Abstract

Tool for handling belts safely. The invention relates to a device for driving belts without risk of injury to the hands during inspection, disassembly or assembly operations on pulleys. It consists of a main rod having 2 fixed holes at one end to screw a knurled shaft and an oblong hole to adapt a second knurled shaft depending on the thickness of the belt to be worked. A removable handle is at the other end. When the user exerts pressure and traction on the handle, once the belt is wedged between the two knurled shafts, the belt will move according to the movement initiated by the user. The device allows, in addition to avoiding direct injuries to the hands, to multiply the user's strength and reduce musculoskeletal disorders. The device according to the invention is intended for the control, maintenance and handling of all types of belts in all fields.
