Abstract
This article is a horizontal member used to fix the angle of a bent portion provided in a temporary structure to a set constant angle, as shown in a reference diagram showing the usage state, which is a view of the temporary structure from above. The temporary structure shown in the reference diagram showing the usage state is a temporary scaffold, which is constructed including a number of columns, a cross member installed between two columns, and a work platform board that is spanned by locking hook members at both ends to the two cross members. A plurality of work platform boards are arranged side by side in the length direction of these work platform boards, thereby forming a passage for workers to walk etc. In the middle of this passage, a bent portion is provided where the gap between these work platform boards is covered with a floor material due to the angle formed between the work platform boards adjacent in the length direction. This article is spanned between two columns that are spaced at regular intervals by a connecting member at a position close to the bent portion outside this bent portion, whereby the angle of the bent portion is fixed to a constant angle. As shown in the reference perspective diagram showing the names of each part, this article is composed of two rod-shaped bodies each consisting of a base portion and an arm portion. The base portion of each rod-shaped body is formed of a disc-shaped member, and these disc-shaped members stacked in the vertical direction are rotatable relative to each other about a central axis by bolts. Also, the arm portion connected to each disc-shaped member is formed with a round pipe material as the main member, and a wedge member is arranged at the tip of each arm portion. These wedge members are press-fitted into the holes of the flange members provided on the two columns that are spaced at regular intervals by a connecting member at a position close to the aforementioned bent portion, as shown in the reference diagram showing the usage state, whereby this article is spanned between these columns. As shown in the reference perspective diagram showing the names of each part, round holes or semi-circular holes for drainage are provided in the round pipe material of each arm portion. Also, a number of small holes are formed at equal intervals around the central axis in each disc-shaped member. After rotating one disc-shaped member relative to the other disc-shaped member about the central axis, the angle formed by the two rod-shaped bodies can be made to coincide with the angle of the aforementioned bent portion by inserting a fixing pin member into the coincided small holes. The number of small holes formed in each disc-shaped member and the intervals between these small holes are different, as can be seen from the plan view and the bottom view. Therefore, the angle formed by the two rod-shaped bodies can be set to a number of different angles, and thus it becomes possible to correspond to the angles of the bent portions provided at various angles on the temporary scaffolds constructed at various locations.
