Anti-vibration and shock adapter

Abstract

The vibration- and shock-resistant adapter, an article according to the present design, is used, for example, to hold and secure a fragile electronic device (e.g., a smartphone) to the handlebars of a motorcycle, as shown in the reference drawing showing the state of use. As shown in the reference drawing, the vibration- and shock-resistant adapter is attached so as to connect a holder member for holding the electronic device to a mount member attached to the motorcycle. The vibration- and shock-resistant adapter blocks and absorbs vibrations and shocks transmitted primarily from the mount member, preventing them from being transmitted to the electronic device held in the holder member beyond.
