Lever handles for building materials

Abstract

This item is a lever handle for fittings that is attached to the doors of buildings such as homes, offices, and hotels. In addition to its function as a lever handle, it also functions as a shoehorn. This lever handle is composed of two parts: the main part (black part) and the extension part (brown part) (see Reference Figure 1, showing the state in use). Only the back of the main part is light brown (see rear view). The two parts are attached with magnets, allowing the boundary between the two parts to be visually identified (see front view). When the two parts are joined together, they appear to connect as a single arched curve. To use this lever handle as a shoehorn, remove the extension part from the main part and insert the tip of the extension part near the heel when putting on shoes (see Reference Figure 2, showing the state in use). After putting on shoes, return the extension part to the main part, and the two parts will be attached by magnetic force. With this lever handle, the extension part functions as a shoehorn, allowing you to put on your shoes quickly, even on busy mornings.
