Description

Title of the invention: Actuation device for a cosmetic product packaging and application device, and associated assembly

[0001] The present invention relates to the dispensing of a cosmetic product, more particularly a scented solution, using an actuating device. A cosmetic product is, for example, a hair product, a hygiene product, a facial and / or body care product, a makeup product, or a sunscreen product. More generally, a cosmetic product is a product as defined in Regulation (EC) No 1223 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products. The scented solution could, for example, be a perfume or a deodorant.

[0002] In particular, the present invention relates to facilitating the actuation for dispensing for persons with reduced mobility who cannot perform a pressure gesture on said sprayer and / or visually impaired persons who have difficulty locating the dispensing head, and in particular the spray orifice.

[0003] Devices for conditioning and applying cosmetic products such as scented solutions, namely perfumes or deodorants, are generally sprayers.

[0004] A vaporizer for an odorous solution usually includes a storage container for the solution, and a spray head mounted on the storage container and movable between a solution distribution position and a rest position.

[0005] Such a commercially available sprayer is generally used by manually pressing the spray head to move it from its resting position to its dispensing position. This pressing is done, for example, by applying force with the index finger or thumb.

[0006] However, such a movement is sometimes not feasible for certain people with reduced mobility who, due to an accident or illness, can no longer perform it and, consequently, cannot use scented solution sprays. Such disabilities arise, for example, from spasticity, tremors, loss of an upper limb, or loss of strength.

[0007] The production of vaporizer packaging specific to each particular morphology could be a solution to allow the use of vaporizers by people with reduced mobility but is difficult to envisage on a large scale and would involve significant production costs.

[0008] In addition, people with reduced mobility, in a problem of inclusion and simplicity of purchase, are looking for solutions that can allow them to use the same packaged cosmetic products as people with full mobility.

[0009] Moreover, the product's spray nozzle is sometimes difficult to see, especially for some visually impaired people.

[0010] The present invention therefore aims to overcome the aforementioned disadvantages and to provide a device enabling the actuation of conditioning and application devices for a cosmetic product commonly found in the trade by a person with reduced mobility and / or poor vision.

[0011] To this end, the invention relates to an actuation device for a device for conditioning and applying a cosmetic product, more particularly a scented solution, notably a perfume or a deodorant, the conditioning and application device comprising a product storage container and a dispensing head mounted on the storage container and movable between a product dispensing position and a rest position, characterized in that the actuation device comprises a fixed structure, a receiving housing for said conditioning and application device, and an actuation element, the receiving housing being adapted to receive at least two different shapes of conditioning and application device, the fixed structure having a receiving location for the receiving housing, the receiving housing being received in the location of the fixed structure, the actuation element being movable, particularly in translation, between an active position and an inactive position, the actuation element in the active position being adapted to move the dispensing head of the conditioning and application device arranged in the receiving housing into the dispensing position,

[0012] Thus, the actuation element is capable of performing the pressure movement on the dispensing head instead of the user, simplifying use for a person with reduced mobility and / or visual impairment. Furthermore, the receiving housing allows the conditioning device, in particular those with different geometries, to be adapted to the actuation device.

[0013] According to other advantageous aspects of the invention, the actuation device comprises one or more of the following features, taken individually or in all technically possible combinations:

[0014] - the actuation device includes a user presence detector and a drive mechanism for the actuating element between the active and inactive positions, the drive mechanism being configured to move the actuation element from the inactive position to the active position in case of detection of a presence by the presence detector;

[0015] - the receiving housing is removable from the location;

[0016] - the actuation device has a mounting surface, so that the device the actuation is suitable for being placed on a surface;

[0017] - the receiving housing has an opening for the insertion of the device conditioning and application in the home;

[0018] - the opening is arranged opposite the mounting surface relative to the housing of reception ;

[0019] - the actuating element moves in translation between the active position and the inactive position, the actuation element being arranged opposite the opening, more particularly the center of the opening, according to the direction of the translation of the actuation element;

[0020] - the receiving housing delimits a receiving cavity, the receiving cavity comprising an upper part and a lower part, each part being delimited by sections, at least two sections of the upper part, more particularly each of the sections of the upper part, not extending in the same plane as a section of the lower part.

[0021] The invention further relates to an assembly comprising an actuation device as defined above and a device for conditioning and applying a cosmetic product, more particularly an odorant solution, in particular a perfume or a deodorant, the conditioning and application device comprising a product storage container and a dispensing head mounted on the storage container and movable between a product dispensing position and a rest position, the conditioning and application device being arranged in the receiving housing.

[0022] According to other advantageous aspects of the invention, the assembly includes, for example, the following feature:

[0023] - the receiving housing has a shape complementary to the container of storage, so that at least a lower portion, here at least a lower half, of the storage container is received in the receiving housing, the distribution head being arranged outside the receiving housing.

[0024] The invention also relates to an actuation device for a conditioning and application device (12) for a cosmetic product, more particularly for a scented solution, in particular a perfume or a deodorant, the conditioning and application device (12) comprising a storage container (16) for the product and a dispensing head (18) mounted on the storage container (16) and movable between a product dispensing position and a rest position, characterized in that the actuation device (10) comprises an actuation element (24), the actuation element (24) being movable, in particular in translation, between an active position and an inactive position, the actuation element (24) in the active position being adapted to move the dispensing head (18) of the conditioning and application device (12) into the dispensing position, the device comprising a user presence detector (46) and a drive mechanism (50) of the actuation element (24) between the active position and the inactive position, the drive mechanism (50) being configured to move the actuation element (24) from the inactive position to the active position in the event of detection of a presence by the presence detector (46), the presence detector (46) including a proximity touch sensor or a radar.

[0025] The invention will become clearer upon reading the following description, given solely by way of non-limiting example, and made with reference to the drawings in which:

[0026] [Fig-1] [Fig.1] is a schematic front view of an assembly comprising an actuation device, according to an example of the invention, and a device for conditioning and applying a cosmetic product, according to an embodiment of the invention, and

[0027] [Fig.2] [Fig.2] is a three-dimensional view of the whole of [Fig.1].

[0028] An actuation device 10 according to an example of the invention is shown in Figures 1 and 2.

[0029] The actuation device 10 is shown with a conditioning and application device 12 for a cosmetic product, more particularly for an odorant solution, in particular a perfume or a deodorant, which together form an assembly 14, according to the invention.

[0030] The conditioning and application device 12 is, for example, a sprayer intended to contain and spray a perfume or a deodorant.

[0031] The conditioning and application device 12 includes a cosmetic product storage container 16 and a dispensing head 18 mounted on the storage container 16, for example, via a head support 20 18.

[0032] The distribution head 18 is, for example, adapted to spray the product.

[0033] The distribution head 18 is movable, more particularly in translation along a direction of translation, between a product distribution position and a rest position, relative to the container 16, and here further relative to the support 20.

[0034] The default position, i.e. in the absence of action on the distribution head, is the rest position.

[0035] The head 18 is fixed to the support 20, so as to allow only the said translation as a relative movement.

[0036] The support 20 is, for example, screwed onto a neck of the container 16, so as to secure the head 18 with the container 16.

[0037] The distribution head 18 is, for example, centered with respect to a top surface of the container 16.

[0038] The actuation device 10 is adapted to receive such a conditioning and application device 12.

[0039] The actuation device 10 includes a receiving housing 22 for said conditioning and application device 12 and an actuation element 24.

[0040] The actuation device 10 further comprises here a fixed structure 26.

[0041] The receiving housing 22 is adapted to receive the container 16, so that the head 18 is arranged outside the housing 22.

[0042] More particularly, the receiving housing 22 has a complementary shape to at least two shapes of storage container 16, so that at least a lower portion, here at least a lower half, of said container 16 is received in the receiving housing 22, the distribution head 18 being arranged outside the receiving housing 22.

[0043] Here, the receiving housing 22 has a shape and dimensions such that the distribution heads 18 of the containers of the different shapes protrude from the receiving housing by the same distance, and at the same location.

[0044] Here, the receiving housing 22 is adapted to receive at least two different forms of conditioning and application device 12, here three different forms.

[0045] The receiving housing 22 delimits a receiving cavity 60, into which the container 16 is received.

[0046] The receiving housing 22 has an opening 34 for the insertion of the conditioning and application device 12 into the housing 22, more particularly into the cavity 60.

[0047] The receiving cavity 60 comprises an upper part 62 and a lower part 64.

[0048] The upper part 62 is arranged between the opening 34 and the lower part 64.

[0049] The upper part 62 has a shape such that it is suitable for receiving a first container shape type.

[0050] The lower part 64 is such that the receiving cavity 60, as a whole, is suitable for receiving a second type of container shape.

[0051] The first type of container shape has a lower height than the second type of container shape.

[0052] Each part is delimited by panels.

[0053] At least two sides of the upper part 62, more particularly each of the sides of the upper part, do not extend in the same plane as a side of the lower part 64.

[0054] More specifically, the lower part 64 here has a rectangular parallelepiped shape.

[0055] The upper part 62 has a passage section of a size that narrows as it goes from the opening 34 to the lower part 64, here along a direction called elevation.

[0056] The upper part 62 has a complementary shape to the container of the first type of shape.

[0057] The upper part 62 has, for example, here a truncated pyramid shape, the base of the pyramid forming the opening 34.

[0058] The base of the pyramid is, for example, a quadrilateral, for example a rhombus.

[0059] The directions of the sides of the quadrilateral are not parallel to those of the sides of the rectangular parallelepiped.

[0060] The projection along the elevation direction of the lower part 64 is included in each section of the upper part 62 perpendicular to the elevation direction.

[0061] The receiving housing 22 further includes a rim 66 surrounding the opening 34.

[0062] The rim 66 is adapted to form a shoulder of a complementary shoulder arranged at the top of a container 16, for example of a third type of shape.

[0063] The receiving housing 22 includes a bottom 28 and at least one side wall 30, the at least one side wall 30 being adapted to laterally surround the storage container 16.

[0064] At least one side wall 30 extends from the bottom 28.

[0065] A side wall 30 has, for example, a window 32 to see the container.

[0066] The opening 34 is arranged opposite the background 28.

[0067] The conditioning and application device 12 is held in the receiving housing 22 in all directions except for the opening 34.

[0068] The actuation device 10 has a mounting surface 36, so that the actuation device 10 is suitable for mounting on a surface.

[0069] Thus, the assembly does not need to be grasped, carried, or manipulated by the user for product distribution.

[0070] The receiving housing 22 is received in a base 38 of the fixed structure 26.

[0071] The receiving housing 22 is removable from the base 38.

[0072] More specifically, the base 38 has a location 39 for receiving the receiving housing 22.

[0073] Location 39 is complementary to background 28.

[0074] The base 38 includes the mounting surface 36.

[0075] The remainder of the fixed structure 26 extends from the base 38 to extend opposite the opening 34 along the direction of translation.

[0076] The fixed structure 26 here has a general shape forming a curve from the base 38 surrounding the receiving housing 22, the curve being closed with the base 38.

[0077] The fixed structure 26 here has the general shape of an oval or a circle apart from the base.

[0078] The fixed structure 26 has an easy-to-grasp shape.

[0079] The opening 34 is arranged opposite the mounting surface 36 with respect to the receiving housing 22, when the receiving housing 22 is received in the location 39.

[0080] The actuation element 24 is mobile, for example in translation along a direction of translation, between an active position and an inactive position, more particularly with respect to the fixed structure 26.

[0081] The direction of translation of the actuation element 24 is, for example, here coincided with the direction of translation of the distribution head 18 within the assembly 14.

[0082] The actuation element 24 includes, for example, an active portion 40.

[0083] The active portion 40 corresponds, for example, to one end of the actuation element.

[0084] The actuation element 24 includes, for example, a rod 42, the active portion 40 being an end of the rod 42.

[0085] The actuating element 24 in the active position moves the distribution head 18 of the conditioning device 12 arranged in the receiving housing 22, here received in the fixed structure 36, into the distribution position.

[0086] More particularly, the actuating element 24 in the active position, here its active portion 40, presses on the distribution head 18, so as to move it in translation from the rest position to the distribution position.

[0087] The actuation element 24 in the inactive position is arranged so that it does not exert any force on the distribution head 18.

[0088] In the inactive position, the actuating element 24, more particularly its active portion 40, extends, for example, in contact with the distribution head 18, without exerting any pressure force, or at a distance from the distribution head 18, for example with a clearance allowing easy insertion of the conditioning and application device 12 into the housing 22 without being hindered by the actuating element 24.

[0089] The actuation element 24, more particularly the active portion 40, is arranged opposite the opening 34, more particularly the center of the opening 34, according to the direction of the translation of the actuation element 24.

[0090] The actuation element 24, more particularly the active portion 40, is arranged at a distance from the receiving housing 22, here received in the fixed structure 26, such that, in the active position, it moves the distribution head 18 into the distribution position 12, and, in the inactive position, it does not exert any force on the distribution head 18.

[0091] The fixed structure 26 holds the actuating element 24, opposite the receiving housing 22, here opposite the opening 34, while allowing the translation of the actuating element 24 relative to the fixed structure 26.

[0092] The fixed structure 26 includes, for example, an opening, here a through opening, for the passage of the actuation element 24, here the rod 42.

[0093] The orifice extends along the direction of translation.

[0094] The orifice is a cylindrical orifice.

[0095] The actuation device 10 includes a drive mechanism 50 of the actuation element 24 between the active position and the inactive position.

[0096] The drive mechanism 50 includes, for example, at least one (here two) motor 52, at least one (here two) connecting rod 54 and a hoop 56.

[0097] The drive mechanism 50 is arranged within the fixed structure 26.

[0098] Here, each motor 52 is arranged in the base 38 near a respective end of the curve formed by the fixed structure.

[0099] The or each connecting rod 54 extends between a first end and a second end.

[0100] The motor or motors 52 are capable of rotating the first end of a respective connecting rod 54, here by means of a pivot joint.

[0101] The second end of the or each connecting rod 54 is connected to one end of the hoop 56, here by a pivot joint.

[0102] More particularly, the hoop 56 comprises two ends, each end being connected to a respective connecting rod, itself driven by a respective motor.

[0103] The arch 56 extends in the curve formed by the fixed structure.

[0104] The hoop 56 is mobile in translation only, here along the direction of translation, relative to the fixed structure.

[0105] Each connecting rod 54 converts the rotational movement of each motor 52 into translational movement of the hoop 56.

[0106] The actuating element 24 is fixed to the hoop 56, more particularly in the middle of the hoop 56, here opposite the base 38, so that the rotational movement of the or motors 52 drive the actuation element 24 between the active position and the inactive position.

[0107] The actuation device 10 further includes a user presence detector 46.

[0108] The presence detector 46 is adapted to detect a presence in front of the presence detector 46 and at a distance less than a threshold.

[0109] The presence detector 46 here includes a remote detector.

[0110] The threshold is, for example, adaptable according to the preferences and needs of a user.

[0111] The presence detector 46 detects, for example, the passage of a hand, of a wrist or any other part of the body of a user passing in front of said detector.

[0112] According to a first embodiment, alternatively or additionally, the presence detector 46 includes a touch sensor.

[0113] The touch sensor can be a contact touch sensor, requiring direct physical contact with the sensor surface to function, or a proximity touch sensor, capable of detecting the presence of a person, particularly a finger or a hand, without direct contact.

[0114] More preferably, the presence detector 46 includes a proximity touch sensor.

[0115] Preferably, according to the invention, the proximity touch sensor is chosen from an infrared (IR) sensor, a capacitive sensor, an ultrasonic sensor.

[0116] According to a second embodiment, the presence detector 46 includes a radar.

[0117] The presence detector 46 is arranged here within the fixed structure 26, the structure fixed 26 having a window 44 opposite the presence detector 46, so that the presence detector 46 looks outwards from the fixed structure 26.

[0118] The drive mechanism 50 is configured to move the actuating element 24 from the inactive position to the active position in the event of detection of a presence by the presence detector 46.

[0119] More specifically, the electronic device 10 includes a calculator 60.

[0120] The calculator 60 is connected or linked to the presence detector 46 and the drive mechanism 50.

[0121] The presence detector 46 is configured to send a detection signal to the computer 60 when it detects a presence.

[0122] The computer 60 is adapted to receive a signal from the presence detector 46 and is configured to send a control signal to the drive mechanism 50, more particularly the motor(s) 52, when it receives a detection signal, the drive mechanism 50 being configured to drive the movement of the actuating element into the active position upon receipt of the control signal.

[0123] In use, the actuation device 10 is provided.

[0124] Reception housing 22 is removed from base 28.

[0125] The conditioning device 12 is inserted into the cavity 60.

[0126] In the case of a container having a shape of the first type, the container is held in the upper part 62.

[0127] In the case of a container having a shape of the second type, the container is held in the whole of the cavity 60, up to the bottom of the cavity.

[0128] In the case of a container having a third type shape, the container is held by the contact between its shoulder and the rim 66.

[0129] The receiving housing 22 is replaced in position 39, so that the head 18 is arranged opposite the actuation element 24, here just below the active portion 40.

[0130] In each of the types of shape, the distribution head 18 is arranged in the same location, relative to the actuating element 24, thanks to the receiving housing 22.

[0131] When the presence sensor 46 detects the presence of a user, the actuator element 24 moves into the active position, so that the dispensing head dispenses the product.

[0132] If a user wishes to change the cosmetic product, it is sufficient to remove the receiving housing from the base 28 and replace the current conditioning device with a new conditioning device with the new cosmetic product, and then replace it in position 39.

[0133] The receiving housing 22 serves as an adapter between the rest of the actuation device and the conditioning device, so that the distribution heads of the various conditioning devices are always actuable by the actuation element 24.
