[0001] This disclosure relates to a separator device for a cooking dish, in particular a dish intended for culinary preparation, for example a dish that can go in the oven. technical field

Some dishes include grooves for holding a divider, which can hinder the preparation of the food when used without the divider. Furthermore, the presence of grooves in these dishes limits the number of dividers that can be used.

[0026] Reference is now made to [Fig. 1]. This figure shows a dish 2 intended for cooking food, inside of which there is a separator 4.

[0027] The dish 2 has a base 6 and is surrounded by four side walls, two large side walls 8 alternating with two small side walls 10. The base 6 and the side walls define a concave space intended to hold food (meat, vegetables, sweet or savory dishes, etc.) in a conventional manner. The dish 2 is, for example, made of metal and may be coated, on the inside of the concave space, with a non-stick coating, for example, a ceramic coating. The base 6 is preferably flat and is intended to be oriented horizontally. It will be assumed hereafter that the base is horizontal. The side walls (large side walls 8 and small side walls 10) extend from the base 6 and form a slightly obtuse angle with said base (to facilitate unmolding when the dish is used as a mold, for example, for a flan, a cake, or something similar).Each large side wall 8 is connected to a small side wall 10 by a rounded portion 12. In the illustrated embodiment, each small side wall 10 is provided with a rim extending outwards substantially parallel to the bottom 6 and thus forming a handle 14 facilitating the gripping of the dish 2.

[0028] The separator 4 is shaped to fit the shape of the plate 2. This separator 4 allows the concave space defined by the bottom 6 and the side walls described above to be divided into two parts.

[0030] The core 16 is a glass plate, preferably tempered glass. Its shape is adapted to the plate 2 and substantially reproduces the shape and dimensions of a wall lateral, in the illustrated example of a small side wall 10. Thus, the overall shape of the separator 4 (and its core) is that of an isosceles trapezoid with rounded corners. The separator 4 advantageously has two planes of symmetry: a first median plane in the thickness and a second plane, transverse to the first and corresponding approximately to the section plane ILII of [Fig.1].

[0033] To divide the space inside the dish 2 into two spaces, simply position the separator 4, orienting it approximately vertically and (without taking into account the inclination of the side walls relative to the vertical) parallel to the small side walls 10 of the dish 2, and then, by moving it vertically towards the bottom 6, bring it into contact with the bottom 6 and the large side walls 8. The separator 4 is then held in place by friction and ensures a good seal. The separator 4 can assume any possible position between the two small side walls 10.

The choice of materials for the divider makes it very easy to use and position within the dish to create compartments of varying sizes. Of course, it is possible to use more than one divider per dish to form three or more compartments.

1. Separator (4) for cooking dish (2), characterized in that it comprises: - a glass plate (16), and - a silicone coating (18) of said glass plate.

2. Separator (4) according to claim 1, characterized in that the glass plate (16) is made of tempered glass.

3. Separator (4) according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the coating (18) of the glass plate is obtained by overmolding.

4. Separator (4) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the separator (4) comprises two front faces connected by a peripheral edge, and in that the silicone coating (18) has at least one sealing lip (20) on a part of a periphery of a lateral face.

5. Separator (4) according to claim 4, characterized in that each lateral face has a shape with four sides connected by rounded areas, and in that a sealing lip (20) extends over three of the four sides of a face as well as at least partially into the rounded areas.

6. Separator (4) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it comprises a first plane of symmetry parallel to a face of the glass plate and a second plane of symmetry perpendicular to the first plane of symmetry.

7. Cooking dish (2) having a base (6) and side walls (8, 10), characterized in that it is provided with a separator (4) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, said separator (4) being able to rest on the base (6) of the cooking dish (2) and extend from a side wall (8; 10) of said dish to an opposite side wall (8; 10).

8. Cooking dish (2) according to claim 7, characterized in that the separator (4) comprises at least one sealing lip (20) intended to come into contact by deforming with the bottom (6) of the cooking dish and two opposite side walls (8; 10).

9. Cooking dish (2) according to one of claims 7 or 8, characterized in that it has a ceramic coating.

10. A method for separating the interior space of a cooking dish (2) into two distinct compartments, said cooking dish comprising a base (6) and side walls (8, 10), characterized in that it comprises the following steps: - supply of a separator (4) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, said separator (4) being adapted to the dimensions of the cooking dish (2), and - placement of the separator (4) in the cooking dish (2) so that said separator (4) comes into contact with the bottom (6) of the cooking dish and two opposite side walls (8; 10).
