Abstract

The present invention provides a sidewalk device that includes a communications interface that transmits and receives information, an imager that captures an image of a pedestrian, an output interface that outputs information directed to the pedestrian, and a controller that transmits, to a vehicle, first information indicating the approach of a pedestrian to a roadway based on the captured image, and then outputs second information to warn the pedestrian of the vehicle.
