Description

Title of the invention: FIXING INTERFACE FROM AN ACCESSORY ON A LUGGAGE RACK AND LUGGAGE RACK SET TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of bicycle carrying systems. The invention relates in particular to an interface for attaching an accessory to a luggage rack, and to a luggage rack assembly equipped with an attachment interface. TECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Various bicycle accessories exist, such as carrying devices like panniers, baskets, trunks, trunk bags, or child seats, which are attached to the front or rear rack of the bicycle. Typically, a front or rear rack comprises side bars and at least one crossbar connecting the two side bars.

[0003] Removable mounting interfaces exist that are configured to be attached to the clip-on accessory and include a means for clipping directly onto the side and / or crossbars of the luggage rack. However, such mounting interfaces generally have a complex geometry and do not allow the accessory to be securely attached to the luggage rack, i.e., they do not prevent the accessory from loosening or even detaching from the luggage rack while the bicycle is in use, nor do they prevent the accessory from being stolen when the bicycle is not in use.

[0004] There is a need for a removable fixing interface allowing the attachment of accessories in a quick and secure manner on a luggage rack of substantially standard dimensions with a large carrying volume. Summary of the invention

[0005] The invention offers a solution to the problems mentioned above, by proposing a fixing interface with a particular geometry.

[0006] A first aspect of the invention relates to an interface for attaching an accessory to a luggage rack, the attachment interface comprising: - a platform comprising a first and a second longitudinal section opposed to each other in a transverse direction, and connected to each other by at least one transverse section, - a clipping means comprising at least one first hook arranged on the first longitudinal section, and at least one second hook arranged on the second longitudinal section, at least one of the first and second The hook is a pivoting hook mounted movably on the platform, pivoting between a closed and an open position. - a means of actuating the pivoting hook from its closed position to its open position, - a means of locking the swivel hook in its closed position - at least one longitudinal translation stop for the platform.

[0007] The fastening interface according to the first aspect of the invention, thanks to the presence of at least one pivoting hook attached to an actuating means, allows the fastening interface to be installed and removed directly onto the bars of a luggage rack. Furthermore, the presence of a locking means for the pivoting hook allows the fastening interface to be securely locked onto the luggage rack and separates the installation / removal function from the locking function of the fastening interface relative to the luggage rack. In addition, the presence of a longitudinal translation stop limits the translational movement of the fastening interface relative to the luggage rack, in a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the transverse direction.

[0008] According to a first embodiment of the clipping means for the fastening interface according to the first aspect of the invention, the first and second hooks of the clipping means each have a concave face oriented in opposite directions to each other, along the transverse direction. The concave face corresponds to the curved, recessed surface of the hook which is intended to come into contact with a transverse or lateral bar of the luggage rack.

[0009] According to a second embodiment of the means for clipping the fastening interface according to the first aspect of the invention: - the first and second hooks of the clipping means each have a concave face oriented in the same direction relative to each other, along the transverse direction, and - the fixing interface includes at least one stop to block transverse translation of the platform.

[0010] According to a particular example of the clipping means for the fastening interface according to the first aspect of the invention, the first and second hooks of the clipping means are arranged opposite each other in the transverse direction. This feature optimizes the positioning of the fastening interface relative to the luggage rack in the transverse direction.

[0011] According to another particular example of the clipping means for the fastening interface according to the first aspect of the invention, the clipping means comprises two first hooks and two second hooks, whereby the first hooks are fixed hooks and the second hooks are pivoting hooks. Such This feature allows all the pivoting hooks and the actuation means to be arranged on the same side of the platform, i.e. on the second lateral section of the platform, and thus facilitates the actuation of the pivoting hooks by the actuation means.

[0012] Advantageously, the actuating means includes a handle attached to each pivoting hook of the clipping means. This feature allows all the pivoting hooks to be actuated synchronously by the handle of the actuating means. Furthermore, the synchronization of the pivoting hooks allows all the pivoting hooks to be locked synchronously by the locking means.

[0013] Preferably, the locking means is arranged on one of the longitudinal sections of the platform. This feature facilitates access to the locking means of the mounting interface when it is in the position mounted on the luggage rack.

[0014] Advantageously, the mounting interface comprises at least one pair of two longitudinal translational locking stops for the platform, spaced apart along a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the transverse direction. Such a feature makes it possible to block the translational movement of the mounting interface relative to the luggage rack along the longitudinal direction, in both directions.

[0015] A second aspect of the invention relates to an interface for attaching an accessory to a luggage rack, the attachment interface comprising: - a platform comprising a first and a second longitudinal section opposed to each other in a transverse direction, and connected to each other by at least one transverse section, - a clipping means comprising at least a first hook arranged on the first longitudinal section, and at least a second hook arranged on the second longitudinal section, at least one of the first or second hooks being a sliding hook mounted to move in translation on the platform, in the transverse direction, between a wide and a narrow position, and - a means of locking the sliding hook from its extended position to its extended position.

[0016] The fastening interface according to the second aspect of the invention, thanks to the presence of at least one sliding hook, allows the fastening interface to be installed and removed directly onto the bars of a luggage rack, adapting to the dimensions of the luggage rack and more particularly to the distance between two longitudinal or transverse bars of the luggage rack. Furthermore, the presence of a means The sliding hook locking mechanism allows the mounting interface to be securely locked onto the luggage rack.

[0017] According to a first embodiment of the clipping means for the fastening interface according to the second aspect of the invention, the first and second hooks of the clipping means each have a concave face oriented in opposite directions to each other, along the transverse direction. The concave face corresponds to the curved, recessed surface of the hook which is intended to come into contact with a transverse or lateral bar of the luggage rack.

[0018] According to a second embodiment of the means for clipping the fastening interface according to the second aspect of the invention: - the first and second hooks of the clipping means each have a concave face oriented transversely in the same direction relative to each other, along the transverse direction, and - the fixing interface includes at least one stop to block transverse translation of the platform.

[0019] According to a particular example of the clipping means for the fastening interface according to the second aspect of the invention, the first and second hooks of the clipping means are arranged opposite each other in the transverse direction. This feature optimizes the positioning of the fastening interface relative to the luggage rack in the transverse direction.

[0020] According to another particular example of the clipping means of the fastening interface according to the second aspect of the invention, the clipping means comprises two pairs of a first and a second hooks according to which each of the first and second hooks are sliding hooks.

[0021] Advantageously, the mounting interface includes at least one stop to prevent longitudinal translation of the platform. Such a feature makes it possible to maintain the mounting interface in position on the luggage rack and to prevent any translational movement in a longitudinal direction.

[0022] Preferably, the fastening interface has the following characteristics: - Each sliding hook of the clipping mechanism includes an extension comprising a first part arranged against the platform and provided with a fixing hole, and - The locking mechanism includes: • a transverse guide slot arranged in the platform, and • a clamping screw received in the guide slot and in the fixing hole of the sliding hook.

[0023] Advantageously, the fastening interface has the characteristics described in the preceding paragraph and the following characteristics: - the clipping means comprises at least one pair of a first and a second hook, of which at least one of the first and second hooks of the pair is a sliding hook, the first and second hooks of the pair being arranged transversely opposite each other and each comprising an extension including: • a first section arranged against the platform, and • a second part perpendicular to the first part and comprising a through hole, and - the fixing interface includes a means for actuating the sliding hook from its extended position to its extended position, comprising an adjustment screw received in the through hole of the first hook and in the through hole of the second hook.

[0024] Such a feature allows the distance between the two hooks of the same pair to be adjusted by tightening or loosening the adjusting screw of the actuating means associated with the pair of hooks. Furthermore, in the case where the pair comprises two sliding hooks, such a feature allows the two sliding hooks of the pair to be actuated synchronously by the adjusting screw of the actuating means, thus ensuring the transverse centering of the hooks relative to the platform.

[0025] A third aspect of the invention relates to a luggage rack assembly comprising: - a luggage rack comprising a first longitudinal bar and a second longitudinal bar connected to each other by at least one transverse bar, - a first fixing interface according to the first or second aspect of the invention, mounted on the luggage rack and according to which the first and second hooks of the clipping means are fixed respectively on the first and second longitudinal bars of the luggage rack.
