[0010] The following embodiment example of the present invention will be described using the drawings. In all figures of the embodiment example, identical or corresponding parts may be marked with the same symbol.
[0011] <<Embodiment example>> An embodiment example of the present invention is described below according to Fig. 1, Fig. 2, and Fig. 3.
[0012] Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram showing the overall appearance of an obstacle deflector 10. The obstacle deflector 10 has two middle beams 2, an obstacle deflection part 1, a reinforcement member 3, and a reinforcement member 4. The obstacle deflector 10 installed in front of the railroad vehicle is a device for removing obstacles such as cars, animals, etc. present in front of the railroad vehicle. Therefore, the obstacle deflection part 1 of the obstacle deflector 10 is subjected to a load Fl in the rearward direction from the front of the railroad vehicle when removing obstacles. Two middle beams 2 are provided between the obstacle deflection part 1 and a railroad vehicle body (not shown).
[0013] Each of the two middle beams 2 is connected to a side surface on the rear side of the railroad vehicle of the obstacle deflection part 1 and connect the obstacle deflection part 1 to the railroad vehicle body (not shown). A space 5 is formed on the upper side in the vertical direction of the connection between the obstacle deflection part 1 and the two middle beams 2. That is, the space 5 is formed on the upper side in the vertical direction between ends of the middle beam 2 that is connection side of the obstacle deflection part 1 and the extending middle beams part in backward direction of the railroad vehicle.
[0014] Specifically, the middle beam 2 includes a first middle beam part 2a, and a second middle beam part 2b and a third middle beam part 2c that diverge from the first middle beam part 2a at a branching part 2al. The second middle beam part 2b extends forward from the branching part 2al. The third middle beam part 2c is provided to extend forward after extending downward from the branching part 2al. The second middle beam part 2b and the forwardly extending part of the third middle beam part 2c are opposite each other in the vertical direction. The front end part of the third middle beam part 2c is connected to a side surface on the rear side of the vehicle of the obstacle deflection part 1. Between the two opposing second middle beam parts 2b, there is a middle beam connection part 2d connecting them. The space 5 is surrounded by the two second middle beam parts 2b, the reinforcement member 4, the two third middle beam parts 2c, and the middle beam connection part 2d.
[0015] Each of the middle beams 2 is provided with the reinforcement member 3 and the reinforcement member 4 on the left and right sides in the vehicle width direction, which are connected to the obstacle deflection part 1. Specifically, when viewed from the front, the reinforcement member 3 is provided on the right side (outside) of the third middle beam part 2c in the vehicle width direction. The reinforcement member 4 is provided on the left side (inside) of the third middle beam part 2c in the vehicle width direction. The reinforcement member 4 is, for example, a plate-shaped member. The reinforcement member 4 connects the two opposing third middle beam parts 2c. It should be noted that the reinforcement member 3 may be referred to as the "first reinforcement member" and the reinforcement member 4 may be referred to as the "second reinforcement member".
[0016] Fig. 2 shows an example structure of the reinforcement member 3. The reinforcement member 3 connects the obstacle deflection part 1 to the middle beam 2. As an example, the reinforcement member 3 is composed of a plurality of plates, as shown in the reinforcement members 3a to 3d. Each plate comprising reinforcement members 3a to 3d is provided with a fillet. In this embodiment example shown in Fig. 2, each of the reinforcement members 3a to 3d (plurality of plates) is independently connected to the obstacle deflection part 1 and the middle beam 2.
[0017] Fig. 3 shows a cross-section of the obstacle deflection part 1 and the reinforcement member 3. Beams are provided inside the obstacle deflection part 1. In this example, as an example, a plurality of plate beams 6a, 6b, and 6c are provided. The beams 6a, 6b, and 6c are parallel to the top surface of the obstacle deflection part 1. The beam 6a is provided below the top surface of the obstacle deflection part 1, with the beam 6a separated from the top surface, the beam 6b is provided below the beam 6a, with the beam 6b separated from the beam 6a, and the beam 6c is provided below the beam 6b, with the bottom surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 separated from the beam 6c.
[0018] A reinforcement member 3b is provided at a position overlapping the plate thickness of the beam 6a (i.e., a position overlapping a cross section in a thickness direction of the beam 6a in the horizontal direction). The reinforcement member 3c is provided at a position overlapping the thickness of the beam 6b (i.e., a position overlapping a cross section in a thickness direction of the beam 6b in the horizontal direction). The reinforcement member 3d is provided at a position overlapping with a plate thickness of the beam 6c (i.e., a position overlapping in the horizontal direction with a cross section in a thickness direction of the beam 6c).
[0019] The reinforcement members 3b that overlaps the plate thickness of the beam 6a is arranged in a range that exceeds the vertical line (dotted line LI) at the rear end of the space 5 in the direction from the front of the railroad vehicle toward the rear of the railroad vehicle. The reinforcement members 3c and 3d are arranged in a range that does not exceed the vertical line (dotted line LI) at the rear end of the space 5 in the direction from the front of the railroad vehicle toward the rear of the railroad vehicle. Such arrangement of the reinforcement members 3b, 3c and 3d is preferred from the viewpoint of weight reduction and material cost reduction while effectively ensuring the mitigation effect of stress concentration.
[0020] It should be noted that the reinforcement member 3b may be arranged in the range that does not exceed the vertical line (dotted line LI) at the rear end of the space 5 in the direction from the front of the railroad vehicle toward the rear of the railroad vehicle. At least one of the reinforcement members 3c and 3d may be arranged in a range that exceeds the vertical line (dotted line LI) at the rear end of the space 5 in the direction from the front of the railroad vehicle toward the rear of the railroad vehicle .
[0021] The reinforcement member 3a is provided at a position that overlaps the plate thickness of the plate part that constitutes the top surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 (i.e., overlaps in the horizontal direction with the cross section in the thickness direction of the plate part), and is arranged in the range that does not exceeds the vertical line (dotted line LI) at the rear end of the space 5 in the direction from the front of the railroad vehicle toward the rear of the railroad vehicle. Since the stress is concentrated on the top surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 and the top surface of the middle beam 2 (the top surface of the third middle beam part 2c), the strength against the stress can increase by providing the welded length of the reinforcement member 3a so that it is relatively small.
[0022] Next, the transmission of force when the obstacle is eliminated by the obstacle deflector 10 for railroad vehicle configured as described above will be explained. When a car, animal, or other object strikes the obstacle deflection part 1 for railroad vehicle, a load Fl is applied in a direction from the front of the vehicle to the rear, as shown in Fig. 1. The load applied to the surface in the front side of the railroad vehicle is transmitted to the top surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 and the beams 6a to 6c shown in Fig. 3.
[0023] The top surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 (the plate part constituting the top surface) and the reinforcement member 3a are connected horizontally, and the beams 6a to 6c and the reinforcement members 3b to 3d are connected horizontally, respectively. (Preferably, the top surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 (the plate part constituting the top surface) and the reinforcement member 3a are connected such that the top and bottom surfaces of the plate part and the top and bottom surfaces of the reinforcement member 3a are located on the same plane, respectively. Preferably, the beams 6a to 6c and the reinforcement members 3b to 3d are connected such that the top and bottom surfaces of beams 6a to 6c and the top and bottom surfaces of reinforcement members 3b to 3d are located on the same plane, respectively.)
[0024] This prevents stress concentration on the surface on the vehicle direction side of the obstacle deflection part 1 because the load is linearly transmitted from the top surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 (the plate part constituting the top surface) to the reinforcement member 3a, and the load is linearly transmitted from the beam 6a to 6c to the reinforcement members 3b to 3d. In addition, because the reinforcement members 3b to 3d are provided with fillets, the load is distributed over a wide area of the reinforcement members 3b to 3d (plates comprising the reinforcement members 3b to 3d) to absorb the force. It should be noted that the fillets may be provided in the reinforcement member 3a.
[0025] The load transmitted to the reinforcement members 3a to 3d is transmitted to the middle beam 2. The load is then transmitted to the reinforcement member 4 shown in Fig. 1, and the load is transmitted to the middle beam 2 on the opposite side in the vehicle width direction, reinforcement members 3a to 3d, and the obstacle deflection part 1 to absorb the load Fl by the entire obstacle deflector 10 for railroad vehicle.
[0026] As explained above, in the obstacle deflector 10, the reinforcement members 3a to 3d are provided at positions overlapping the top surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 and the plate thickness of the beams 6a to 6c to prevent stress concentration on the rear side surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 (on the rear direction of the vehicle) and the reinforcement members 3b to 3d are provided with fillets to prevent stress concentration on the reinforcement members 3b to 3d.
[0027] The load Fl applied to the obstacle deflection part 1 is distributed to the reinforcement members 3a to 3d and transmitted to the middle beam 2, thereby alleviating stress concentration at the edge of the space 5 in the middle beam 2 in the direction from the front of the vehicle to the rear of the vehicle. Preferably, the reinforcement member 3b is arranged in the range that exceeds the vertical line at the rear end of the space 5 in the direction from the front of the railroad vehicle toward the rear of the railroad vehicle to thereby further alleviate the stress concentration at the end of the space 5 in the direction from the front of the vehicle to the rear .
[0028] In addition, by transmitting and absorbing loads in the paths joined by the obstacle deflection part 1, the reinforcement members 3a to 3d, the middle beam 2, and the reinforcement member 4, the entire structure of the obstacle deflector 10 for the railroad vehicle in this embodiment example can absorb loads to achieve a high-strength structure.
[0029] As a result, it is possible to contribute to reducing the weight of the obstacle deflector 10 for the railroad vehicle and the reduction of the environmental load such as the ability to select materials with low environmental impact by reducing the thickness of the obstacle deflector of the railway vehicle and adopting a lightweight material.
[0030] <<Variation examples>> The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment examples, and various variation examples may be employed within the scope of the present invention. It should be noted that each of the variation examples can be combined with each other as long as they do not depart from the scope of the present invention.
[0031] In the above example, as shown in Fig. 4, the reinforcement member 3 may comprise a reinforcement member 3a and a reinforcement member 3e having a structure of multiple plates connected together. In this case, from the viewpoint of being able to further alleviate stress concentration on the side surface of the rail obstacle deflection 1 on the rear side of the vehicle, it is preferable that the part between the upper and lower ends of the connection between the reinforcement member 3e and the obstacle deflection part 1 overlaps with the crosssection in the thickness direction of beam 6a, the crosssection in the thickness direction of beam 6b and the cross-section in the thickness direction of beam 6c, in the horizontal direction.
[0032] In the above embodiment example, as shown in Fig. 5, the reinforcement member 3 may consist of a single plate, such as a reinforcement member 3f. In this case, from the viewpoint of being able to further alleviate stress concentration on the side surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 on the rear side of the vehicle, the part between the upper and lower ends of the connection between the reinforcement member 3f and the obstacle deflection part 1 overlaps with the cross-section in the thickness direction of beam 6a, the cross-section in the thickness direction of beam 6b and the cross-section in the thickness direction of beam 6c, in the horizontal direction.
[0033] In the above example, as shown in Fig. 6, the middle beam 2 may be connected to both the vertical upper part of the obstacle deflection part 1 and the rear part on the rear side of the vehicle in the vehicle head direction. In Fig. 6, two middle beams 2 are provided between the obstacle deflection part 1 and the railroad vehicle body, and each of the two middle beams 2 is connected to both the vertical upper part of the obstacle deflection part 1, the side surface of the obstacle deflection part 1 on the rear side of the vehicle, and the two middle beams connect the obstacle deflection part 1 to the railroad vehicle body (not shown).
