Abstract

The attachment for thermal insulation material according to this article comprises semi-cylindrical members 82, 82 each composed of a semi-cylindrical main body 83 and an inner flange portion 84 protruding inward from one end of the semi-cylindrical main body, and by arranging the semi-cylindrical members adjacent to each other in a cylindrical shape as a whole, it is possible to insert an end of the thermal insulation material 51 inside the semi-cylindrical members 82, 82 with the end of the thermal insulation material 51 abutting against the inner flange portion 84 (reference perspective view and reference front view). With this configuration, it is possible to prevent the end of the thermal insulation material from being cut due to fibers such as glass wool protruding or becoming tangled or the overall shape expanding. This prevents the piping fixing device from becoming difficult to insert into the cylindrical space, and each of the semi-cylindrical bodies 83, 83 has a handle 101a protruding from one side and a handle 101b protruding from the other side of the outer periphery near the adjacent points, so that the end of the thermal insulation material 51 can be easily clamped by holding handles 101a, 101a with one hand and handles 101b, 101b with the other hand while rotating the semi-cylindrical members 82, 82 relative to each other around plastic hinge 102 provided to connect handles 101a, 101a (reference front view). When using the insulation material attachment of this article, handles 101a, 101a or handles 101b, 101b are held and the insulation material attachment, together with pre-attached insulation material 51, is inserted into cylindrical space 17 of the piping fastener. When the piping is fixed to the stand with the piping fastener, insulation material 51 can be wrapped around the piping while preventing any gaps from forming between the piping fastener (reference oblique view showing the state of use and reference cross-sectional view showing the state of use).
