Toner for electrostatic latent image development, and image forming method

Abstract

To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development that, even when general-purpose varnish is used, can further improve application properties of the varnish, can sufficiently increase heat-resistant storage properties, and can continuously form images with less dirt, and an image forming method using the toner for electrostatic latent image development.SOLUTION: A toner for electrostatic latent image development includes, in a toner base particle, a mold release agent and a saturated hydrocarbon compound having 16 or more and 35 or less carbon atoms. A content of the saturated hydrocarbon compound is 1 ppm or more and 1000 ppm or less based on total mass of the toner for electrostatic latent image development. On a section of the toner, abundance of the mold release agent and the saturated hydrocarbon compound in a first area being an area a distance of which from the surface of the toner base particle is less than 1.0 μm, is smaller than abundance of the mold release agent and the saturated hydrocarbon compound in a second area being an area other than the first area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
