Abstract

The article of the present design is a handheld electric fan. As shown in the "reference perspective view," this electric fan includes a head unit equipped with a fan and a grip unit that is held during use. The head unit and grip unit are connected via a rotating shaft. The head unit can be adjusted to any angle from the basic configuration shown in the "perspective view," "front view," "rear view," "plan view," "bottom view," "right side view," and "left side view" to a position rotated 180 degrees backward around the rotating shaft, as shown in the "left side view with the head unit rotated and the cover unit open." As shown in the "reference perspective view," the grip unit includes a main body and a cover unit that is connected to the main body via an opening / closing shaft and can be opened and closed. The cover unit can be opened from the basic configuration shown in the "perspective view," "front view," "rear view," "plan view," "bottom view," "right side view," and "left side view" to the positions shown in the "left side view with the head unit rotated and the cover unit open" and "AA cross-sectional view" around the opening / closing shaft. Additionally, a recessed portion recessed toward the rear side is formed along the longitudinal direction of the main body portion on the inside of the main body portion, as shown in the "AA Cross-Section" and "Reference AA Cross-Section." Furthermore, a spring-loaded pressure plate is provided on the inside of the cover portion, facing the recessed portion of the main body portion when the cover portion is closed, as shown in the "Left Side View with the Head Rotated and the Cover Open," "AA Cross-Section," "Reference AA Cross-Section," and "Reference Left Side View with the Head Rotated and the Cover Open." Therefore, when the cover portion is closed with the center pole of the umbrella placed in the recessed portion of the main body portion, the center pole is pressed by the pressure plate, allowing the grip portion to be attached to any position on the center pole, as shown in the "Reference Right Side View of the Umbrella Attached to the Umbrella." The recessed portion and pressure plate are also provided with anti-slip rubber pads.
