Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Device for measuring electrical quantities in an electrical installation and associated system
[0001] The present invention relates to a device for measuring electrical quantities in an electrical installation, integrated into a housing comprising at least one unit block, the unit block having a through-housing adapted to receive an electrical conductor of said electrical installation.
[0002] The invention lies in the field of measurement and calculation of electrical quantities, in a distributed manner, in an electrical installation.
[0003] Indeed, in electrical installations, for example local electricity distribution networks, it is useful to measure electrical quantities, in particular electric current, voltage, on various electrical conductors, in several locations of the network, and to calculate other electrical quantities, e.g. power, energy etc.
[0004] For example, electrical quantity measurement devices, e.g. current or voltage sensors, are known to have communication capabilities for the measured electrical quantities, which allows the implementation of a communication network between measurement devices to a gateway communication device, which facilitates the supervision and control of the electrical network by users.
[0005] Moreover, a calculation of other electrical quantities from the current and voltage values measured by such sensors can be advantageously carried out in such a distributed communication network.
[0006] However, the installation and maintenance of such current and voltage sensor devices in an electrical installation, particularly for an electrical installation comprising a plurality of loads and sources, connected in several connection stages, by a plurality of electrical conductors, can prove costly, in time and labor, due to the need to install a large number of sensors, and to carry out operations to disconnect the electrical conductors of the installation.
[0007] There is therefore a need to facilitate the handling, installation and maintenance of electrical quantity measurement devices.
[0008] To this end, the invention proposes, according to one aspect, a device for measuring electrical quantities in an electrical installation, integrated into a housing comprising at least one unit block, the unit block having a through-hole adapted to receive an electrical conductor of said electrical installation, the through-hole extending along a principal axis. The unit block or blocks The unit includes:
[0009] - a current measurement module, configured to measure an electric current circulating in said electrical conductor,
[0010] - a voltage measurement module using capacitive coupling,
[0011] - a power supply module, configured to capture electrical energy at starting from said electrical conductor,
[0012] said modules being arranged around said through-housing intended to receive the electrical conductor,
[0013] the unit block further comprising an electronic device, including a wireless communication interface adapted to communicate according to a predetermined wireless communication protocol and a programmable electronic circuit,
[0014] the electronic device being supplied with electrical energy by said power supply module, the programmable electronic circuit being configured to continuously receive current and voltage measurements from said current and voltage measurement modules, and to control the transmission by said communication interface of at least one electrical quantity associated with the electrical signal flowing in the electrical conductor received in the through housing, obtained from said current and voltage measurements.
[0015] Advantageously, the proposed measuring device provides both a current measurement thanks to the presence of the current measurement module and a voltage measurement thanks to the presence of the voltage measurement device.
[0016] Advantageously, the proposed electrical measurement device is self-powered by the presence of the power supply module. Thus, no auxiliary power supply or dedicated cable is required.
[0017] Advantageously, the proposed electrical measurement device incorporates a wireless communication interface and a programmable electronic circuit. Thus, the proposed electrical measurement device is autonomous for a plurality of functions.
[0018] The electrical quantity measurement device according to the invention may have one or more of the characteristics below, taken independently or according to all acceptable combinations.
[0019] The electrical quantity is a current, a voltage, an active or reactive power, an electrical energy, a frequency, a power factor, a harmonic distortion of the electrical signal.
[0020] The unit block or each unit block is arranged in a first portion and a second portion assembled, said first and second portions being at least partially separable from each other, so as to allow opening and closing of the said unitary block, the said first and second portions cooperating to form the through dwelling.
[0021] The first and second portions are linked by at least one pivot with two axes of rotation.
[0022] The current measurement module and the power supply module are stacked in the direction defined by the main axis and the module has a first hollow part and the power supply module has a second hollow part, said first and second hollow parts being centered around the main axis and forming the through housing.
[0023] The voltage measurement module includes a sensor extending into the housing through the direction of the main axis and a support connected to said sensor and to the electronic device, forming a voltage sensor by capacitive coupling with the electrical conductor.
[0024] The current measurement module comprises a current sensor, the current sensor comprising a main winding of conductive wire, and a curved ferromagnetic element, comprising a rounded central portion and two arms of the same length extending on either side of the rounded central portion, the ferromagnetic element having an axis of symmetry parallel to each of the arms, the main winding extending in a direction perpendicular to said axis of symmetry, and being disposed between said arms of the ferromagnetic element.
[0025] The current sensor is configured to open into two parts, a first part comprising at least the main winding and said arms, and a second part comprising the rounded central portion.
[0026] The main winding has a first end and a second end, said arms of the ferromagnetic element being respectively a first arm and a second arm, the sensor further comprising compensation windings, arranged on either side of the main winding, respectively between the first end of the main winding and the first arm and between the second end of the main winding and the second arm.
[0027] The power supply module includes a current transformation block comprising a magnetic current transformer having an equivalent magnetizing inductance, an AC / DC conversion block comprising a so-called compensation capacitor, configured to compensate for energy loss due to the magnetic current transformer, and an electrical energy storage block.
[0028] The power supply module further includes an impedance matching block connected between the conversion block and the energy storage block.
[0029] The conversion block is a voltage multiplier block comprising the capacitor compensation and a blocking diode connected at the output of the compensation capacitor, the compensation capacitor having a capacitance chosen to compensate for the equivalent magnetizing inductance of the magnetic current transformer.
[0030] According to another aspect, the invention relates to a system for calculating electrical quantities in an electrical installation, comprising a plurality of electrical quantity measurement devices as briefly described above and a gateway communication device, configured to communicate according to a chosen wireless communication protocol.

[0041] [Fig. 10] [Fig. 10] is an example of circuit implementation of the power supply module of [Fig. 9].
[0042] Fig. 1 schematically illustrates a system 2 for calculating electrical quantities distributed in an electrical installation.
[0043] The electrical installation, which is not shown in [Fig. 1], is, for example, a domestic electricity distribution installation or a commercial or administrative building electricity distribution installation, configured to supply electrical energy and electrical energy-consuming loads, connected by means of electrical conductors, from one or more sources of electrical energy, including in particular a public electricity distribution network, and, optionally, local sources e.g. photovoltaic panels.
[0044] Electrical conductors are, for example, cables or conductive bars made of electrically conductive material.
[0045] The electrical installation can be a single-phase or polyphase installation, comprising a number N of electric current phases, with or without a neutral conductor.
[0046] In the single-phase case, additional adaptations, for example a connection to a reference potential, are introduced.
[0047] In the schematic representation of [Fig. 1], the system 2 for calculating electrical quantities comprises a plurality of devices 4 for measuring electrical quantities. Each device 4 for measuring electrical quantities is connected, in the illustrated example, to an electrical protection device 6, for example a circuit breaker.
[0048] For example, in one embodiment, the set of circuit breakers 6 and electrical quantity measuring devices 4 is placed in an electrical panel or in an electrical cabinet.
[0049] The electrical quantity measurement devices 4 will be described in more detail below.
[0050] In particular, each device 4 is equipped with a wireless communication interface. In other words, each device 4 is a communicating device, equipped with a communication capability, according to a chosen wireless protocol, with the other communicating devices of the electrical quantity calculation system 2.
[0051] For example, the wireless communication protocol implemented is the Bluetooth® protocol, or the Zigbee Green Power protocol.
[0052] As described in more detail below, each device 4 is configured to perform measurements of electrical quantities characterizing the electrical signal flowing in the or each electrical conductor 8 of the electrical installation being monitored. In particular, each device 4 is configured to provide continuous electrical current measurements on the or each of the electrical conductors 8 to which it is connected, and is configured to perform continuous voltage measurements by capacitive coupling.
[0053] In addition, each device 4 includes a programmable electronic circuit, e.g. a microprocessor, configured to perform calculations of selected electrical quantities.
[0054] System 2 further comprises, in one embodiment, a single contact voltage measurement device 10, equipped with a communication interface, so as to allow the broadcast of voltage measurements taken in continuous to the 4 electrical measurement devices, which improves the accuracy of voltage measurements in the system.
[0055] The system 2 further includes a gateway communication device 12, comprising a first communication interface 14 configured to communicate according to the wireless communication protocol used by the electrical quantity measurement devices 4, so as to achieve bidirectional communication with these devices 4.
[0056] In addition, the gateway communication device 12 includes a second communication interface 15, configured to communicate, for example according to another communication protocol, for example a wireless communication protocol, with one or more user devices 16.
[0057] For example, the second communication protocol is either wireless (Bluetooth, ZigBee, WiFi), or wired, e.g. Ethernet cable.
[0058] Thus, a user, for example a maintenance operator, is able to receive, via the user device 16, measurements of electrical quantities obtained, allowing supervision, monitoring of proper functioning, planning of predictive maintenance of the electrical installation concerned.
[0059] The measurements provided are for example displayed on a human-machine interface of the user device 16.
[0060] Advantageously, the electrical quantity measurement devices 4 are self-powered devices, so it is not necessary to connect them by wire, by a cable or more generally by an electrical conductor, to a power source.
[0061] Fig. 2 illustrates a device 4 for measuring electrical quantities.
[0062] In the example of [Fig.2], the device 4 is integrated into a housing comprising three unit blocks 20a, 20b, 20c. This device 4 is adapted for a three-phase electrical installation, each unit block being configured to receive a respective electrical conductor 8a, 8b, 8c, in a through housing 22a, 22b, 22c provided for this purpose, the associated electrical conductor being a conductor of one of the phases of a three-phase electrical current.
[0063] As illustrated in [Fig.2], the respective unit blocks 20a, 20b, 20c are arranged side by side, and for example joined laterally.
[0064] In addition, a series electrical connection is made between the respective unit blocks 20a, 20b, 20c, by means of an electrical conductor 21.
[0065] In the following description, a device 4 for measuring electrical quantities integrated in a housing comprising a unit block 20, and configured for measuring current and voltage from a phase conductor, will be described.
[0066] The embodiments described apply analogously to a device 4 comprising a plurality of similar unit blocks.
[0067] In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the unit block or each unit block 20 is of the opening type, and consequently the device 4 is opening.
[0068] Thus, in this embodiment, advantageously, the unit block 20 is arranged in a first portion 24 and a second portion 26, which cooperate to be assembled and form a unit block 20, represented in closed position in [Fig.3] and which are at least partially separable as illustrated in [Fig.4].
[0069] In the example of [Fig.3], the first portion 24 and second portion 26 are joined together by mechanical closing (or "clipping") elements.
[0070] A first internal volume V24 is defined inside the first portion 24 of the unit block 20, and a second internal volume V26 is defined inside the second portion 26.
[0071] The through housing 22 intended to receive the associated electrical conductor 8 extends along a principal axis Z, the direction of which is referred to as the longitudinal direction hereafter.
[0072] For example, in the embodiment of [Fig.4], the unit block 20 has a substantially parallelepiped shape, in other words the cross-section, in a plane orthogonal to the principal axis Z, is substantially rectangular.
[0073] Of course, this is an example of a geometric shape, but other geometric shapes are conceivable.
[0074] In one embodiment, as illustrated in [Fig.3], the first portion 24 and the second portion 26 are joined by a pivot system 25 with two axes of rotation 27, 29.
[0075] In an alternative embodiment, the first portion 24 and the second portion 26 are linked by a hinge 28, such that the second portion 26 can be moved around a rotation axis Z1, parallel to the principal axis Z, and folded down onto the first portion 24 to assemble it into a single block. The hinge is formed on a unit block lateral face 20.
[0076] The first and second portions 24, 26 cooperate to form the through housing 22, as illustrated in [Fig.4].
[0077] For example, if the through-hole 22 is substantially tubular in shape, for example with a circular or rectangular cross-section with rounded corners in a plane orthogonal to the principal axis Z, the first portion 24 has a hollow part forming a first half-tube in the longitudinal direction, and the second portion 26 has a hollow part forming a second half-tube in the longitudinal direction. The first and second half-tubes together form the through-hole 22 when the first portion 24 and the second portion 26 are in the closed position, as illustrated in [Fig. 3].
[0078] Thus, advantageously, in this embodiment, the measuring device 4 of physical quantities is openable, the unit block 20 being openable, which allows to surround the electrical conductor 8 on which the device 4 is placed to take measurements.
[0079] In an embodiment in which the device 4 comprises several unit blocks 20, the unit blocks are of the same shape and size and are adapted to be opened, then closed, in a unified manner.
[0080] Advantageously, this allows easy installation of the physical quantity measurement device 4 on an electrical conductor already connected in an electrical installation without having to disconnect (or unplug) this conductor from the electrical installation.
[0081] According to one variant, the first portion 24 and the second portion 26 are completely separable in translation, and are configured to be joined by clipping.
[0082] According to another variant, one of the portions is movable relative to the other, and is configured to slide into a track.
[0083] As illustrated in more detail in Figures 5 and 6, according to two different spatial orientations, and functionally in [Fig. 7], the device 4 for measuring physical quantities comprises: - a current measurement module 30, configured to measure an electric current flowing in the electrical conductor which is inserted into the through-housing 22, - a 32-module voltage measurement module using capacitive coupling, - a power supply module 34, configured to capture electrical energy from the electric current flowing in the electrical conductor which is inserted into the through housing 22.
[0084] It should be noted that in figures 5 and 6 the components of the electrical quantity measurement device 4 are shown in perspective, and the walls of the housing of the corresponding unit block 20 are not shown.
[0085] The device 4 for measuring physical quantities includes an electronic device 36, for example a printed circuit board type electronic card, comprising a communication interface 38 and a programmable electronic circuit 40.
[0086] The programmable electronic circuit 40 is, for example, a processor, such as a microprocessor or a programmable microcontroller.
[0087] Alternatively, the programmable electronic circuit 40 includes other electronic components, such as a digital signal processor (DSP), or a field-programmable gate array (FPGA), or a specialized integrated circuit (ASIC), or any equivalent element, or any combination of these elements.
[0088] The communication interface 38 is a wireless communication interface adapted to communicate according to a predetermined wireless communication protocol, by example Bluetooth, Zigbee or Zigbee Green Power.
[0089] The programmable electronic circuit 40 is configured to continuously receive current and voltage measurements from the current measurement modules 30 and voltage measurement modules 32, and to control the transmission through the communication interface 38 of at least one electrical quantity associated with the electrical signal flowing in the electrical conductor received in the through housing 22.
[0090] The electrical quantity is, for example, the electric current and / or the voltage.
[0091] Furthermore, in embodiments, the programmable electronic circuit 40 is configured to perform calculations to obtain other electrical quantities of the electrical signal, obtained from said current and voltage measurements, such as active or reactive power, electrical energy, frequency, power factor, harmonic distortion of the electrical signal.
[0092] The programmable electronic circuit 40 may also include components for shaping and / or filtering the measurements obtained.
[0093] Furthermore, the electronic device 36 includes its own clock, for example an electronic oscillator, for example a crystal oscillator, such as a quartz oscillator. For example, the clock can be integrated into the microprocessor 40.
[0094] Advantageously, the power supply module 34 is adapted to supply electricity to the electronic device 36. In other words, the electrical quantity measurement device 4 is self-powered.
[0095] The current measurement module 30, the voltage measurement module 32 by capacitive coupling, and the power supply module 34 are arranged in the unit block 20 so as to surround, in whole or in part, the electrical conductor 8, when an electrical conductor is inserted into the through housing 22.
[0096] In other words, modules 30, 32 and 34 are arranged around the through housing 22 intended to receive the electrical conductor 8.
[0097] In the embodiment of Figures 5 and 6, the electric current measurement modules 30 and the electric power supply modules 34 are stacked one on top of the other in the direction defined by the main axis Z, the through housing 22 being formed in this stacking.
[0098] The current measurement module 30 comprises a first hollow part 42, and the power supply module 34 comprises a second hollow part 44, the respective hollow parts being centered around the main axis Z and forming the through housing 22.
[0099] As seen in [Fig.6], in one embodiment the module 32 includes a support 47, allowing connection of a voltage sensor 46 and the electronic board 36, which allows the performance of electronic processing in the electronic board 36.
[0100] The support 47 is made of conductive material (flexible or rigid). The sensor 46 is in This embodiment, made in the form of a printed circuit board, is positioned as close as possible to the electrical conductor 8, positioned so as to extend along one side of the through housing 22, as illustrated in [Fig.6], for example at a distance of between 0 and 10 mm from the conductor 8. The assembly formed by the sensor 46 and the conductive support 47, and the electronic processing integrated into the electronic board 36, forms a voltage measurement module by capacitive coupling.
[0101] In another embodiment, the sensor 46 is a metallic part arranged in the form of a half-tube having a longitudinal axis extending parallel to the main axis Z. This half-tube forms a hollow portion, oriented towards the through-hole 22, connected via a conductor (not shown) to the electronic board 36. Thus, a non-contact voltage measurement is performed. The support 47 allows the sensor 46 to be connected to the electronic device 36.
[0102] Advantageously, module 32 is made in the first portion 24 of unit block 20.
[0103] Advantageously, the proposed arrangement of the respective modules makes it possible to create a particularly compact device 4 for measuring electrical quantities.
[0104] In the embodiment described with reference to [Fig.4], in which the electrical quantity measurement device 4 is openable, each of the current measurement modules 30 and power supply modules 34 are of the openable type, i.e. designed in two parts that are at least partially separable.
[0105] Thus, the current measurement module 30 comprises a first part 48 and a second part 50, at least partially separable, the first part 48 of the module 30 being housed in the first portion 24 of the unit block 20, the second part 50 of the module 30 being housed in the second portion 26 of the unit block 20.
[0106] Similarly, in the embodiment of [Fig.4], the power supply module 34 comprises a first part 52 and a second part 54, at least partially separable, the first part 52 of the module 34 being housed in the first portion 24 of the unit block 20, the second part 54 of the module 30 being housed in the second portion 26 of the unit block 20.
[0107] Fig. 7 illustrates in the form of a functional circuit the device 2 for measuring electrical quantities.
[0108] In addition to the elements described above, the electrical quantity measurement device 4 optionally includes a connection interface port 45 for a serial computer bus or USB (for "universal serial bus"), allowing the connection of an external device. Advantageously, this allows the device 4 to be powered via such an external device when the electrical conductor 8 is not carrying an electric current. For example, the external power supply is useful for initializing the communication interface 38 during The installation of device 4 by an operator. The serial link can also be used to connect to the programmable circuit / microprocessor / microcontroller to debug the system or update the firmware.
[0109] Embodiments of the current measurement modules 30 and power supply 34 are described below with reference to figures 7 to 9.
[0110] In a preferred embodiment, with reference to [Fig.8], the current measurement module 30 comprises an inductive current sensor 35 having a main winding 60, also called the main coil 60, of linear form, and a ferromagnetic element 62 of curved form, thus forming a so-called hybrid Rogowski sensor.
[0111] The main winding or coil 60 is formed, for example, by a conducting wire, e.g. a copper wire, wound around a support. The support is, for example, linear, with a circular cross-section.
[0112] Alternatively, the main winding has a curved shape, for example it is formed by winding a conductive wire around a toroidal support.
[0113] The support is for example made of plastic material, for example liquid crystal polymer (or LCP).
[0114] The ferromagnetic element has an inverted “C” shape, comprising a central rounded portion 64, having an axis of symmetry X, and two arms, respectively a first 66 and a second arm 68 extending linearly in a symmetrical manner, parallel to the axis of symmetry X of the central rounded portion.
[0115] Thus, preferably, the ferromagnetic element has a geometric shape that is symmetrical with respect to the axis of symmetry X.
[0116] In one embodiment, the central rounded portion 64 has a rectangular shape with rounded corners, in a so-called transverse plane (plane X, Y in [Fig.8]).
[0117] Advantageously, such a shape allows better compatibility with a parallelepiped-type housing with rounded corners.
[0118] Nevertheless, other forms with symmetry around the axis of symmetry X are conceivable, for example the central rounded portion 64 has a circular arc shape.
[0119] Preferably, the two arms 66, 68 are of the same dimensions, e.g. of the same length, thickness, height.
[0120] The main winding 60 is arranged along an axis Y, orthogonal to the axis of symmetry X, in spatial proximity to the ends 65, 67 of the arms 66, 68.
[0121] For example, the main winding 60 is disposed at a distance d, along the direction of the axis of symmetry X, between the ends 65, 67 of the arms 66, 68. For example, the distance d is greater than or equal to 1 mm, and preferably greater than or equal to 2 mm.
[0122] The ferromagnetic element is for example made of steel, e.g. an iron-nickel alloy or iron-silicon.
[0123] The module 30 further includes, optionally, compensation windings 70, 72, arranged between each end 61, 63 of the main winding 60 and the arms 66, 68 of the ferromagnetic element 62, so as to partially compensate for the play between the conducting wire and the arms 66, 68 of the ferromagnetic element, and to improve electromagnetic performance.
[0124] In one embodiment, the main winding 60 is fixed to the respective arms 66, 68 by means of fixing parts 73, which are for example made of heat-resistant material, for example liquid crystal polymer (or LCP) type plastic.
[0125] The compensation windings 70, 72 are preferably symmetrical.
[0126] The hybrid Rogowski type current sensor 35 thus produced is symmetrical along an axial symmetry with respect to the X axis.
[0127] The module 30 further includes a processing circuit 75, for example an electrical or electronic circuit, connected to the conductor wire.
[0128] In one embodiment the processing circuit is integrated into the programmable electronic circuit 40. For example, the processing circuit includes in particular an anti-aliasing filter, a digital-to-analog conversion block, a time integration block of the electrical signal to obtain a current measurement I(t), and a calculation block of electrical quantities, for example average or root mean square values of the electric current.
[0129] The dimensioning of the ferromagnetic element 62 is chosen in a manner compatible with the dimensions of the unit block 20.
[0130] The internal volume of the inverted C-shaped ferromagnetic element forms part of the through housing 20.
[0131] Preferably, the current sensor 35 is open, and thus compatible with an open electrical quantity measuring device 4.
[0132] In one embodiment, the ferromagnetic element is separable, for example the central rounded portion 64 is separable from the respective arms 66, 68, the main winding 60, with or without compensation windings 70, 72, is being fixed respectively to the arms 66 and 68. For example, the arms 66, 68 are fixed to the support of the main winding by riveting.
[0133] In one embodiment, the rounded central portion 64 has a height hl and each of the arms 66, 68 has a height h2, h2 being less than hl. Advantageously, this ensures a minimum flow circulating in the sensor, guaranteeing a minimum flow exchange surface, and robustness against mechanical play between the parts.
[0134] Alternatively, the heights hl and h2 are equal.
[0135] In one embodiment, the rounded central portion 64 and the arms 66, 68 have a thickness of ferromagnetic material, preferably between 1 and 5mm.
[0136] Advantageously, the current sensor 35 is a high gain sensor, on the order of 250 qV / Amp at 50 Hz.
[0137] Thus, in one embodiment, the rounded portion 64 forms the second part 50 of the module 30 shown in [Fig.5], and the assembly formed by the arms 66, 68, the main winding 60 and the compensation windings 70, 72 form the first part 48 of the module 30.
[0138] It is advantageous to form the separation into two parts in the ferromagnetic element because the ferromagnetic element is robust against repeated opening and closing manipulations.
[0139] As variants, other arrangements of the separation into two parts are conceivable.
[0140] Alternatively, any other type of opening Rogowski sensor may be used, as well as a current transformer or a hall effect sensor.
[0141] The current sensor 35 is connected to an electrical or electronic processing circuit 75, which allows in particular for integration to be carried out to obtain the measurement of electric current.
[0142] In a preferred embodiment, the processing circuit 35 is integrated into the microprocessor 40 of the device 4.
[0143] Advantageously, the proposed current sensor 35 is particularly compact and robust, and allows for good accuracy in measuring electric current.
[0144] An embodiment of a power supply module 34 is described with reference to Figures 9 and 10.
[0145] The power supply module 34 is configured to collect electrical energy from the magnetic field created when the electrical conductor 8, inserted into the housing 22 of the electrical measurement device 4, is traversed by an electric current, and to provide this electrical energy for the power supply of the electronic device 36 integrated into the electrical measurement device 4.
[0146] Thus, the power supply module 34 is configured to convert alternating electrical energy into direct energy to power a load which is the electronic device 36.
[0147] Advantageously, the electrical quantity measurement device 4 is then self-powered and wireless, while continuously providing current and voltage measurements.
[0148] For this purpose, the power supply module 34 includes a current transformation block 80 comprising a current transformer, an AC / DC or AC / DC conversion block 82 with a resonant (or non-resonant) circuit connected to the output of the current transformer block.
[0149] Advantageously, in one embodiment, the AC / DC conversion block 82 is a voltage doubler, for example a Greinacher voltage multiplier circuit.
[0150] Optionally, an impedance matching block 84 is connected to the output of the AC / DC conversion block 82, the output of which is connected to the input of an electrical energy storage block 86. The impedance matching block 84 is optional.
[0151] The module 34 further includes a voltage regulation block 88, adapted to regulate the DC output voltage of the power supply module 34 to the needs of the load.
[0152] An example of electrical circuits enabling the realization of each of the blocks described functionally above with reference to [Fig.9] is illustrated in [Fig. 10].
[0153] The current transformation block 80, comprising a current transformer of the magnetic current transformer type, includes primary and secondary windings (or electrical coils), the electrical currents flowing through these windings being respectively called primary current and secondary current. The secondary current is practically proportional to the primary current and phase-shifted from it by an angle close to zero for a suitable direction of connection.
[0154] In [Fig.10] is shown an equivalent electrical model of such a magnetic current transformer, comprising a current source and an inductive component 90, called the equivalent inductive component, in parallel with the current source, whose inductance L1 is called the equivalent magnetizing inductance of the magnetic current transformer 80.
[0155] The AC / DC conversion block 82 includes a so-called compensation capacitor 92 and a reverse-bias diode 94 connected at the output of the compensation capacitor 92.
[0156] In addition, the block 82 includes another diode 95, connected between a point 91, which is a node between the output of the capacitor 92 and the input of the blocking diode 94 and a point 93 of low potential, for example connected to ground.
[0157] Preferably, the compensation capacitor 92 has a capacitance chosen according to the equivalent magnetizing inductance of the current transformer, so as to obtain resonance and compensate for an energy loss due to the current transformer.
[0158] In one embodiment, the capacitance Cl of the compensation capacitor 92 is calculated as a function of the equivalent magnetizing inductance L1 by the following formula:
[0159] [Math.l] C — * "1
[0160] Where wo is the pulse of the alternating electric current at the output of the trans- block current formation 80, where w0 = 2ttf being the frequency of the electrical signal.
[0161] When the capacitance Cl of the compensation capacitor 92 is calculated by formula [MATH 1], the AC / DC conversion block 82 is said to be resonant with the current transformation block 80. In addition, the AC / DC conversion block further includes another capacitor 96, connected between ground and the output of the blocking diode 94.
[0162] The impedance matching block 84, in one embodiment, comprises an inductance 98 connected to the output of the block 82, a diode 100 connected to the output of the inductance 98 and a transistor 102, connected between a node 95 located between the output of the inductance 98 and the input of the diode 100, controlled by a control signal as a function of the voltage supplied at the output of the module 34. The transistor 102 has a switching function.
[0163] Transistor 102 is, for example, an N-channel MOSFET type field-effect transistor.
[0164] The energy storage block 86 includes a storage capacitor 104 connected between the output of the impedance matching block and ground.
[0165] The control block includes a regulator 106 and, optionally, additional capacitors for energy regulation.
[0166] Various implementation variants of the various blocks 80, 82, 84, 86 and 88 by electrical circuits are applicable.
[0167] Advantageously, in one embodiment, the current transformation block 80 is made in the form of windings associated with a ferromagnetic element, and the AC / DC conversion block 82, the optional impedance matching block 84, the electrical energy storage block 86 and the voltage regulation block 88 are integrated into the programmable electronic circuit 40 (e.g. the microprocessor) of the device 4.
[0168] For example, in one embodiment, a part of the magnetic current transformer of the current transformation block 80 is integrated into the first part 52 and the second part 54 of the module 34 is formed of a ferromagnetic element of the magnetic current transformer of the current transformation block 80. Preferably, the first and second parts are at least partially separable, the power supply module 34 then being openable.
[0169] Advantageously, the use of a Greinacher type voltage doubler makes it possible to compensate for the losses induced by the equivalent magnetizing inductance of the current transformation block.
[0170] Advantageously, the further addition of an impedance matching block makes it possible to optimize the supply of electrical energy by the power supply module 34, while also making it possible to reduce the size of this module.
[0171] This then allows easy integration into a unit block 20, for example of di dimensions less than 50 mm per dimension, for example on the order of 40x45x26 mm.
[0172] Thus, the invention makes it possible to create a particularly compact, communicating and self-powered electrical quantity measurement device.
