Insulation stripping tool

Abstract

This article is an insulation stripping tool for stripping the insulation layer of an electric wire. As shown in the "Reference Front View Showing the State of Use," an operator operates the operating unit to adjust the distance between the first and second members and clamp the insulated wire between them. Then, by rotating the insulation stripping tool relative to the insulated wire in the AR1 direction, which is a clockwise rotation direction as viewed in the DR1 direction, the blades separate the insulated wire into the insulation layer and the core wire. Also, as shown in the "Reference Front View Showing the State of Use," the auxiliary guide portion of the first member and the auxiliary guide portion of the second member are inclined in different directions as viewed in the DR1 direction, corresponding to portions of the helix of a right-handed screw. Therefore, when the insulation stripping tool is rotated clockwise in the AR1 direction relative to the insulated wire, the auxiliary guide portion assists the spiral motion of the insulation stripping tool relative to the insulated wire, causing the insulation stripping tool to rotate relative to the insulated wire and move relative to the insulated wire in the DR1 direction.
