Antenna

Abstract

This article is an antenna used for in-vehicle communication devices, mobile communication devices such as mobile phones, industrial wireless communication devices, and wireless LANs. As shown in the enlarged reference view of the part showing the antenna, this antenna is formed by mounting a dielectric chip antenna and passive elements (inductor, capacitor, resistor, etc.) on an antenna substrate with a soldering material in a predetermined mounting area, thereby becoming an antenna. The antenna substrate includes an insulating substrate body, a ground plane formed with a pattern of metal foil on the substrate body, and an antenna element, as shown in the enlarged reference view of the part showing the antenna. Note that the feeding point is set on the ground plane side of the antenna element and is connected to the feeding point on the high-frequency circuit side.
