Abstract

The battery system (2) for a motor vehicle comprises: - a support plate (4), - a stack (7) comprising several battery cells (6) fixed to the support plate (4) and aligned along a main axis (8) of the battery system (2), - two edge elements (10), fixed to the support plate (4), located on either side of the stack (7) with respect to the main axis (8) and in contact with the stack (7), one of these edge elements (10), referred to as the main edge element (10a), having at least one through hole, referred to as the clamping hole (12), and - a clamping device (16) for the stack (7) comprising: - a base, fixed to the support plate (4), extending inside at least one clamping hole (12), - a movable part (24), extending inside at least one clamping hole (12) of the main edge element (10a),and - a clamping screw (32) engaged in the tapped hole and extending through the movable part (24), the clamping screw (32) comprising a head (34) bearing against a vertex of the movable part (24).
