Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Wiping device, in particular for a motor vehicle, with a snug-fitting wiper blade. FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a wiping device intended in particular for a motor vehicle and in particular a passenger vehicle or a heavy goods vehicle. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] According to document DE 198 54 307 A1, a windscreen wiper blade is known for cleaning vehicle windows. This windscreen wiper blade comprises a bracket system for holding a wiping blade.
[0003] DISCLOSURE AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The present invention relates to a wiping device, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising a wiping arm and a wiping blade,
[0005] * the wiping blade having a wiping lip and a fixing part by which the wiper blade attaches to the wiper arm,
[0006] this device being characterized in that
[0007] - the wiping arm has a receiving member, elongated, in a longitudinal direction,
[0008] - the fixing part is at least practically made in the form of a profile hollow fitted during assembly in the longitudinal extension direction on the receiving member of the wiping arm, and
[0009] - the hollow profile of the wiper blade in the installed state surrounds at least partially the receiving organ, elongated.
[0010] The wiping device according to the invention has the advantage of better design and functionality allowing simple construction as well as ease of replacement of the wiping blade.
[0011] Advantageously, the device comprises at least one connecting element which retains the wiper blade in the installed state against any extraction of the wiper arm in the longitudinal direction of extension, which allows the user to simply replace the wiper blade. In addition, there is an advantageous attachment of the wiper blade to the wiper arm.
[0012] According to another advantageous characteristic, the connecting element is a manual hooking or clipping element which allows the wiper blade to be simply replaced without tools and the actuation of the hooking element is intuitive.
[0013] Advantageously, the wiping arm has a hooking element which engages in a recess made in the hollow profile to fix the wiping blade to the wiping arm. The hooking element is thus clearly visible from the outside. which simplifies its operation and makes it intuitive for a wiper blade replacement. The hooking element can be in the form of an elastic element. In particular, the hooking element is a plastic element.
[0014] According to another advantageous feature, an end piece is connected to the hollow profile of the wiping blade. The wiping blade is thus fixed to the wiping arm by the end piece, which makes it possible to produce wiping blades which are at least partly made of a relatively flexible material. It is possible to produce wiping blades which form a closed envelope on the hollow profile. In addition, there is greater freedom of construction, in particular for the geometry of the hollow profile.
[0015] According to an advantageous characteristic, an end piece is mechanically and / or permanently and / or by clamping and / or by a chemical bond connected to the hollow profile of the wiper blade. This facilitates the replacement of the wiper blade. In particular, the user can pull the wiper blade by the end piece to remove it from the wiper arm.
[0016] According to an advantageous characteristic, the hooking element produced on the end piece engages in the hollow end of the wiping arm and snaps into a recess produced in the hollow end of the wiping arm to fix the wiping blade, which thus guarantees the fixing of the wiping blade.
[0017] According to another advantageous characteristic, the hollow profile of the wiping blade surrounds the elongated receiving member all around, in the installed state which allows better fixing of the wiping blade to the wiping arm preventing the penetration of dirt between the wiping blade and the wiping arm.
[0018] Advantageously, the hollow profile is rigid and the wiping lip is flexible, which guarantees the holding of the fixing in the case of a possible embodiment with a recess for the hooking connection in the hollow profile and guarantees the holding of the fixing. If necessary, there is an advantageous fixing of the wiping blade to the wiping arm simplifying the replacement of the wiping blade.
[0019] According to an advantageous feature, the wiping blade is produced by coextrusion. It is thus possible to combine in a targeted manner a material having certain desired properties. In particular, the material of the wiping lip and the material of the hollow profile can be selected in a targeted manner, to meet the imposed requirements.
[0020] Advantageously, the hollow profile of the wiping lip is elastic and the wiping blade is preferably a mono-extrusion component which simplifies production.
[0021] The wiper blade may be at least partly a tubular blade. The wiper blade is made with a simple shape for its replacement which allows the user to install it in a simple manner on the wiper arm in particular of put it on or put it on and at the end of the period of use, take it off again, in particular by pulling or pushing it.
[0022] The wiping device may comprise, in addition to the wiping arm and the wiping blade, also other components. The wiping arm may in particular be connected directly to the electric motor or to its axle. The wiping blade advantageously enables the operation of the wiping lip.
[0023] According to a possible development, the wiping arm comprises means for holding, detaching or replacing the wiping blade.
[0024] The hollow profile of the wiper blade can, according to an advantageous development, be pulled onto the outside of the wiper arm. The wiper arm can thus support the wiper blade fitted or otherwise installed on the wiper arm by the profile or profile body of the wiper arm preferably over the entire length of the hollow profile. Thus the profile of the wiper arm along its extension in the longitudinal direction will be at least substantially the same length as the wiper blade. The hollow profile, in particular a hollow profile of tubular shape, is preferably extruded.
[0025] According to an advantageous development, the wiping device has a function for releasing the wiping blade. This release function can be activated by pressing a button. The wiping blade is thus removably fixed to the profile of the wiping arm. Preferably, the wiping blade is easily removed from the wiping arm, for example, with sufficient clearance between the wiping blade and the wiping arm. The wiping blade is held on the wiping arm by a fixing mechanism which is released by the release function. One or more recesses, in particular cutouts, are provided in the hollow profile of the wiping blade. The wiping arm comprises one or more connecting elements, in particular hooking elements. According to one embodiment, several connecting elements engage in a corresponding number of recesses.
[0026] According to an advantageous development, the wiping device has a tip which can also have the function of an end cap. The tip is mechanically connected to the wiping blade. The tip can also be connected to the wiping blade by clamping. Furthermore, the tip can be connected to the wiping blade by a material bond and / or a chemical bond. The tip can also be connected in a fixed, i.e. non-detachable manner to the wiping blade. The tip closes the end of the wiping blade and, if appropriate, the end of the wiping arm and thus simultaneously constitutes an end cap.
[0027] According to an advantageous development, the wiping blade is removed using the end piece. The hollow profile of the wiping blade is connected to the end piece, for example mechanically by clamping or by a chemical bond. The wiping blade can then be removed, in particular, it can be pulled by the user pulling on the end piece. The end piece has a connecting element, in particular a hooking element, which creates a removable connection with the wiper blade. The connecting element provided on the end piece is appropriately controlled with a button to release the connection. Brief description of the drawings

[0041] DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS
[0042] [Fig.l] shows a wiping device 1 with a wiping arm 2 and a wiping blade 3 according to a schematic perspective view presenting a first embodiment. The wiping device 1 is intended for a motor vehicle such as passenger vehicles or heavy goods vehicles.
[0043] [Fig. 2] shows the wiping arm 2 of the wiping device 1 of [Fig. 1] in a schematic perspective view of the first embodiment. [Fig. 3] shows the wiping blade 3 of the wiping device 1 of [Fig. 1] in a schematic perspective view of the first embodiment.
[0044] The wiper blade 3 has a fixing piece 4 and a wiping lip 5. The fixing piece 4 connects the wiper blade 3 to the wiper arm 2 when the blade is installed as shown in [Fig.l] on the wiper arm 2.
[0045] The wiping arm 2 has a receiving member 7, elongated, in the longitudinal extension direction 6. The fixing part 4 is in the form of a hollow profile 8 which, according to one embodiment, is adapted by its shape to the receiving member 7, elongated. This is particularly the case if the hollow profile 8 is rather rigid. But also in the case of a rather flexible embodiment of the hollow profile 8 it is advantageous to have a geometric adaptation to the shape of the receiving member 7, elongated.
[0046] The hollow profile 8 in the installed state slightly protrudes, along the longitudinal extension 6, the end 9 of the wiping arm 2 of the wiping device 1.
[0047] [Fig.4] shows the wiping device 1 of [Fig.l] in a schematic perspective view of the first embodiment during the replacement of the wiping blade 3 for the description of the structure and operation. The figure shows the installation or removal of the wiping blade 3 which is only partially installed on the wiping arm 2.
[0048] During assembly, the hollow profile 8 is fitted along the longitudinal extension 6 onto the receiving member 7 of the wiping arm 2. The expression "fit" is to be taken in the broad sense and includes the operation by which the user pulls or removes the wiping blade 3 appropriately. The expression "remove" must be understood in the same broad sense.
[0049] [Fig. 5] shows the section of the wiping arm 2 and the wiping blade 3 in a schematic section through the plane V perpendicular to the longitudinal extension 6 of the wiping arm 2. In the installed state, the hollow profile 8 of the wiping blade 3 of this embodiment completely surrounds the elongated receiving member 7. According to an alternative embodiment, the hollow profile also comprises, for example, along the longitudinal extension, one or more slots or other recesses; such slots or recesses are not necessarily over the entire longitudinal extension. The hollow profile 8 surrounds the receiving member 7 in the installed state, only partially due to the slots or recesses.
[0050] [Fig. 6] shows a schematic perspective view of a wiping device 1 with a wiping arm 2 and a wiping blade 3 to present a second embodiment. This embodiment comprises a connecting element 15 which, in the installed state, holds the wiping blade 3 against its extraction along the longitudinal extension 6 relative to the wiping arm 2.
[0051] The connecting element 15 of this embodiment is a hooking element 16 carried by the wiping arm 2 and actuated manually.
[0052] [Fig.7] shows a detail of the wiping device 1 of [Fig.6] according to a schematic perspective representation of the second embodiment; the figure shows the case of the placement or installation of the wiping blade 3 on the wiping arm 2. [Fig.8] shows the detail of the wiping device 1 of [Fig.7] of the second embodiment in the installed state.
[0053] The connecting element 15 enters the recess 17 of the hollow profile 8 to fix the wiper blade 3 to the wiper arm 2. In this embodiment, the connecting element 15 designed as a hooking element 16 comes into the recess 17 when the wiper blade 3 has been slid from the position shown in [Fig. 7], in the mounting direction 24 to the installed position, shown in [Fig. 8]. The hooking element 7 has a button-shaped actuating element 18 connected by an elastic tab 19 to the remainder of the wiper arm 2. By pressing the actuating button 18, the wiper blade 3 can be detached to remove it in the direction opposite to the mounting direction 24.
[0054] In this embodiment, the wiping arm 2 has a profiled body 20 and a fixing body 21 with a fixing eyelet 22. The elastic tab 19 and the actuating button 18 are separated in the profiled body 20 by slots from the remainder of the profiled body 20 to form a spring 23, in particular a plastic spring 23. The fixing eyelet 22 makes it possible to connect to the output shaft of an electric motor.
[0055] [Fig. 9] shows a wiping device 1 with a wiping arm 2 and a wiping blade 3 in a schematic perspective view showing a third embodiment. In this embodiment, the wiping device 1 has an additional end piece 25. The additional end piece 25 is preferably connected to the wiping blade 3.
[0056] The additional end piece 25 connected to the wiping blade 3 facilitates the extraction of the wiping blade 3 from the wiping arm 2. The end piece 25 is connected to the hollow profile 8 of the wiping blade 3. The end piece 25 is connected for example mechanically, integrally, by clamping or by a chemical bond to the hollow profile 8 of the wiping blade 3.
[0057] In this embodiment, the hooking element 16 is on the wiping arm 2 and the end piece 25 closes the end 9.
[0058] [Fig. 10] shows a wiping device 1 with a wiping arm 2 and a wiping blade 3 in a schematic perspective view to present a fourth embodiment with an additional end piece 25. In this embodiment, the end piece 25 makes it possible to fix the wiping blade 3 to the wiping arm 2 and to close the wiping arm 2. The actuating button 18 and the elastic tab 19 are produced on the end piece 25.
[0059] [Fig. 11] shows a detail of the wiping device 1 of [Fig. 10] which corresponds to the fourth embodiment according to a schematic perspective view showing the mounting of the wiping blade 3 on the wiping arm 2. [Fig. 12] shows the detail of [Fig.l 1] in the installed state. The hollow profile 8 of the wiping blade 3 is represented by a broken line. The hooking element 16 is produced on the end piece 25.
[0060] To fix the wiper blade 3, the end piece 25 to the wiper arm 2 is connected by a hook connection when the wiper blade 3 is installed. [Fig. 11] shows the fitting of the end piece 25 in the mounting direction 24. Pushing the actuating button 18 releases the hook connection and allows the end piece 25 to be removed from its installed position, shown in [Fig. 12], again acting in the opposite direction to the mounting direction 24 ([Fig. 11]).
[0061] In this embodiment, the hooking element 16 is on the end piece 25 which removes the hooking element 16 from the wiping arm 2.
[0062] In the installed state, the end piece 25 is preferably engaged in the hollow end 27 of the wiping arm 2.
[0063] Advantageously, to fix the wiping blade 3, the hooking element 16 is hooked into a recess 28 made in the hollow end 27 of the wiping arm 2 when the wiping blade 3 is installed on the wiping arm 2.
[0064] In the described embodiments, the hollow profile 8 is rigid and the wiping lip 5 is elastic. The wiping blade 3 can be produced by coextrusion (coextrusion component).
[0065] According to a variant, the hollow profile 8 and the wiping lip 5 are elastic. The wiping blade 3 can then be produced by mono-extrusion 36. This is in particular advantageous for embodiments which do not have a recess 17 for a connection by hooking with the wiping blade 3.
