Description

Title of the invention: Technical block for a portable vacuum cleaner, portable vacuum cleaner and method for assembling a portable vacuum cleaner combined technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of handheld vacuum cleaners and, in particular, to the assembly of handheld vacuum cleaners. Such vacuum cleaners generally have a modular assembly structure composed of various sub-assemblies designed to be assembled together during the assembly phase of the handheld vacuum cleaner. To this end, the vacuum cleaner generally comprises a first sub-assembly including a technical unit equipped with a motor assembly and a second sub-assembly including a handle unit designed to be assembled to the technical unit. Prior art

[0002] EP3632284 B1 is known to designate a technical unit for a portable vacuum cleaner comprising a motor assembly and a plurality of electrical power cables extending between the motor assembly and a power connector. Such a technical unit is suitable for assembly with a handle unit. The handle unit comprises a plurality of electrical cables extending between an energy storage system, such as a battery, and an electrical connector suitable for connection to the power connector following an assembly phase of the technical unit to the handle unit.

[0003] Such a technical block makes it possible to simplify the manufacture of the vacuum cleaner since it is possible to manufacture independently two sub-assemblies of the vacuum cleaner suitable for being assembled together during the assembly of the vacuum cleaner.

[0004] However, the structure of the technical block and the handle block of EP3632284 B1 is complex, which negatively impacts the reliability and manufacturing cost of such components. Summary of the invention

[0005] The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks.

[0006] The technical problem underlying the invention consists of proposing a technical block for a portable vacuum cleaner that is easy to assemble and offers reliability and a reduced cost for the portable vacuum cleaner.

[0007] To this end, the invention relates to a technical block for a portable vacuum cleaner comprising: a main body receiving a motor assembly; a cable support piece; a power connector suitable for connection to an energy storage system of the vacuum cleaner; a set of first electrical cables extending from the motor assembly to the power connector via the cable support piece, the cable support piece comprising elements for retaining the The first electrical cables; the technical unit being configured so that, during the assembly phase of the handheld vacuum cleaner, it is attached to a handle unit comprising a handle and a housing for receiving the main body. According to the invention, the cable support piece is designed, during the assembly phase, to be attached inside the handle.

[0008] Thanks to the invention, the technical block integrates all the electrical / electronic functions, and the handle block simply serves as a mechanical interface for connecting the various components of the handheld vacuum cleaner. Thus, the structure of the handle block is simplified, and the reliability of the vacuum cleaner is improved because, unlike the aforementioned prior art, it is not necessary to provide an electrical connection between the handle block and the technical block to power the motor assembly. Furthermore, this integration of electrical / electronic functions optimizes the manufacturing cost of the vacuum cleaner.Furthermore, the technical unit allows for easy mounting on the handle assembly, as the main body is designed to fit into the designated slot on the handle. The support piece facilitates the integration of electrical cables into the handle and ensures the correct positioning of the power connector for connection to the vacuum cleaner's energy storage system, such as a power battery. Additionally, the support piece ensures that the initial electrical cables are securely held during transport of the technical unit and properly positioned during assembly.

[0009] According to advantageous but not mandatory aspects of the invention, such a technical block for a portable vacuum cleaner may incorporate one or more of the following features, taken in any technically permissible combination.

[0010] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the main body also includes an electronic control board for the vacuum cleaner and the technical block includes a set of second electrical cables extending from the electronic control board to the power connector via the cable support piece, the cable support piece including elements for retaining the second electrical cables.

[0011] Such an arrangement ensures that the second set of electrical cables is securely held during transport of the technical unit and correctly positioned during assembly. Furthermore, this arrangement ensures that the electronic control board receives power via these second electrical cables.

[0012] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the cable support piece includes a housing for receiving an electronic support board for at least one vacuum cleaner control button adapted to cooperate with an actuator mounted on the handle.

[0013] Such an arrangement ensures the correct positioning of the control button relative to the actuator during the assembly phase, as well as good support for the control button and the associated electronic board during transport of the technical block.

[0118] The assembly of vacuum cleaner 2 will now be described.

[0119] During an initial step, the technical block 6 and the pignée block 8 are provided to an operator to carry out the assembly.

[0120] Next, the main body 14 is positioned in the receiving housing 40 of the main body. For this purpose, the human-machine interface 28 is slid into the groove 116. A translational movement of the human-machine interface 28 in the groove 116 of the receiving housing 40 is carried out.

[0121] Then, in a subsequent step, the main body 14 is fixed to the receiving housing 40 via the fastening elements 59. Advantageously, during this step, the cover 35 is removed from the rear face of the main body 14, and the operator then accesses the fastening elements, which he manipulates to perform the fixing operation. The operator then repositions the cover 35 on the rear face.

[0122] Next, the cable support piece 20 is positioned inside the handle 38 at the recess 80. [0124] In a subsequent step the rear shell 38B is assembled with the front shell 38A.

[0125] Next, a step of fixing the storage system 12 to the base 44 is carried out.

[0126] Finally, the waste separation device 10 is fixed to the handle block 8 at the level of the housing 42 so that the reversible fixing system cooperates with the waste separation device 10.
