Electronic ornamental device

Abstract

An electronic ornamental device for creating an atmosphere to help prevent the ripening process of consumables (e.g. fruit, vegetables, eggs) and prolong their shelf life. The device may include a polypropylene base 1 to store electronics, a transparent dome 2, an electronic screen 3. The dome may have sliding double doors 4. The dome may be squared. The screen may display the current temperature and humidity and other key features such as time left until spoilage of contained consumables (spoil timer). Vents (5, figure 2) may be connected to the cooling system (7, figure 3) and dehumidifier / humidifier systems (9). A CO2 cartridge system (10) may release CO2 into the storage area contained atmosphere. A water tank (8) may be connected to a drainage hole (6, figure 2). Air compression may be used to assist in colling and create a vacuum within the storage area.
