Abstract

This item is a correction tool for correcting the misalignment of a joint of a human bone. As shown in Reference FIG. 1 showing the names of each part and Reference FIG. 2 showing the names of each part, the correction tool is composed of a main body, a pressing part attached to the tip of the main body so as to be movable in the axial direction and biased toward the tip side by a biasing member such as a coil spring (not shown) attached inside the main body, and a grip part attached to the base end side of the main body. A recess is formed at the tip of the pressing part, and an abutment surface is formed at the base end of the recess. When a practitioner performs treatment, the practitioner holds the grip part and abuts the pressing part on the patient's displaced joint. Specifically, the abutment surface of the pressing part is pressed against the end of the bone on one side of the joint and further pressed. Then, the bone on one side of the displaced joint moves to a normal position, and the misalignment of the bone joint is corrected. The correction tool of this item is particularly excellent for correcting the misalignment of the joints of the cervical vertebrae and the temporal bone.
