Abstract

This product is a bag that contains a cooled cold insulator and is worn around the neck of a person or pet (companion animal) to cool the neck. It comprises a belt-shaped bag body and a shape retainer that is inserted into the bag body together with the cold insulator and maintains the arc-shaped shape of the bag body. The bag body has an opening on the bottom side when the bag body is unfolded (see [reduced bottom view showing the unfolded bag body]), through which the cold insulator and shape retainer are placed inside the bag body. The surface of the bag body can be made of terry cloth to improve its cold retention and feel. Furthermore, the cold retention can be further improved by doubling the fabric of the bag body or by providing heat-retaining urethane on the inner surface of the fabric. The shape retainer is made of an elastic material and can be opened by applying force to separate the two ends, returning to its original shape when the force is removed. To use this product, as shown in the [Reference Diagram Showing How to Use], first insert the cold insulator into the opening of the bag body until it reaches the back of the bag body (see (1) in the figure; insert in the direction of the red arrow in the figure), then insert it through the opening between the bag body and the cold insulator until it reaches the back of the bag body (see (2) in the figure; insert in the direction of the red arrow in the figure), and finally, place the ends of the cold insulator and shape retainer inside the bag body (see the areas circled in red in (3)-(4) in the figure, and the [Reference EE End View] for the usage state), and attach it to the neck and use it (see [Reference Diagram Showing How to Use]). In this example, the cold insulator is a sealed ice pack bag made of soft synthetic resin film filled with a gel-like ice pack consisting of a mixture of water, a water-absorbing gelling agent, and a freezing-point depressant.
