Abstract

To provide an operation monitoring system and an operation monitoring method capable of grasping an interference possibility between a crane and an object in an early stage.SOLUTION: An operation monitoring system grasps the positional relationship between a crane 20A and a crane 20B even if the crane 20A and the crane 20B are located far apart by comparing object information of the crane 20B as the other object and positional information by a GPS, and grasps what parts of the crane 20A can interfere with the other crane 20B by comparing the object information of the crane 20B and the structure information related to the structure of the crane 20A. A determination unit performs state determination of the crane 20A and the other crane 20B by comparing the determination value calculated based on the positional information, the structure information and the object information with a predetermined threshold. The determination unit can grasp the interference possibility in an early stage regardless of the distance between the crane 20A and the other crane 20B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
