Abstract

To achieve improved safety.SOLUTION: A periphery monitoring system of a work machine comprises: a detection unit for detecting objects present in a periphery of the work machine; and a control device configured to identify a type of the object present in a periphery of the work machine based on information obtained from the detection unit, calculate one or more positional relationships in a gravity direction and a horizontal direction for the plurality of objects, and perform processing based on the type of the object and the positional relationships.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
