[0004] More specifically, vehicle seats are generally equipped with a sliding device allowing the seat cushion to be pushed or pulled forward or backward relative to the vehicle floor, a height adjustment device allowing the height of the seat cushion to be adjusted relative to the vehicle floor, and a tilting device allowing the inclination of the seat back relative to the seat cushion to be adjusted.
[0005] These devices can be implemented by very simple mechanisms, so that they can be supplied in almost all vehicles without necessarily involving an increase in manufacturing costs and lead times.

[0015] In this regard, another object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat equipped with a device allowing both the length and the inclination of the seat cushion to be adjusted by means of a single mechanism.

[0017] The vehicle seat according to the invention comprises a seat cushion which includes, in a manner known per se, a cushion body and a front part of the cushion which is movably connected to the cushion body.
[0018] More specifically, the cushion body comprises a body frame and a body foam element mounted on it, the front part of the cushion comprises a front part frame and a front part foam element mounted on it, and the front part frame is movably connected to the body frame.
[0019] According to the invention, the seat cushion adjustment device comprises
[0020] - a support fixed to the body frame and comprising a pair of side walls arranged respectively on both sides of the body frame, these side walls being provided with respective slots aligned with each other; and
[0021] - a slider fixed to the front part frame and comprising at least one pair of protruding pins arranged respectively on the two opposite sides of the slider, each pin being able to be received and retained in a corresponding slot of the support.

Demands
1. Vehicle seat (100), comprising a seat cushion (10) which includes a seat cushion body (20) provided with a body frame (22) and a front part of the seat cushion (30) provided with a front part frame (32), characterized in that it includes a device (1) which connects this body frame (22) to this front part frame (32) and comprises: - a support (3) fixed to this body frame (22) and comprising a pair of side walls (5a, 5b) disposed respectively on both sides of this body frame and provided with respective slots (1a, 1b) aligned with each other; - a slider (9) fixed on this front part frame (32) and comprising at least one pair of protruding pins (13a, 13b) arranged respectively on both sides of this slider, each pin of the pair or pairs being received and retained in a corresponding slot (11a, 11b) of this support;and - a locking arrangement (15a, 15b, 17a, 17b) which can be switched between a locking position, in which the movement of these pins (13a, 13b) along these slots (lia, 11b) is prevented, and an unlocking position, in which the movement of these pins (13a, 13b) along these slots (lia, 11b) is permitted.;

A vehicle seat (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein this locking arrangement comprises first engagement means (15a, 15b) provided on or connected to this support (3) and second engagement means (17a, 17b) provided on or connected to this slider (9), the first and second engagement means being designed to cooperate with each other to prevent movement of the slider pins along the slots in the support when the locking arrangement is in the locked position, and wherein this arrangement The locking mechanism further includes a triggering element (25) to bring these second engagement means out of engagement with these first engagement means, thus bringing the locking arrangement to the unlocking position and allowing the movement of the slider pins along the slots of the support.
5. Vehicle seat (100) according to claim 4, wherein this locking arrangement includes excitation means (23a, 23b) for pushing these first and second engagement means towards the engagement position.

Vehicle seat (100) according to claim 4 or 5, wherein these first engagement means comprise a plurality of recesses (15a, 15b) distributed along each side wall (5a, 5b) of these supports (3) and these second engagement means comprise a pair of pegs, each peg being intended to be received in a recess of a respective side wall of this support, or a rod (17), the opposite ends of which (17a, 17b) are intended to be received in recesses of the respective side walls of the support.

Vehicle seat (100) according to claim 6, in which this device (1) comprises a pair of arms (19a, 19b) which are pivotally connected at pivot axes (21a, 21b) to opposite sides of this slider (9), these arms (19a, 19b) carrying at their first ends this rod (17) and being connected, at their second ends opposite these first ends, to this triggering member (25).
8. Vehicle seat (100) according to claims 5 and 7, wherein these stressing means comprise torsion springs (23a, 23b) provided at the pivot axes (21a, 21b) of these arms (19a, 19b).
9. Vehicle seat (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein this device (1) further comprises means for pushing this slider towards the front ends of these slots (1a, 11b) of the support.
10. Vehicle seat (100) according to claim 9, wherein these means for pushing this slider towards the front ends of these slots (1a, 11b) of the support comprise a spring (27) mounted on 12 this support and in contact with a transverse stop bar (29) fixed to this slider (9) or integral with it.
11. Vehicle seat (100) according to claim 4, wherein this triggering member (25) is manually operated by the user.
12. Vehicle seat (100) according to claim 4, wherein this triggering member (25) is provided with a motorized drive which can be activated by the user.
