Abstract

Light Sensor This description relates to a method for manufacturing a light sensor comprising a pixel array, each pixel being associated with a microlens having an offset relative to the pixel. For each axis of a plurality of axes passing through the optical center of the array, for each pixel on said axis, and for each of a plurality of angles of incidence of the light, a pixel response value is obtained (202). Based on the response values, for each axis and each pixel on said axis, a first function (F1max(d,ψ)) providing the angle of incidence of the light for which the pixel has the best response value is determined (204). For each axis and for each pixel on said axis, a second offset value enabling the first function (F1max(d,ψ)) to be brought closer to a target function (F2maxtarget(d,ψ)) is determined (206). The sensor is manufactured (212) using the second offset values. Figure for the abstract: Fig.2.

Claims

9. A method according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the sensor is configured to be assembled with a lens module and, in step 3), the second function (F2maxtarget(d,rp)) is determined by the angle function of the main ray (700) of the lens module.

10. A light sensor comprising a matrix (100) of pixels (102) each associated with a microlens (104) having an offset relative to the center (01) of the pixel (102) along an axis passing through the optical center (O) of the matrix (100) and through the pixel (102), wherein, for each of a plurality of axes (E, F) passing through the center of the matrix, the value of the offset along this axis between a pixel (102E, 102F) arranged on said axis (E) and its associated microlens (102) is determined by the distance (d) of the pixel (102E, 102F) relative to the optical center (O) of the matrix and is different, for the same distance (d6), between at least two axes (E, F) of the plurality of axes.

11. The light sensor of claim 10, wherein the orientation of each of at least two axes among the plurality of axes is determined by the shape and orientation of the pixels.

12. A light sensor according to claim 10 or 11, wherein: a plurality of isometric lines (500, 502) of the offset values are defined such that the isometric lines (500, 502) are concentric with the optical center (O) and each isometric line (500) passes through each pixel (102A, 102B, 102C, 102D) of each axis (E, F) of the plurality of axes having an offset value (sv_new) between said pixel (102A, 102B, 102C, 102D) and its associated microlens (104) that is equal to the offset value (sv_new) of said isometric line (500); and the value of the offset between each pixel (102E) and its associated microlens (104) along an axis (K) passing through the optical center (O) of the matrix (100) and through said pixel (102E) is determined by, for example is equal to, the value of the offset (sv_new) of the isometric line (500) passing through said pixel (102E).

13. A light sensor according to any one of claims 10 to 12, wherein the plurality of axes comprises exactly two axes (E, F).

14. The light sensor of claim 12, wherein the plurality of axes comprises exactly two axes (E, F) and each isometric line (500, 502) has an elliptical shape. [Fig. 1] sv! Fig. 1 [Fig. 2] Fig. 2 3To
