Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Motor vehicle equipped with an electric compressor on a filter cradle technical field
[0001] The invention has as its technical field the supports for vibrating elements, and more particularly the filter supports for such vibrating elements. Previous techniques
[0002] In an electric vehicle, the air conditioning compressor is electrically powered, whereas in a thermal vehicle it is powered by an accessory belt.
[0003] The introduction of new air conditioning gases, such as CO2 or propane, has led to a modification of the operating cycles of air conditioning compressors, associated with an increase in generated vibrations.
[0004] There is therefore a need for vibration filtering of an electric compressor for a motor vehicle, in order to limit the noise perceived in the passenger compartment. The addition of such filtering requires the use of an intermediate support which results in additional volume, weight, and cost.
[0005] From the prior art, we know of document FR3059746.
[0006] There is a need for vibration filtering of an electric compressor which does not present the technical problems identified above. Description of the invention
[0007] The invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising an electric compressor equipped with a casing, the electric compressor comprising at least three fingers attached to the casing, at least three filter pads each equipped with a metal insert comprising a hole made to allow the insertion of a finger, the electric compressor being disposed in a cradle intended to be attached to the motor vehicle, the cradle being provided with openings into which the filter pads are inserted, the filter pads limiting the vibrations of the electric compressor transmitted to the motor vehicle through the cradle.
[0008] At least one notch may be provided on one side of an opening so as to facilitate the installation of the electric compressor in the cradle.
[0009] A filter pad can be screwed onto a finger so as to be held in place.
[0010] A filter pad may include a filter pad cover around the insert.
[0011] The insert can be forced into the filter housing so as to be held in place by the force resulting from compression.
[0012] The filter pad housing may have a radial shoulder cooperating with a countersink formed on the external surface of the cradle around each opening.
[0013] The filter pad cover can be provided with a clamping means on its outer surface.
[0014] The filter element and the corresponding aperture may have a cylindrical shape.
[0015] The axes normal to each aperture may lie in a plane. Brief description of the drawings
[0016] Other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description, given solely by way of non-limiting example and made with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:
[0017] - Figure [Fig. 1] illustrates an exploded view of an electric compressor according to the invention,

[0021] - Figure [Fig. 5] illustrates the result of installing an electric compressor according to the invention. Detailed description
[0022] Figure [Fig. 1] illustrates an exploded view of an electric compressor 1 according to the invention. The electric compressor 1 is equipped with a housing 2 having at least three fingers 2b, 2c, each intended to cooperate with a filter pad 3a, 3b, 3c. Each filter pad 3a, 3b, 3c is in turn intended to cooperate with openings 6b, 6c formed in a cradle 4. It should be noted that in Figure [Fig. 1], only two openings are visible. However, there are as many openings as there are filter pads and fingers. It should also be noted that the cradle 4 is equipped with at least one notch 9b allowing the passage of a finger 2b at the level of an opening 6b. In Figure [Fig. 1], only one notch 9b is visible at the level of the opening 6b. A similar notch may be provided at the opening arranged symmetrically with respect to opening 6b. In a particular embodiment, a notch is provided at each opening 6b,6c.
[0023] It should be noted that the axes of the openings are contained in the same plane. The insertion of the electric compressor 1 into the cradle 4 is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the axes of the openings.
[0024] Figure [Fig. 2] illustrates the structure of a filter pad 3a, 3b, 3c viewed from one direction from inside the cradle 4. Each filter pad 3a, 3b, 3c comprises a plastic insert 10 having a hole 11, generally blind. The insert 10 is inserted by force in a housing 12 of filter pad so as to be held in place by the force resulting from compression.
[0025] In a particular embodiment, the filter housing 12 has a radial shoulder 13 cooperating with a countersink 14 formed on the external surface of the cradle around each opening 6b, 6c and illustrated in Figure [Fig. 1] and [Fig. 5]. Such an arrangement has the advantage of facilitating the installation of a filter housing by ensuring its insertion along the entire length of the corresponding opening.
[0026] Figure [Fig.3] illustrates the structure of a filter pad 3a,3b,3c seen along a direction from outside the cradle 4. The filter pad cover 12 can also be provided with a clamping means 15 on its outer surface, such as a welded screw head, as illustrated in Figure [Fig.3].
[0027] Finally, the filter pad and the corresponding opening can be cylindrical, which is advantageous due to its ease of machining and the ease of inserting the filter pad into the corresponding opening. Furthermore, a cylindrical shape allows the filter pad to be rotated by rotating the clamping means 15. A tapped hole is provided inside each opening, while a corresponding thread is provided on the external surface of each insert so as to cooperate with the tapped hole to insert or remove the insert from the corresponding opening.
[0028] Figure [Fig. 4] illustrates a cross-sectional view at the level of a finger 2b. The finger 2b is integral with the housing 2 of the electric compressor. The finger 2b is inserted into the blind hole 11 of the insert 10. The insert 10 is itself inserted into the housing 12 of the filter pad 3b. The filter pad 3b is positioned in the opening of the cradle 4 so that its radial shoulder 13 is in contact with the countersink provided at the entrance of the opening formed in the cradle.
[0029] To install the electric compressor 1 in the cradle 4, the following steps are carried out.
[0030] The electric compressor 1 is placed in the cradle 4 so that each finger 2b, 2c is positioned in its corresponding opening 6b, 6c. A notch 9a, 9b facilitates the insertion of the fingers 2b, 2c into the openings 6b, 6c by allowing vertical movement through the cradle at one of said openings 6b, 6c. The filter pads 3a, 3b, 3c are then inserted into each opening 6b, 6c so that each finger 2b, 2c is inserted into the blind hole provided in each filter pad 3a, 3b, 3c. Each filter pad 3a, 3b, 3c is then screwed in, notably by means of the clamping means 15, such as a welded screw, located on the surface. Any clamping method 15 can be used, such as a nut-type profile, specific recess, Torx, Phillips,
