Hygicover

Abstract

A hygienic cover 99 for an object 100 with a flat elongated base, the cover being a sheet of impermeable material having an elongated bottom face 3 and one or more side faces (Figure 3, (2 & 22)) extending upwards from the bottom face. The side faces define a surround 11 for an entrance 10, the bottom face being opposite the entrance. There are a plurality of corners (Figure 3, 5) between the side faces. The entrance has a grip means 1 for securing the object in the cover. Preferably the cover is used with toolboxes. The corners may be dart type corners 4. The grip means may be elasticated or a drawstring. The cover material may be antimicrobial. The cover material may be biodegradable. The cover material may be polypropylene, polyethylene, chlorinated polyethylene or made from an elastomeric material.

Claims

1. A hygienic cover device for an object with a flat elongated base comprising: a sheet of impermeable material, the sheet defining an elongated bottom face and one or more side faces arranged to extend orthogonally from the bottom face, wherein the one or more side faces define a surround for an entrance, the bottom face is arranged to cover the flat base opposing the entrance, and there are a plurality of corners between the side faces; wherein the entrance comprises a grip means for the object.

2. A hygienic cover device according to claim 1 comprising a cover for the base of a toolbox or similar when the toolbox is brought into a location from another location.

3. A hygienic cover device according to claim 1 or 2 comprising a plurality of dart corners.

4. A hygienic cover device according to claim 1 or 2 wherein the grip means comprises an elasticated grip means.

5. A hygienic cover device according to claim 1 or 2 wherein the grip means comprises a drawstring.

6. A hygienic cover device according to any preceding claim wherein the material is antimicrobial.

7. A hygienic cover device according to any preceding claim wherein the material is biodegradable.

8. A hygienic cover device according to any preceding claim wherein the material is polypropylene.

9. A hygienic cover device according to any of claims 1 to 7 wherein the material is polyethylene.

10. A hygienic cover device according to any of claims 1 to 7 wherein the material is chlorinated polyethylene.

11. A hygienic cover device according to any preceding claims wherein the material is elastomeric material.
