Abstract

Motor vehicle comprising: - a floor (1), - an electrical energy storage battery (2) held under the floor (1), and having a first face (F1) against the floor (1), a second face (F2) from below opposite the ground (S), a side (C1) connecting the two faces (F1, F2), and an overpressure safety system (4) configured to allow a jet of gas (5) from a cell of the battery (2) to escape outside the battery (2), - an air space (E) delimited by at least a portion of the underside of the floor (1) protruding from the first face (F1), the side (C1) of the battery extended by a vertical plane (PV), and the ground (S), the overpressure safety system (4) being configured to cause the jet of gas (5) to open into the air space (E).
