Abstract
An insulated wooden exterior door system for a dwelling, with a maximum thickness of 68 mm, to achieve a thermal transmittance of less than 0.7 Ud, characterized by: - a three-ply laminated larch door leaf (a), composed of two 17 mm thick inner (a', a'') and outer layers, and an inner larch layer (a''') which has in its center a square tube (b) insulated inside the tube by expanded polyurethane (c), the perimeter of this door leaf being made of at least two uprights (d) and two rails (e), - A cladding (f), consisting of a larch facing composed of two layers of larch (f') covering a polyurethane insulation (g) with a thickness of 40 mm and a lambda of 0.029 W / (mxK), the perimeter of the facing being deprived of insulation in favor of a wood of okoume plywood (h) marine, - The connection of the facings (f) with the uprights (d) and crossbars (e) is made by a deep groove (i) of 3 centimeters made in the uprights and crossbars,in which the perimeter of the facing (h) is placed with a minimum overlap of 2.5 centimeters.
