Method for producing three-dimensional molded object

Abstract

To provide a method for producing a three-dimensional molded object, which can effectively prevent collapse of an outer mold when a thermosetting resin is heated and cured.SOLUTION: A method for producing a three-dimensional molded object of the present invention includes the steps of: curing a resin composition containing a curable resin and thermally expandable micro-capsules to form an outer mold; filling the outer mold with a thermosetting resin composition and heating and curing it; and heating the outer mold to a temperature equal to or higher than a foaming initiation temperature of the thermally expandable micro-capsules, collapsing them, and removing the three-dimensional molded object made of the cured thermosetting resin composition. A heating temperature in a heat curing step of the thermosetting resin composition is lower than the foaming initiation temperature of the thermally expandable micro-capsules by 30°C or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
