Abstract
A method for displaying an obstacle using a multifocal head-up display of a motor vehicle comprises the steps of: detecting (33) the presence of an obstacle in the environment of the vehicle, the detection comprising the distance from the vehicle of the obstacle; displaying (37) on the head-up display a symbol of the obstacle at a focal distance correlated with the distance of the obstacle. A system for displaying an obstacle using a multifocal head-up display of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle comprising the system are also described. Figure to be published with the abstract: Fig 3
