Airgap switching system

Abstract

The disclosure relates to an airgap switching system having multiple airgap devices capable of moving between a disconnected state, in which a physical airgap is formed, and a connected state, in which the gap is closed. The system includes multiple isolated sets of network interfaces, each linking an internal network interface and a data-network interface through the airgap devices. A controller manages switching of the airgap devices, while a communication component processes external access requests, performs multiple distinct authentication processes using stored configuration data, and triggers switching configurations based on authenticated requests.
