To provide a toilet bowl flushing device that is less likely to generate noise.SOLUTION: A toilet bowl flushing device 1 that operates an opening / closing mechanism 350 for opening and closing a drain port 311 of a toilet bowl flushing tank 300 communicating with a toilet bowl 100 comprises: an output shaft 2 that rotates to open and close the opening / closing mechanism 350; a motor 7 that drives the output shaft 2; a clutch 5 that is positioned between two rotating members 3 and 4 to which the power from the motor 7 is transmitted and that are connected to each other to transmit the power to the output shaft 2, and that connects or separates the rotating members 3 and 4; an energizing member 23 that energizes the output shaft 2 to an initial position before the opening operation of the opening / closing mechanism 350 is performed when the opening operation is being performed by the opening / closing mechanism 350; a flushing handle member 34 connected to the output shaft 2; and a control unit 8 that controls the rotation of the motor 7 and controls the connection and separation of the clutch 5.
