Abstract

To provide a segment joint for steel segments, which allows easy connection work, ensures reliable connection strength, and ensures watertightness to prevent water leakage.SOLUTION: In a segment joint for connecting steel segments each including a pair of main girders 3, a pair of joint plates 2, and a skin plate 7 in the circumferential direction of a tunnel, a main girder protrusion 4 that protrudes outward in the circumferential direction from the joint plate 2 is provided at an end of the main girder 3 of one of the segments 1 to be connected to each other, and a main girder step 5 into which the main girder protrusion 4 fits is provided at an end of the main girder 3 of the other segment 1. An inward fitting pin 4a is provided on the main girder protrusion 4, a fitting hole 5c into which the fitting pin 4a is fitted is provided in the main girder step 5 of the other segment 1, and a watertight cap into which the fitting pin 4a inserted into the fitting hole 5c is inserted, is provided inside the fitting hole 5c .SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
