Secondary packaging (100) for a cosmetic product, the secondary packaging comprising: a first cylindrical portion (102) comprising a plurality of grooves (110), each of the grooves (110) extending around a central axis (101) of the first cylindrical portion (102) in a helical profile; and a second cylindrical portion (104) comprising a plurality of ribs (116), each of the ribs (116) extending about a central axis (101) of the second cylindrical portion (104) in a helical profile, wherein the plurality of grooves (110) of the first cylindrical portion (102) and the plurality of ribs (116) of the second cylindrical portion (104) are adapted to slidably engage each other, and the first cylindrical portion (102), the second cylindrical portion (1040), or both comprise a fiber-based composition.

2. The secondary package (100) of claim 1, wherein a diameter of the first cylindrical portion (102) is greater than a diameter of the second cylindrical portion (104).

3. A secondary package (100) according to any one of claims 1 or 2, wherein a length in an axial direction of the first cylindrical portion (102) is greater than a length in an axial direction of the second cylindrical portion (104).

4. A secondary package (100) according to any one of claims 1 or 2, wherein a length in an axial direction of the first cylindrical portion (102) is substantially the same as a length in an axial direction of the second cylindrical portion (104).

11. A secondary package (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 9, further comprising a decoration disposed on the first cylindrical portion (102), the second cylindrical portion (104), or both.

13. A secondary package (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 12, further enclosing a cosmetic product enclosed by a primary package (130).

15. A method of manufacturing the secondary packaging (100) of any one of claims 1 to 14, the method comprising: molding the first cylindrical portion (102), the second cylindrical portion (104), or both; and engaging the first cylindrical portion (102) with the second cylindrical portion (104).

16. The method of claim 15, wherein the first cylindrical portion (102), the second cylindrical portion (104), or both are independently molded by a wet molding process or a dry molding process.

17. A method of using the secondary package (100) of any one of claims 1 to 16, the method comprising: moving the first engaged cylindrical portion (102) or the second cylindrical portion (104) relative to each other.

18. The method of claim 17, wherein moving the engaged first cylindrical portion (102) or the second cylindrical portion (104) relative to each other comprises moving the first cylindrical portion (102) or the second cylindrical portion (104) toward each other.
