Lid sealing machine

Abstract

The article to which this design relates is a lid sealing machine for sealing lids onto containers, and is used in various stores such as convenience stores. This lid sealing machine is equipped with an arm-shaped holding member for holding containers. The arm-shaped holding member is normally in a closed state. To hold a container with the holding member, the side wall of the container is brought into contact with a guide formed at the tip of the holding member and pushed in. This causes the arm-shaped holding member to open and the container is guided into the holding member. Once inserted into the holding member, the container is held by the holding member almost all the way around. Furthermore, this holding member is configured to be able to move between a position in front of the housing and a position inside the housing. The holding member is positioned in front of the housing when the user holds the container, and is configured to move to a position inside the housing when sealing a lid onto the container. The sealing means for sealing the lid is located inside the housing.
