a movable part 42 relative to the body 12 between a reading position, shown in [Fig.1], and a retraction position.

[0083] The movable part 42 is fixed to the body 12 or to a fixed part relative to the body 12 by means of a pivot joint 44, the movable part 42 being able to pivot relative to the body 12 around the pivot axis A of the pivot joint 44.

[0084] In the example shown, the movable part 42 is fixed by the pivot joint 44 to an intermediate part 46 fixed in a fixed manner to the body 12.

[0085] The attachment of the intermediate part 46 to the body 12 is, for example, reversible.

[0086] The attachment of the intermediate part 46 to the body 12 includes, for example, screws.

[0087] Additionally or alternatively, the attachment of the intermediate part 46 to the body 12 includes, for example, a magnetic attachment by magnet.

[0088] The intermediate piece 46 is here fixed directly to the flat surface 20 of the body 12.

[0089] The intermediate piece 46 extends between an end connected to the body 12 and a free end along the direction of the axis of rotation D, called the longitudinal direction X.

[0090] The intermediate piece 46 extends from the connected end towards the head 14 along the longitudinal direction X.

[0091] The intermediate piece 46 extends parallel to the flat surface 20.

[0092] The intermediate part 46 has a dimension along the longitudinal direction X such that its free end extends in relation to the spray head perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X, here perpendicular to the flat surface 20.

[0093] The movable part 42 is fixed by the pivot joint 44, here by a hinge, to the intermediate part 46, more particularly to the free end.

[0094] The pivot axis A is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X.

[0095] The pivot axis A is parallel to the flat surface 20.

[0096] The movable part 42 here includes a finger 48, the end of which is the pointer 38.

[0097] In the reading position, the indication element 34 indicates a position on the positioning element 36. More specifically, in the reading position, the pointer 38 indicates a location on the graduation of the marking 40.

[0098] In the reading position, finger 48 extends here mainly in one direction extension perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X.

[0099] The said extension direction is here, moreover, perpendicular to the intermediate part 46.

[0100] In the retracted position, the movable part 42 is pivoted relative to the body 12, so as to move the indicator element 34 away from the spray head 14.

[0101] In an embodiment not shown, the moving part comprises a plurality of pointers, more particularly two fingers, each having an end. The two pointers are, for example, arranged such that a second pointer indicates the minimum, here 0°, on the marking when the first pointer indicates the maximum, here 90°. This makes it possible, in particular, to measure an angular amplitude between 0 and 180° with a marking ranging only from 0 to 90°.

[0102] In an alternative embodiment not shown, the spraying device comprises a plurality of moving parts as described above, here two moving parts, each part being provided with a pointer. Similarly, the moving parts are such that a second pointer indicates the minimum, here 0°, on the marking when the first pointer indicates the maximum, here 90°.

[0103] An application of a spraying device according to the first example will now be described.

[0104] The spray head 14 is mounted on the body 12 in a given angular position.

[0105] The movable part 42 is placed in the reading position.

[0106] The pointer 38 indicates a location of the marking, more particularly on a graduation or between graduations.

[0107] A user then simply reads the given angular position.

[0108] Said given angular position corresponds, for example, to a desired angular position because it offers a satisfactory quality application.

[0109] In the case where the indication element comprises a plurality of pointers, the angular position is read using a particular pointer. This particular pointer is, for example, labeled with the corresponding angular position.

[0110] The head 14 is then removed from the body 12 and reassembled later, or their respective angular position is misaligned.

[0111] The movable part 42 is placed in the reading position.

[0112] A user then reads the angular position indicated by the pointer on the marking.

[0113] If this corresponds to the given angular position, then the head 14 is correctly adjusted relative to the body.

[0114] If this does not correspond, the user rotates the head 14 relative to the body 12 in the desired direction and takes another measurement until the given angular position is obtained.

[0115] For each user pivot manipulation, the user moves, by For example, previously the movable part 42 in the retracted position, so as to facilitate access to pivot the head 14, for example at the sleeve 24.

[0116] Thus, the user quickly adjusts the head to the given angular position relative to the body 12, without needing to carry out spray tests.

[0117] After adjustment, the movable part 42 is, for example, placed in the retracted position. It is then, for example, possible to spray directly.

[0118] The first element can be left connected to the body without interfering with the spraying. This helps to limit the risk of losing the first element and ensures that it is always available for taking an angular position reading.

[0119] Alternatively, the first element is separated from the body before any spraying.

[0120] In the second example of an embodiment, shown in [Fig.2], the first element is the indication element 34 and the second element is the positioning element 36.

[0121] The second element, here the positioning element 36, is arranged directly on the spray head 14.

[0122] The second element here is identical to that of the first example embodiment.

[0123] The first element, here the indicator element 34, is arranged here on a fixed part 50 fixed in rotation around the axis of rotation D with the body 12.

[0124] The integral part 50 here includes an indexing element 52 complementary to a complementary surface of the body 12.

[0125] The integral part 50 further includes a ring 54.

[0126] The ring 54 here forms a ring.

[0127] The ring 54 has a circular shape around a central axis.

[0128] The ring 54 extends between a support surface 56 and a front surface 58 according to the direction of the central axis.

[0129] The support surface 56 is, for example, complementary to the portion of the front part 16 of the body 12 surrounding the neck 22. The support surface 56 is here flat.

[0130] The indexing element 52 extends outward from the support surface 56, more particularly along the direction of the central axis.

[0131] In the example shown, the indexing element 52 includes a flat 60.

[0132] The flat 60 extends here in a tangential direction with respect to the central axis of the ring.

[0133] As previously stated, the integral part further includes the indicator element 34.

[0134] More specifically, the integral part 50 is provided with at least one pointer, here a pointer 38.

[0135] At least one pointer is arranged at the level of an outgrowth 62 of the attached part 50 at the level of the front surface 58.

[0136] The protrusion 62 comprises a base and a shoulder 64. The base extends from the ring 54 in the direction of the central axis. The shoulder 64 forms a shoulder of the base extending from the base in the radial direction with respect to the central axis and in the direction of the central axis.

[0137] In the example shown, the pointer 38 corresponds to a free end of the shoulder. The free end is, for example, an angle.

[0138] The fixed part 50 is arranged so that the indexing element 52 cooperates with, here extends against, the complementary surface, so as to prevent a rotation of the fixed part 50 relative to the body 12 around the axis of rotation D.

[0139] The complementary surface here is the flat surface 20, which is parallel to the axis of rotation D.

[0140] Here, the indexing element 52 extends against the complementary surface of the body 12, that is to say here the flat 60 extends against the flat surface 20, so as to block any rotation of the fixed part 50 around the axis of rotation D.

[0141] Here, the integral part 50 is arranged so that the central axis coincides with the axis of rotation, and here further so that the ring surrounds the neck 22.

[0142] More specifically, the ring surrounds the neck 22 with a clearance of less than 1.0 mm.

[0143] The protrusion 62 then extends opposite the spray head 14. The pointer 38 here indicates a location on the positioning element 36, here the marking 40.

[0144] In the embodiment shown, the attached part 50 is not fixed to the body 12.

[0145] The fixed part 50 is here previously mounted on the body by translation of the fixed part 50 along the longitudinal direction X, so as to insert the collar 22 into the ring 54 and so that the indexing element 52 extends against the complementary surface of the body 12. The support surface 56 then extends against the front part 16 of the body 12 surrounding the collar 22.

[0146] The integral part 50 can then be removed from the body 12 by simple translation along the longitudinal direction X, in the opposite direction of assembly.

[0147] Alternatively, after mounting the fixed part 50 on the body 12, the fixed part 50 is attached to the body 12 by a fastening means, for example screws and / or a magnetic system.

[0148] An application of a spraying device according to the second example will now be described.

[0149] The spray head 14 is placed relative to the body 12 in a given angular position.

[0150] The integral part 50 is pre-mounted on the body 12.

[0151] The pointer 38 indicates a location of the marking, more particularly on a graduation or between graduations.

[0152] A user can then easily read the given angular position.

[0153] Said given angular position corresponds, for example, to a desired angular position because it offers a satisfactory quality application.

[0154] In the case where the indication element comprises a plurality of pointers, the angular position is read using a particular pointer. This particular pointer is, for example, labeled with the corresponding angular position.

[0155] The head 14 is then removed from the body 12 and reassembled later, or their respective angular position is misaligned.

[0156] Similarly, the integral part 50 is pre-mounted on the body 12.

[0157] A user then reads the angular position indicated by the pointer on the marking.

[0158] If this corresponds to the given angular position, then the head 14 is correctly adjusted relative to the body.

[0159] If this does not correspond, the user rotates the head 14 relative to the body 12 in the desired direction and takes another measurement until the given angular position is obtained.

[0160] Thus, the user quickly adjusts the head to the given angular position relative to the body 12, without needing to carry out spray tests.

[0161] After adjustment, the integral part 50 is removed from the body, for example before using the device to spray a jet of coating product.

[0162] Alternatively, the first element is designed not to interfere with spraying and remains attached to the body during spraying.

[0163] In the third example of an embodiment, shown in [Fig.3], the first element is the positioning element 36 and the second element is the indication element 34.

[0164] The third example of an embodiment will be described solely by its differences with the second embodiment.

[0165] In the third embodiment, the indicator element 34 is arranged directly on the spray head 14.

[0166] The indication element is, for example, a mark, here engraved, on the spray head 14. The mark is, for example, an arrow.

[0167] In the third embodiment, the device includes a fixed part 50 similar to that of the second embodiment.

[0168] The integral part 50 differs in that it does not include the indication element, but the positioning element 36.

[0169] Similarly, the attached part 50 includes an outgrowth 62 at the front surface 58.

[0170] The protrusion 62 comprises a base and a shoulder 64. The base extends from the ring 54 along the direction of the central axis. The shoulder forms a shoulder of the base extending from the base in the radial direction relative to the central axis and in the direction of the central axis.

[0171] In the example shown, the shoulder 64 extends along an arc of a circle around the central axis.

[0172] The positioning element 36 here includes a graduation on the shoulder 64, here engraved on the shoulder.

[0173] The graduation here extends from 0° to 90°. Alternatively, the graduation extends from 0° to 180°.

[0174] The graduation here includes reference marks for each value of the graduation, the reference marks being arranged at a free edge of the shoulder 64. The free edge of the shoulder is the edge of the shoulder closest radially to the central axis.

[0175] The free edge here forms an arc of a circle.

[0176] The use of the spraying device according to the third example is here identical to the use of the spraying device according to the second example, except that, for reading, the positioning element 36 is arranged on the part 50 and the indication element 34 is arranged on the head 14.

[0177] In the fourth example of an embodiment, shown in [Fig.4], the first element is the positioning element 36 and the second element is the indication element 34.

[0178] Here, the indicator element 34 is arranged directly on the spray head 14.

[0179] The indication element is, for example, a mark, here engraved, on the spray head 14. The mark is, for example, an arrow.

[0180] In the fourth embodiment, the first element, here the positioning element 36, is arranged on the sleeve 24, the sleeve 24 being held in a given angular position relative to the body 12.

[0181] In the example shown, the sleeve 24, more particularly the internal surface of the first end portion, includes at least one pin 70.

[0182] The pin 70 extends here in a radial direction with respect to the axis of rotation D.

[0183] The body 12, more particularly the neck 22, here has a groove 72, here on its exterior surface.

[0184] The groove 72 includes an insertion portion 74 and a retaining portion 76.

[0185] The insertion portion 74 opens here at the level of the free edge of the neck 22.

[0186] The insertion portion 74 extends between an end opening onto the free edge and a bounded end.

[0187] The insertion portion 74 extends here along the longitudinal direction X.

[0188] The retaining portion 76 extends from the bounded end of the insertion portion 74.

[0189] The retaining portion 76 extends between an end connected to the insertion portion 74 and a closed end.

[0190] The retaining portion 76 extends here in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X.

[0191] The pin 70 is suitable for being inserted into the groove 72, more particularly via the end opening at the free edge.

[0192] While the sleeve 24 is being mounted on the body 12, the pin 70 is inserted into the groove 72 until it reaches the closed end, here by translation along the longitudinal direction X during the movement of the pin 70 in the insertion portion 74, then by rotation around the axis of rotation D during the movement of the pin 70 in the holding portion 76, here until it reaches the closed end.

[0193] The spraying device 10 includes, for example, an elastic system adapted to recall the pin 70 against the closed end of the retaining portion 76.

[0194] The elastic system includes, for example, a joint between the sleeve 24 and the body 12, the joint being adapted to recall the sleeve 24 relative to the body 12, so that the pin 70 extends against the closed end of the retaining portion 76, more particularly by its shape and elasticity.

[0195] The sleeve 24 is here fixed to the body 12 by rotation around the axis of rotation D.

[0196] Here, the positioning element 36 is arranged on the second end portion of the sleeve 24, more particularly here on a front face 78 of the sleeve 24.

[0197] The front face 78 forms the end of the sleeve 24 along the longitudinal direction X included in the second end portion.

[0198] The front face 78 extends perpendicularly to the axis of rotation D.

[0199] The positioning element 36 here includes an angular graduation, as described previously, for example engraved on the front face 78.

[0200] The graduation here extends from 0° to 90°. Alternatively, the graduation extends from 0° to 180°.

[0201] The graduation is arranged on an arc of a circle centered on the axis of rotation D.

[0202] The indicator element 34 indicates a location on the angular graduation of the positioning element 36.

[0203] An application of a spraying device according to the fourth example will now be described.

[0204] The spray head 14 is mounted on the body 12 via the sleeve 24. The sleeve 24 is mounted on the body 12, so that the pin 70 is at the level of the closed end of the groove 72.

[0205] The spray head 14 is positioned relative to the body 12 given angular angle.

[0206] The pointer 38 indicates a location of the marking, more particularly on a graduation or between graduations.

[0207] A user then simply reads the given angular position.

[0208] Said angular position given corresponds, for example, to a desired angular position because it offers a satisfactory quality application.

[0209] The head 14 is then removed from the body 12 and reassembled later, or their respective angular position is misaligned.

[0210] A user then reads the angular position indicated by the pointer on the marking.

[0211] If this corresponds to the given angular position, then the head 14 is correctly adjusted relative to the body.

[0212] If this does not correspond, the user rotates the head 14 relative to the body 12 in the desired direction and takes another measurement until the given angular position is obtained.

[0213] Thus, the user quickly adjusts the head to the given angular position relative to the body 12, without needing to carry out spray tests.

[0214] After adjustment, the spraying device 10 is used to spray a jet of coating product.

[0215] In the embodiments of the first, second, third and fourth examples, the first element is arranged on a part fixed in rotation about the axis of rotation with the body, the second element being arranged on the spray head, more particularly so that the first element is arranged opposite the second element.

[0216] All the examples of the embodiments described above allow for easy and quick reading of the angular position, by direct indication of a location of the positioning element by the indication element, which allows for quick adjustment of the position of the head relative to the body.

[0217] In the fifth embodiment shown in [Fig.5], the first element is arranged on the body 12 and the second element is arranged on the head 14.

[0218] Here, the first element is the positioning element 36.

[0219] More specifically, the body 12 is graduated at regular intervals, here between 0 and 90°.

[0220] Alternatively, the body 12 is graduated at regular intervals between 0 and 180°.

[0221] The graduation is arranged on an arc of a circle centered on the axis of rotation D.

[0222] More particularly, the graduation is arranged on a portion of a circumference of a front face of the front part of the body 12.

[0223] The front face here surrounds the bound edge of the collar 22.

[0224] The second element here is the indicator element 34.

[0225] The indicator element is, for example, a mark, here engraved, on the head of the spray- risation 14. The mark is, for example, an arrow.

[0226] The mark forms the pointer.

[0227] The spraying device 10 further includes a movable part 80 rotating about the axis of rotation D.

[0228] The moving part 80 includes in particular a ring 82 and at least one link 84.

[0229] The ring 82 here forms a circular ring around a central axis.

[0230] The ring 82 extends between a rear surface and a front surface 86 according to the direction of the central axis.

[0231] The rear surface is, for example, complementary to the portion of the front part 16 of the body 12 surrounding the neck 22. The rear surface is here flat.

[0232] In use, the movable part 80 surrounds the neck 22, here with a clearance of less than 1.0 mm. The movable part 80 is then arranged such that the central axis coincides with the axis of rotation.

[0233] In use, the movable part 80 is not fixed to the body 12.

[0234] The movable part 80 is here previously slid onto the body by translation of the movable part 80 along the longitudinal direction X so as to slide the neck 22 into the ring 82.

[0235] The linkage 84 includes a visual element 88, here a groove, extending along the direction of the central axis from the rear surface to the front surface 86 over the entire dimension of the moving part 80 along the longitudinal direction X at this location.

[0236] The visual element 88 connects a point on the rear surface and a point on the front surface 86.

[0237] Link 84 further includes an indicator 90.

[0238] The indicator 90 extends from the front surface 86 of the ring 82 and forms an outgrowth in a radial direction with respect to the axis of rotation D in the direction of said axis of rotation D.

[0239] The indicator 90 includes a free end 92.

[0240] The free end 92 extends in the same radial plane as the visual element 88.

[0241] In use, the free end 92 extends in relation to the spray head in the longitudinal direction X. The free end 92 is also able to extend in relation to the indicator element 34, by rotation of the movable part 80 around the axis of rotation D.

[0242] An application of a spraying device according to the fifth example will now be described.

[0243] The spray head 14 is arranged relative to the body 12 in a given angular position.

[0244] The movable part 80 is previously slid onto the body 12, so as to surround the neck 22.

[0245] The user pivots the movable part 80 so that the linkage 84, here more particularly the free end 92, indicates the indicator element 34, that is to say here that the free end 92 is aligned with the indicator element 34 in a radial direction.

[0246] The link 84, at the rear surface of the ring, then indicates a location of the positioning element 36.

[0247] A user then simply reads the given angular position.

[0248] Said angular position given corresponds, for example, to a desired angular position because it offers a satisfactory quality application.

[0249] The head 14 is then removed from the body 12 and reassembled later, or their respective angular position is misaligned.

[0250] Similarly, the movable part 80 is previously slid onto the body 12.

[0251] A user similarly reads the indicated angular position by aligning the movable part 80 with the indication element 34.

[0252] If this corresponds to the given angular position, then the head 14 is correctly adjusted relative to the body.

[0253] If this does not correspond, the user rotates the head 14 relative to the body 12 in the desired direction and takes another measurement until the given angular position is obtained.

[0254] Thus, the user quickly adjusts the head to the given angular position relative to the body 12, without needing to carry out spray tests.

[0255] After adjustment, the movable part 80 is removed from the body, for example before using the device to spray a jet of coating product.

[0256] Alternatively, the movable part 80 is designed not to interfere with spraying and remains on the body during spraying.

[0257] In an alternative embodiment of the fifth example, the first element is the indication element, and the second element is the positioning element.

[0258] More specifically, the body includes at least one mark forming the pointer on the front face of the front part. The mark is, for example, engraved.

[0259] The head has a graduation, for example engraved, as described previously opposite [Fig. 1].

[0260] The moving part is identical to that described previously.

[0261] The use differs only in that the user aligns the linkage with the mark on the body and reads the corresponding angular position on the head.

[0262] The moving part thus allows a reading of the angular position of the head relative to the body.

[0263] All the embodiments described herein allow for a reading of the angular position of the head relative to the body, without introducing any play. This thus allows for a precise and correct measurement of said angular position.

[0264] Adjusting the angular position of the head is also made easier, i.e., it does not require spray tests.
