Abstract
To provide a method of stringing an optical fiber-containing contact wire capable of suppressing elongation distortion of the optical fiber by new means.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of stringing a contact wire 1, including: a drawing step of drawing the contact wire 1 laterally wound around a drum 50; a housing step of housing the contact wire 1 in a fiber housing tray 20 included in a terminal fitting 2, with a terminal fitting 2 fixed to a terminal of the contact wire body 10 and an optical fiber 17 extending from the end of the contact wire body 10 not fixed to the contact wire body 10; and a leading-in step of leading a part of the portion of the optical fiber 17 housed in the fiber housing tray 20 into the contact wire body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
