Abstract

To provide a method for detecting leakage and / or jamming in spinning unit of a spinning device of a rotor spinning machine or an air jet spinning machine and a rotor spinning machine or an air jet spinning machine for implementation of this method.SOLUTION: A disclosed method includes: a step of setting a spinning machine to an inspection mode wherein compressed-air valves are set to "OPEN" state especially in a controllable manner to release supply of a compressed-air flow to a spinning unit; a step of switching the compressed-air source to "ON" to supply a compressed-air flow in a case where the compressed-air source is switched to "OFF"; a step of closing the compressed-air valves successively in a regulated order; and an identifying step of analyzing whether a measured compressed-air flow rate is under or over an allocated threshold value or threshold value range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
