Description

Title of the invention: Bracing device for lining a structure Technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of wall lining for thermal and / or sound insulation. This lining is obtained by fixing a frame capable of receiving a facing at a distance from this wall, an insulating material being arranged between the wall and the frame. More specifically, the invention relates to a spacing device for fixing the frame at a distance from a wall. State of the art

[0002] In the field of construction, it is well known that, in the case of interior insulation, a cladding system comprising a layer of insulating material is fixed, for example, under the roof or on the internal face of walls having a face exposed to the outside. More particularly, said cladding system usually comprises a thermal and / or acoustic insulation lining such as mineral wool, preferably a so-called vapor barrier membrane which is attached against the insulation lining, and facing plates such as plasterboard or the like which constitute the lining facing, said facing plates being fixed to a metal frame made up of profiles and attached at a distance from the structure to be lined, the insulation lining being positioned between the structure to be lined and said profiles.

[0003] In order to allow the installation of the insulation lining and the fixing of the profiles of the metal frame, it is well known to use spacer devices which usually provide the dual function of placing the profiles of the structure to be lined at a distance and of holding the insulation lining and the waterproofing membrane in place.

[0004] Such spacing devices are described in particular in documents WO2009 / 103911, EP2110488 and EP3162980.

[0005] Document WO2009 / 103911 describes a bracing device comprising a rod extending in a so-called axial direction, one end of which is provided with means for fixing it to the structural element of the wall to be lined and the other end of which is provided with means for assembly with the lining frame, two jaws surrounding the rod and locking means with axial clamping of these two jaws against each other.

[0006] This type of spacer device has the disadvantage of requiring very precise adjustment of the length of the rod before screwing the fixing plate onto the structure to be doubled. Furthermore, any subsequent adjustment of the position of the rod requires unscrewing and screwing back the fixing plate, which are long and tedious operations.

[0007] Document EP2110488 describes a false ceiling assembly comprising a suspension device which is a length-adjustable device comprising a tubular element rotatably connected to a threaded rod such that rotation of the tubular element changes its position relative to the threaded rod, thereby increasing or decreasing the overall length of the suspended element.

[0008] This type of device, although allowing adjustment of the length of the rod, has the disadvantage of not allowing the threaded rod to be viewed inside the tubular element.

[0009] Document EP3162980 describes a spacing device for lining a structure comprising a rod extending along a longitudinal axis and, at a proximal end of said rod, a first system for fixing it to the structure to be lined and, at a distal end of the rod, a second system for fixing it to a lining element, the first system comprising means for adjustable fixing of the device to a threaded shaft, in which the adjustable fixing means comprise a nut adapted to cooperate with the threaded shaft, the device comprising a free adjustment space adapted to receive the threaded shaft, downstream of the nut. Said rod advantageously comprises at least one radial opening for viewing said free adjustment space.

[0010] Although this type of device has the advantage of allowing adjustment of the fixing length as well as visualization of the adjustment distance, said device has the disadvantage of being composed of complex parts which increases the manufacturing cost of said device. Furthermore, the nut is likely to come out of the radial viewing opening so that, on a construction site, said nut can easily be lost. Disclosure of the invention

[0011] One of the aims of the invention is to overcome these drawbacks by proposing a spacing device for lining a structure of simple and inexpensive design and allowing rapid and easy adjustment of the length of said spacing device with visual control of said length adjustment.

[0012] To this end, and in accordance with the invention, a spacing device is proposed for doubling a structure comprising at least one rod extending along a longitudinal axis and, at a first end called the proximal end of said rod, adjustable fixing means capable of cooperating with a threaded axis integral with the structure to be doubled, and at the opposite end called the distal end of said rod, a part said connection capable of receiving a fixing profile for facing plates; said device is remarkable in that the rod comprises a threaded hole opening at the proximal end of said rod, the internal thread of which is capable of cooperating with the thread of the threaded axis and in that at least said rod is obtained in at least one rigid and transparent polymer.

[0013] Preferably, said rod is obtained from a transparent polymer whose transparency coefficient is greater than or equal to 0.6 and, preferably, greater than or equal to 0.8.

[0014] Furthermore, said rod is obtained from a transparent polymer whose Shore D hardness is greater than or equal to 60.

[0015] Said transparent polymer consists of at least one polyamide.

[0016] Preferably, said polymer consists of a mixture of polyphthalamide (PPA) and polyamide 4,10 (PA410) or polyamide 6 (PA6).

[0017] Alternatively, said transparent polymer consists of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and / or polycarbonate (PC) and / or polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) and / or polyethylene terephthalate and naphthalate (PET / PEN) and / or styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (SAN).

[0018] Furthermore, said so-called connecting part comprises a head of substantially hemispherical shape and provided with a peripheral groove into which the edges of a fixing profile for facing plates can slide.

[0019] Incidentally, said hemispherical head comprises, under the peripheral groove, a corolla-shaped collar.

[0020] According to a first embodiment, the rod and the connecting piece are obtained in a single piece.

[0021] According to a second embodiment, the connecting part comprises a socket comprising securing means capable of cooperating with complementary securing means secured to the rod.

[0022] Preferably, the means for securing the socket to the connecting piece consist of slots made along the wall of the socket and the complementary means for securing the rod consist of lugs extending on either side of the rod, along the latter.

[0023] Advantageously, the device also comprises a so-called support plate capable of being secured to the rod and a joint provided with a central recess for being inserted onto the rod.

[0024] Another object of the invention relates to a lining system comprising at least one threaded shaft and a spacing device according to the invention, said spacing device being fixed to one end of the threaded shaft, the opposite end of the threaded shaft being secured to the structure to be lined.

[0025] A final object of the invention relates to a lining installation comprising a plurality of lining systems according to the invention, as well as at least one insulation lining, fixing profiles for facing plates and possibly a waterproofing membrane. Brief description of the drawings

[0026] Other advantages and characteristics will emerge more clearly from the following description of a single variant embodiment, given as a non-limiting example, of the sealing system according to the invention, with reference to the appended drawings in which:

[0032] [Fig.6] is a side view of the rod of the variant embodiment of the device of spacer according to the invention shown in figures 4 and 5,

[0033] [Fig.7] is a perspective view of the connecting piece of the variant execution of the spacing device according to the invention shown in [Fig.4]. Method of carrying out the invention

[0034] In the remainder of the description, similar or identical elements will be designated by the same references.

[0035] With reference to [Fig.l], the doubling system 1 according to the invention comprises a threaded shaft 2 and a spacing device 3, said spacing device 3 being fixed to one end of the threaded shaft 2 as will be detailed later and the opposite end of the threaded shaft 2 being secured to the structure to be doubled, not shown in the figures, by any means well known to those skilled in the art.

[0036] Said spacing device 3, with reference to figures 1 to 3, consists of a rod 4 extending along a longitudinal axis and, at a first end called proximal of said rod 4, adjustable fixing means 5 capable of cooperating with the threaded axis 2 secured to the structure to be lined, and at the opposite end called distal of said rod 4, a so-called connecting part 6 capable of receiving a fixing profile for facing plates, the profile also called furring and the facing plates not being shown in the figures.

[0037] In this particular embodiment, said rod 4 has a cylindrical shape and is obtained in one piece with the connecting piece 6 extending at the distal end of the rod 4. Furthermore, the adjustable fixing means 5 consist of a tapped hole 7 made at the proximal end of the rod 4, the internal thread of said tapped hole 7 cooperating with the thread of the threaded axis 2 so that the rotation of the rod 4 causes the latter to move along the threaded axis 2 allowing the length of the spacing device to be adjusted.

[0038] It will be observed that, in this particular embodiment, the tapped hole 7 is made over the entire length of the rod 4 in order to allow optimal adjustment of the length of the spacing device; however, it is quite obvious that the tapped hole 7 may be made only over a part of the length of the rod 4, depending on the length of said rod 4, without departing from the scope of the invention.

[0039] In addition, the connecting piece 5 comprises a head 8 of substantially hemispherical shape and provided at its base with a peripheral groove 9 into which the edges of a fixing profile for facing plates, not shown in the figures, can slide. Incidentally, said hemispherical head 8 comprises, under the peripheral groove 9, a collar 10 in the shape of a corolla. Said collar 10 allows better retention of the thermal and / or acoustic insulation lining, not shown in the figures.

[0040] It goes without saying that said collar 10 may have any shape such as a circular shape for example without departing from the scope of the invention.

[0041] In a particularly advantageous manner, the spacing device 3, namely the rod 4 and the connecting piece 6, is obtained in at least one rigid and transparent polymer. Thus, it is possible to visualize the position of the threaded axis 2 in the tapped hole 7 when adjusting the length of said spacing device 3.

[0042] It is quite obvious that the spacing device 3, and more particularly the rod 4, can be obtained from any transparent and rigid plastic well known to those skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the invention.

[0043] Preferably, said rod is obtained from a transparent polymer whose transparency coefficient is greater than or equal to 0.6 and, preferably, greater than or equal to 0.8.

[0044] Furthermore, said rod is obtained from a transparent polymer whose Shore D hardness is greater than or equal to 60.

[0045] Said transparent polymer consists of at least one polyamide. Preferably, said polymer consists of a mixture of polyphthalamide (PPA) and polyamide 4,10 (PA410) or polyamide 6 (PA6). Alternatively, said transparent polymer consists of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and / or polycarbonate (PC) and / or polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) and / or polyethylene terephthalate naphthalate (PET / PEN) and / or styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (SAN).

[0046] It goes without saying that only the rod 4 of the spacer device 3 can be obtained in at least one transparent polymer without departing from the scope of the invention.

[0047] Incidentally, said rigid and transparent polymer may be tinted in the mass provided that it always has a transparency coefficient greater than or equal to 0.6 and, preferably, greater than or equal to 0.8, and a Shore D hardness greater than or equal to 60.

[0048] According to an alternative embodiment, with reference to figures 4 to 7, the doubling system 1 according to the invention comprises in the same way as previously a threaded shaft 2 and a spacing device 3, said spacing device 3 being fixed to one end of the threaded shaft 2 and the opposite end of the threaded shaft 2 being secured to the structure to be doubled, not shown in the figures, by any means well known to those skilled in the art.

[0049] Said spacing device 3, with reference to figures 1 to 3, consists of a rod 4 extending along a longitudinal axis and, at a first end called proximal of said rod 4, adjustable fixing means 5 capable of cooperating with the threaded axis 2 secured to the structure to be lined, and at the opposite end called distal of said rod 4, a part called connection 6 capable of receiving a fixing profile for facing plates, the profile also called furring and the facing plates not being shown in the figures.

[0050] In this particular embodiment, said rod 4 comprises two portions, a so-called proximal portion 4a whose free end is provided with a tapped hole 7 and a so-called distal portion 4b capable of receiving the connecting piece 6, the proximal portion 4a and the distal portion 4b of the rod 4 being separated by an annular groove 11.

[0051] Said connecting piece 6 comprises a cylindrical sleeve 12, comprising securing means 13 capable of cooperating with complementary securing means 14 secured to the rod 4, at the level of the distal portion 4b of the latter.

[0052] The securing means 13 of the socket 12 of the connecting piece 6 consist of slots 15 made along the wall of the socket 12, said slots 15 extending symmetrically on either side of the longitudinal axis of the socket 12 and being spaced at regular intervals, and the complementary securing means 14 of the rod 4 consist of lugs 16 extending on either side of the distal portion 4b of the rod 4, along the latter.

[0053] It is quite obvious that the securing means 13 and the complementary securing means 14 may consist of any other equivalent means known to those skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the invention.

[0054] Furthermore, in order to allow the fixing of a vapor barrier membrane, the spacing device also comprises a so-called support plate 17 capable of being secured to the rod 4 and a seal 18 provided with a central recess 19 to be skewered onto the rod 4, from the free end of the distal portion 4b of the latter.

[0055] Said so-called support plate 17 has a substantially circular shape and comprises a substantially oblong through hole 20 through which said rod 4 can be inserted, said through hole 20 extending radially from the center of the support plate 17 to the peripheral edge of said support plate 17 and having dimensions greater than the diameter of the rod 4 at its radial end and dimensions substantially equal to the diameter of the annular groove 11 of the rod 4. Thus, after introduction of the support plate 17 on the rod 14 until it extends in line with the annular groove 11, said plate 11 is fixed on the rod 4 by moving it according to a transverse movement of said support plate 17.

[0056] Said seal 18 also has a circular shape whose diameter is less than the diameter of the support plate 17. Preferably, said seal 18 is obtained from a synthetic and / or natural elastomer.

[0057] It is clearly understood that, after having positioned the support plate 17 on the rod 4, by a simple transverse movement, the vapor barrier membrane, not shown in the figures, is skewered onto the rod 4 until it bears on said support plate 17, then the seal 18 is positioned on the rod 4, the assembly being held in place by the sleeve 12 of the connecting piece 6 which bears on the seal 18 when the connecting piece 6 is positioned at the end of the rod 4.

[0058] In a particularly advantageous manner, the spacing device 3, namely the rod 4, the plate 17, the seal 18 and the connecting piece 6, is obtained in at least one rigid and transparent polymer. Thus, it is possible to visualize the position of the threaded axis 2 in the tapped hole 7 when adjusting the length of said spacing device 3.

[0059] It is quite obvious that the spacing device 3, and more particularly the rod 4, can be obtained from any transparent and rigid plastic well known to those skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the invention.

[0060] Preferably, said rod 4 is obtained from a transparent polymer whose transparency coefficient is greater than or equal to 0.6 and, preferably, greater than or equal to 0.8.

[0061] Furthermore, said rod 4 is obtained from a transparent polymer whose Shore D hardness is greater than or equal to 60.

[0062] Said transparent polymer consists of at least one polyamide. Preferably, said polymer consists of a mixture of polyphthalamide (PPA) and polyamide 4,10 (PA410) or polyamide 6 (PA6). Alternatively, said transparent polymer consists of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and / or polycarbonate (PC) and / or polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) and / or polyethylene terephthalate and naphthalate (PET / PEN) and / or styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (SAN).

[0063] It goes without saying that only the rod 4 of the spacer device 3 can be obtained in at least one transparent polymer without departing from the scope of the invention.

[0064] Incidentally, said rigid and transparent polymer may be tinted in the mass provided that it always has a transparency coefficient greater than or equal to 0.6 and, preferably, greater than or equal to 0.8, and a Shore D hardness greater than or equal to 60.

[0065] Finally, it is quite obvious that the examples which have just been given are only particular illustrations and in no way limitative as to the fields of application of the invention.
